  1. Good morning chaps, its been a while since i have even bothered to check the forum out but everything does seem much better now and i also like the changes to the gameworld, think in time, everyone will adjust and they will work out. As for Bournemouth, we have lost our last couple of games, just trying to get to grips with the new match engine really. Trying a few formations out, hopefully something will stick soon as we are desperate for promotion this season. Certainly have the quality to do so. In other news, manager Josh Harman has confirmed his interest in Walsall legend Moussa Dembele.
  2. Top stuff Dan, can't imagine it was made any easier by this god awful forum. Chuffed with the manager and player of the year awards, thanks to everyone who voted. Tony I told you numerous times of my hope you would lose the playoffs so get over it. ☺
  3. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Yes, i must admit, after already being crowned Champions, this wait is killing me...
  4. Re: What tv series are you into? Not sure if it has been mentioned yet but just finished watching Secrets and Lies and thought it was brilliant. Looking forward to season 2.
  5. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread A 3-1 win over Leyton Orient sees Bournemouth crowned champions. Ended up being a lot more comfortable than expected with our end of season form really pulling us away from the others. Preparations are well under way for next season. See no reason why we can not aim for promotion again. Congrats to United and Southend as well.
  6. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread A quality DC 90+ that somebody is willing to part with. Good luck with that!
  7. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Well Bournemouth are preparing for life next season. Need more depth so willing to listen to offers on Alex Song, Santi Cazorla, Ranieri Sandro and Christian Eriksen. Eriksen banned until end of season but willing to discuss a deal via pm.
  8. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Cheers Dan.
  9. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Bournemouth Clinch Promotion Delighted to seal promotion with 2 games to spare. Managed to make some great signings at the start of the season and really improve the team. Thankfully its paid off and we can kick on into Division 3. In other news.. Osvaldo scored a hatrick making it 31 goals and 31 assists in 33 games. Ridiculous.
  10. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread After beating Millwall 2-1 last night, we are now 11 points clear of the playoffs with just 4 games remaining and with our goal difference being the best in the setup, it would take a catastrophic end to the season for us to miss out on promotion. Hopefully we can continue our 7 game winning streak and seal the title.
  11. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Dani Osvaldo App: 31 Goals: 27 Ass: 30 The man is a god, hes going nowhere.
  12. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread 9 points clear of playoff places with 5 games remaining.
  13. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Well with 9 games remaining, we are still sitting at the top of Division 4. However we are being heavily chased by Southend and Hull, looks like it will go down to the wire that one. In other news, im battling with the old SM dilemma, real life situation vs in game form. Osvaldo now playing for Boca Juniors and likely to drop but after winning the golden boot and player of the season for the past 2 seasons and with him having his best campaign yet, how on earth can i sell him! His record in a Bournemouth shirt. App GS Ass 27 (0) 21 25 29 (0) 22 13 36 (0) 20 15
  14. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Great to see the internal market so alive.
  15. Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions
  16. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Still got Chesterfield and Brentford on offer, Brentford looks to be sorted so just need to find a manager for Chesterfield now. Nobody internally has expressed an interest, so will have to be somebody off here. Anybody interested, let me know on this thread.
  17. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Chistian Eriksen Joins Bournemouth Deligthed to get Eriksen, a player i have wanted for a long time. In the end, i think i have paid a big price but sometimes you have to if you want to get that player you want. Quite amazing how much my squad has improved from 6 months ago but we are now forming a pretty formidable side who i have no doubt will climb the divisions. Sami Khedira will sit, whilst Eriksen and Cazorla play some football, lovely stuff
  18. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread I suppose the reason i enjoy the game so much is every manager has his own way of doing things. I have always thought managing a smaller club is all about balancing being a manager and an accountant. So whilst Craig, you think its good that you made a profit on Naismith, surely the manager in you would rather have Naismith than Garcia? It is harder than ever now to make money in this setup but in my opinion, it is much more important to have a squad of players you genuinely like and more importantly, a squad that will improve. When i started with Bournemouth, my best player was Craig Gordan, i now have an average rating of 90 and hardly any of those are on the decline, as a result, im very confident my squad will climb the divisions. This isn’t a pop at you Craig, as i say, different managers have different styles, you are happy with that deal, i would not be. I have little doubt Garcia will bag a hat-rick against me.
  19. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Well after going the first 15 games of the season unbeaten, we have lost our last 2 games. Always new a dip in form would come, just hope we can get back on track soon as possible. On a side note, Sami Khedira is available for the right offer.
  20. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Bournemouth's fine start to the season continues as we beat Peterborough 3-1 at home to make it 20 points 8 games in. Still unbeaten, long may it continue.
  21. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Beat Hull 4-1 away from home last night to make it 13 points from the first 5 games. Very happy with our start to the season, with the team i have assembled over the past few months, i fully expect a successful season. Osvaldo has taken his place at the top of the scorers charts already after winning the golden boot for the previous 2 seasons. Always a tricky thing on SM when you dont fancy the player in real life but he performs very well in game. Safe to say, he wont be going anywhere for a while yet.
  22. Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions I bought Routledge in hoping for a rise, he has been very good for a top half side from what i have seen?
  23. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread Pulis to WBA done deal. Really pleased, we have been so easy to beat for too long now and was no doubt heading towards relegation. Needed a strong character who will finally drop some of the deadwood out the team. Our last 3 appointments had not managed a single EPL game between them, pleased we have finally saw sense and bought in an experienced manager.
