  1. Cheers for the link Ed. I'd definitely be interested in this, put my name down on the interested list.
  2. Get in before the first external offers gets accepted!
  3. Already promoted to div.1 with 8 games to go.. lol
  4. I've made several new deals at Gillingham since my last post. Yacine Brahimi and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco came in from Sunderland, André Wisdom from Manchester City and finally Lucas Alario from River Plate. We're still open to offers on pretty much all players, as I'm hoping to get done as many deals as possible this season. I want the team ready for a title challenge in div.3 next season and won't be looking to make many deals then. Butland Manquillo Wisdom Andreolli Zukanovic Zuculini Saponara Carrasco Cabella Brahimi Destro Reserves: Butland Kaderabek - Mechele Dijks Akpa Akpro Bueno T.Carroll G.Martinez L.Augustinsson Beauvue Calleri Things are shaping up nicely. Out of these 21, the only players that hasn't been signed by myself is Mechele, Akpa, Carroll, Martinez and Calleri. The rest has been brought in since June earlier this year.
  5. Just posting to withdraw my interest. I think it's simply progressing too slowly, and with the current state of the forum (and seeing how all other forum run gw's are dying). I'm simply gonna pass on this. I wish you guys the best of luck with this though.
  6. Beat Watford 3-1 so we finally managed to secure a promotion spot! Bring on Div.1 !!
  7. With Tottenham out of reach at 1st place (Congratz), it is now between my Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester United of who will take the last direct-promotion spot. A draw would probably have been enough as we were 2 pts ahead before the match with just 3 games to go. So this win was really big as the gap now increased to 5 points with 2 games to go. Hopefully we'll beat Watford next round to secure div.1 for next season.
  8. Gillingham vs Colchester United 2-1 Changed things up for tonights game. Removed all who had performed poorly this season, and replaced them with the in-form ones (regardless of rating) and changed the tactics so a slightly more defensive one. Not sure if that's what gave us the win, but as long as we get 3 points it doesn't really matter. Also great to see Destro scoring his first goal for us, and even better when it was the deciding 2-1 goal in 81st minute after a nice combination with another new signing in Beauvue. With this win, we move up to 8th place only 1 point behind a playoff spot.
  9. Apologies in advance for going a little off topic. Just thought I'd check with you guys if you've got any tips of things to do or see in Liverpool. Planned a trip there this weekend and going with my father who is a Liverpool fan, so anything Liverpool related or for that matter just in general.. Would be greatly appreciated anyway.
  10. PSG have alot more then when this season started due to alot of sales. Don't think I can spend it, but don't really care. I won last season So no matter who I buy or do tactically I'll win again. That's SM for ya. lol
  11. With two losses on the trot, Gillingham are struggling to find the early season form. This time the losses came against Yeovil Town and Doncaster Rovers- But things aren't as dire off the field as they are on it. With several new exciting players having joined the club the last couple of days, and with another striker on the way too(!). Since the sale of Matias Suarez it's been clear that Koka and Vydra aren't ready to lead the front line. And to sort out our lack of proper options upfront we once again turned to the market, and it didn't take long before we managed to seal a deal over Claudio Beauvue who joined from Nottingham Forest, Mattia Destro then joined aswell, with Camarasa and Vezo heading to Portsmouth. To cover up for the departing players we brought in Marco Andreolli from Inter and Zuculini who will arrive in october when his transfer ban is up. But as everyone probably knows by now, things never seem to settle at Gillingham who earlier today confirmed they were in advanced talks regarding forward Alberto Bueno from Ipswich Town, who is expected to arrive later tonight. Hopefully he'll be a hit as we're sacrificing Kiyotake to fund the deal... And as if this wasn't enough to help us push back to a playoff spot, Funes Mori recently rose to 87, and in-form striker Jonathan Calleri recieved a +3 to 86. So despite our poor form, things are looking pretty good after all.
  12. PSG in talks with several clubs regarding both our players, but also some of our targets this window. Some deals have already been completed though: Icardi to Atl.Madrid (Part of a deal from last season.) Januzaj to PSG (Part of a deal from last season.) Subotic to PSG for 35M I'm still looking for a LB, not satisfied with Maxwell, Digne and Amavi.. If you have one that's better please drop me a PM.
  13. After a really bad run in july for Gillingham where we failed to win a single match in 6 games, and where we dropped out from the play off spots and got knocked out in the third round of the shield cup. Things are finally looking better again with a back to back win which means we're back in the race for promotion. Not too shabby for a club that should be expected to fight in the other end of the table based on the squad value compared to the rest. Other then that we continue to be active in the market and recently picked up new Ajax LB Mitchell Dijks, promising swedish talent Simon Thern and simply a riser in Rodic´. We're still looking to add a striker to our ranks, preferably around the rating of 86-88. We've managed to bulk up some cash from recent sales, so the fee isn't of great concern. But due to going back even when playing at home I've become pretty selective regarding who I bring in. But if you think you have someone that might fit the bill just drop me a line and we'll go from there.
  14. So much happening at Sheffield Wednesday it's time for another update. July was a busy month for us as we sold Ntep, Monreal and Ospina to bring in a host of promising talents and ofcourse, a new goalkeeper for our starting eleven. IN: Handanovic (91) = Ospina + 350K Sergi Samper (85) = 4.1M Timo Werner (85) = 5.8M Jonathan Tah (82) = 3.8M Godfred Donsah (82) = 3.6M Dele Alli (80) = 2.4M Lucas Hernandez (80) = 2M André Silva (78) = 1.1M Van De Beek (75) = 400K With these signings we have enough players to field two exiting line ups for the future. Handanovic Clyne - Mustafi - Gimenez - Gaya Kramer - Ginkel B.Silva - Jovetic - Correa Batshuayi Rico Cancelo - Rugani - Tah Samper Inaki W - Donsah - D.Alli - T.Werner Mitrovic - Wilson
  15. Yeah, bar 3 teams. My PSG and City at the top, and ofcourse, Kopstars Juventus rock bottom.
  16. Been a while since I updated here, but not too much happening at US Lecce atm, we're walking through div.2 as expected. Can't wait to play in div.1 next season and actually face real managers and not just unmanaged clubs. Last signing we made was a month ago when Fekir arrived, the good news is that our balance is finally green again and We're not forced to sell anyone. Had some really nice rises this month btw! De Gea +1 to 93 Krychowiak +2 to 90 Gaya +3 to 89 Coquelin +2 to 88 Gimenez +2 to 88 Bellerin +5 to 87
  17. Don't think I've posted here since taking over Gillingham 6 weeks ago.. But things are finally starting to settle now, and I feel I've already made the team my own. The club was bleeding money from both home(!) and away games when I took over, so the general idea to start with was to cut some on the wages. 23 players was sacrificed while "only" 15 joined. The list on all IN and OUT would be too long to post, but I think the most Notable IN is probably Butland, Amavi, Cabella and Zukanovic. 14 games into the season we're currently sitting 5th in div.3 which I'm quite satisfied with considering the massive changes I've made in the starting eleven since turn 1. Reaching a play-off spot this season would be a nice bonus, but our (realistic) goal is too gain promotion to div.2 next season rather then this one.
