  1. Re: Official Arsenal Thread True but I couldn't be sure, never know what to take seriously on this forum at times...
  2. Re: Official Arsenal Thread Podolski is just that sort of player I'm afraid. His lack of work rate and effort at times is appalling no matter where he plays. I guess his one saving grace is that he has one hell of a strike on him and he is very clinical in front of goal. The left wing position definitely needs to be looked at in the near future I think. I don't believe you get the best out of Cazorla there and the likes of Gnabry, Miyachi, Chamberlain etc are too young and inexperienced to play there regularly.
  3. Re: Official Arsenal Thread I don't condone the over the top abuse of Theo but I can understand why some fans get frustrated with him. He still seems to have this 'hit and miss' factor which can often occur several times during a 90mins, let alone a string of games. Today for instance he scored a wonderful goal (created by a piece of magic from Zelalem) but for the rest of the evening his finishing was very erratic and he misplaced a couple of really easy square passes. I think Theo is a very good player who lacks the technical quality we have come to expect of previous Arsenal greats. I do fell however that what he lacks in natural ability he more than makes up for in terms of his output of goals/assists. He is a lot more mature now and makes the right decision more often but he still has that erratic nature to his game which can be frustrating to watch at times. Fans calling for him to be sold is very harsh in my opinion. Yes, you could buy players with more technique and all round ability but you'd find it hard to replace Walcott's productivity, especially as he provides most of this productivity from a wide position.
  4. Re: The Fluffy Ligue 1 Thread Is there any reason as to why Zouma hasn't been featuring regularly for Saint Etienne over the past few months? I only ask because I have him on SM and am concerned that he may not get a good rise in the next review.
  5. Re: Bundesliga Ratings 2012/2013 What are the chances of Subotic rising to 92 in the next review?
  6. Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2012/13 Can we expect Luke Shaw to rise to around 87/88 in the next review if he continues his current form/playing time?
  7. Re: Brazil Série A Rating Predictions Forgive my ignorance as I dont watch any Brazilian football, but does Neymar have a chance of going to 92 in the next review (whenever that may be)?
  8. Re: Official Arsenal Thread I see the non Arsenal fans are posting their clever remarks again. Typical behaviour of teenagers.
  9. Re: Official Arsenal Thread Oh i completely agree, *cough* Gazidis *cough*. I was just irked at how Dancpoli implied that we Arsenal fans only care about our club making profits; which is completely false and a bit of an insult.
  10. Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2012/13 So no rises for Ramires, Yaya or Kompany. I don't even know what to say anymore...
  11. Re: Official Arsenal Thread In terms of ability/effectiveness and importance on the pitch: 1. Wilshere 2. Cazorla 3. Walcott 4. Arteta 5. Szczesny

  13. Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2012/13 I understand he will continue to rise but thats not the point, he should have got 91 now in this review, not the next one in 6 months time. 91 shouldn't have been a longshot. Gotze got two +2's when his playing time as well as goals and assists we're very questionable. I don't understand your Gerrard/Gotze point. I was pointing out to Mr E that if an SM rating was about longevity, Gerrard wouldn't be rated lower than Gotze.

  15. Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2012/13 I couldnt agree more, epic post (must spread). In my view he HAS got to go +2 to 92 in the next change. Otherwise i may just stop playing this game as Im becoming increasingly dissollutioned with the SM ratings system.
  16. Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2012/13 I agree. 91 should be his max for this review but i still feel thats what he should have been given. Like i said in a previous post, i find it mind boggling (rightly or wrongly) that he is supossedly no better than someone like Thiago for instance.
