Re: 35+ TRACTOR CLUB IS HERE and we are angry as seen below All old men drive tractors and we feel our club caters well to them since they will be arriving to the club in tractors. Our competition is Air Force United, but we will blow them out of the water, surely old men won't be in the Air Force.

  7. Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. Don't mind this. But lets just give points to 2nd place if we are giving. Considering there are only 8 teams in a division.
  8. Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. Do I get a trigger for predicting there might be a trigger today?

  12. Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. TEAM OF THE WEEK : WEEK 3 DIVISION 1 Anthony Lopes Had an excellent game to notch up Lyon’s first points of the season. Played a sweeper role in a 3-5-2 and really helped his defenders out when they were in trouble. Only the third cleansheet in all matches in the division. Rod Fanni Rubin Kazan could only manage 7 shots compared to Cruzerio’s 16 as Cruzerio’s defense proved to be a thorn for them. Fanni was the standout performer being solid if not spectacular. Inigo Martinez Another solid performance and a second appearance on the team of the week section. Martinez was given the job of marking Benteke and did such a good job that Benteke would have been better supporting his team from the stands. Milan Bisevac Lined up right in the center of the 3 at the back for Lyon. Milan Bisevac was one of the best players out there and he scored the crucial winner to give relief to the Lyon manager. Not only that he was instrumental in keeping Basel down to less than half shots of what Lyon managed. Vital Dede Rubin Kazan had a great game last time out , however here they were met with a great defensive unit in Cruzerio who limited them to just a few chances. Dede was pivotal to Cruzerio’s defense and he scored the important opener in the game as well. Mubarak Wakaso Mubarak Wakaso is a name not many have heard but he is proving to be a huge success with his 2nd time on this section. Kazan’s best player by far as he scored the only goal for his team. However he was unable to prevent a defeat to Cruzerio. Xabi Prieto A magician from the midfield can define Prieto. He can pass, defend and score. He did the later really well as it was the crucial winner against a good Aston Villa side. This is his second appearance on this section as well. Moussa Sissoko Man of the match in the much fancied Newcastle vs Galatasaray game. Stopped the likes of Sneijder from having much space and hence thwarted the Galatasaray attack. Not only that Sissoko scored the equalizer in the 70th minute to cancel out Robinho’s opener to earn Newcastle a vital point. Christian Ledesma It speaks a great deal of a teams performance when they have one defender, one midfielder and one forward in the division’s team of the week. Ledesma was part of the quatret of Fanni,Dede and Fred and together they decided the game for Cruzerio. Chaves Fred Fred makes his first appearance in our team of the week section as he led with an inspirational performance for Cruzerio as they beat Kazan 2-1. Not only did he scored the eventual winner but he was rightly voted the man of the match. Din’t allow the defenders a moments rest. Imanol Agirretxe © The difference between Sociedad and Villa on the night was this man and that is why he is our captain for the round. Villa had a very poor Benteke while Sociedad had Imanol Agiretexe who scored the equalizer just as Villa had taken the lead. HONORABLE MENTIONS Aritz Aduriz Taking him off was probably the biggest mistake by the Aston Villa manager as he was by far their best player also scoring their only goal. Needs to linkup with Benteke better. Carlos Vela Couldn’t make the team of the week only because of the excellent performances from Fred and his teamamate Agiretxe. Provided both assists for his goals and was a nuisance for the Villa defenders with his movements. Souza Robinho Great performance from the ex-Milan, Manchester city lad as he scored the opener and was probably the best player for his side. Would be a bit disappointed to end up on the losing side. SUPERSUB Olcan Adin Second appearance on our Supersub section for the Galatasaray winger as he made sure Newcastle wouldn’t get on the front foot after the Sissoko equalizer and created some opening for Yilmaz as well. Shouldn’t be far from the starting spot with these performances.
  13. Re: Official Red Devils Thread If Blind signs does he slot into the first XI? I think he could still be a good backup option in the midfield. Also, what do you guys think about the system considering Di Maria has to start in the XI? I can't see him as a LWB, possibly LCM? or do you think Van Gaal will change the system?

Re: 35+ Yeah think 20 is a lot of manager to have a draft. Could be done but only with lesser managers. My eyes are totally fixed on a few teams
  15. Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. TEAM OF THE WEEK : WEEK 2 DIVISION 1 Victor Enyeama (Cruzerio) The Cruzerio shotstopper was vital in ensuring that the likes of Benteke and Aduriz don’t end up scoring more than 2 as Cruzerio held on for a very entertaining draw against 10 men Aston Villa. Enyeama was vital as the Curzerio defense looked a bit out of shape on the night. Martin Demichelis (Newcastle United) Newcastle had a much tougher night than expected by the bookies at the betting corner as Basel took the lead, however Demichelis came up with a crucial headed equalizer and a fine performance at the back to make sure the score was 1-1. A fine performance by the world cup finalist all in all. Inigo Martinez (Real Sociedad) © Inigo Martinez is probably even more happy than the picture above as he captains the team of the week side with an amazing performance in Sociedads 2-1 win over Galatasaray. The 83rd minute strike from the Sociedad center back proved the be the eventual winner and his performance also earned him a man of the match award. Dusan Basta (Rubin Kazan) Rubin Kazan was the team of the week and there were a lot of impressive performances in the side with one being Central defender Dusan Basta. His leadership at the back ensured that his side were the only ones to keep a cleansheet during the second round of fixtures in the division. Mikel Gonzalez (Real Sociedad) Assisted the equalizer as he becomes the second defender from the Sociedad back four on our team of the week. Combined with his assist he also managed to keep the likes of Yilmaz and Sneijder at bay for long periods as they ran out 2-1 winners. Mubarak Wakaso (Rubin Kazan) An excellent performance from the Ghanaian international against Lyon. He also scored the opening goal in the 13th minute to get Rubin Kazan on its way to an easy win. Helped Karadeniz control the midfield excellently. Xabi Prieto (Real Sociedad) Another addition from Real Sociedad and it is the captain this time who led from the front with the crucial equalizer and then also setting up the winner for Inigo Martinez. His performances in his team were only over shadowed by the excellent Inigo Martinez. Rafael Van der Vaart (Cruzerio) The midfielder from Cruzerio was on another level on the night with a goal and assist against much fancied keeper Claudio Bravo. The likes of Vlaar and Distin had no control over him, as VDV ran rings around them dictating play ensuring Cruzerio got a point at Villa Park. Gokdeniz Karadeniz (Rubin Kazan) Rubin Kazan were definitely the most impressive side of the weekend as they ran out easy winner against a much fancied Lyon side. The game however was truly won In the midfield where Deniz Deniz controlled the game and thwarted any potential attacks from big players like Gonalons and Grenier to limit Lyon to the lowest shots in the division fixtures. Rodrigo Lima (FC Basel) Was alone upfront for much of the match as Basel pulled off a great 1-1 draw against Newcastle United. Lima led the line well as he created enough trouble to limit the Newcastle full backs from attacking. A great performance capped off with a great goal. Christian Benteke (Aston Villa) Benteke is proving his fans right with a great performance again after his week 1 appeareance in the honorable mentions. He was everywhere in the match as he combined well with Aduriz and Agbonlahor to muster nearly 25 shots for 10 men Aston Villa who lost a huge attacking threat in Carlosn Sanchez when he was sent off in the 50th minute. HONORABLE MENTIONS Wesley Sneijder (Galatasaray) Opened the scored early on for Galatasaray against Real Sociedad, however ended up being on the losing side. However Sneijder was not to be blamed for the loss and delivered the level that has come to be expected of him over the years. Claudio Bravo (Aston Villa) The Aston Villa vs Cruzerio game had two keepers in fine form as both kept our one shot after the other. Bravo did well considering Villa were bombarded after going down to 10 men early in the second half. A second great performance from the Chilean captain. Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad) Carlos Vela had a decent performance as he strung attack after attack for his team. He was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet himself but with the level he is at it might just be the next match. Cesar Navas (Rubin Kazan) Looked a bit suspect at the back against Gonalons however Navas came up with the goods as he assisted both the goals in Rubin Kazan’s win. SUPERSUB Pelendier Dagoberto Came on as soon as Aston Villa were down to 10 men and slotted into the left winger position. Created a lot of problems for Vlaar and that consequently stopped Vlaar from feeding balls into Weimann. Solid performance from the Cruzerio substitute.
  16. Re: Official Manchester City Thread From what I understand Arsenal and City couldn't be in the same half for some reason (I think TV viewings/Sky not wanting them to play on the same night). So City had to be paired with Chelsea hence the bottom half which only had the Chelsea group and Munich group free. Hence Munich.
  17. Re: Official Manchester City Thread I hate this TV pairing thing, it makes the draw very predictable

  23. Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. We could probably add managers once people start hitting triggers?
  24. Re: TCO92 - Match Previews/Reports, Transfer News & General Nonsense. Very close 3-2 win against Leyton Orient which keeps Port Vale in 9th but only 3 points off the playoff spots. Also have a 7 match unbeaten run going . Callejon being an impressive signing with 6 goals and an assist in 4 games.
