  1. Re: Bundesliga Ratings 2012/2013 Agree. I understand that playing for a big team matters because your performing at the highest level, but surely for a youngster minutes are the most important thing when it comes to a rating. I understand talent should come into at well but I still just feel the rising of youngsters is a bit inconsistent for my liking.
  2. Re: Official Arsenal Thread What in 2014 when his contract ends? That'll be fine by me. It's his decision what he does when his contract is up. If he decides to go to PSG then good luck to him. He'll leave as the clubs greatest ever manager and will always be a legendary manager in my eyes. EDIT: Of course this is all hypothetical considering he might sign a new contract before his current one ends in 2014. Also with making the assumption he'll move to PSG and not just retire.
  3. Re: Official Arsenal Thread Exactly, didn't we actually pull out of negotiations around the time of the Euros when he threw his hissy fits? Cant really accuse a man of being stubborn when we was initially going to sign him. The last thing we need is player's with overinflated egos and poor team spirit. Also in the Euros didn't he walk straight off the pitch (when subbed) without acknowledging Giroud? Unbelievable. Yes, we all want players who will give 100% week in week out. If fans see players trying hard they will get all of our support. But you do need players who are prepared to work for the team, Wilshere is a shining example of this. More players with as much heart as him, we'll be fine. Players like M'vila ain't going to help in that department.
  4. Re: Official Arsenal Thread I wouldn't really say that I don't want him but I'm not too bothered if we get him or not. Better to state your opinion now though before all the anti-Arsenal lot accuse us of being bitter if/when he joins United...

  6. Re: Official Arsenal Thread No to absolutely all of that. Just no. The bit bolded just made me lose faith in humanity quite frankly.
  7. Re: Bundesliga Ratings 2012/2013 Cheers for that mate. Must spread.
  8. Re: Bundesliga Ratings 2012/2013 Hi lads, I just wondered what your thoughts are on Ginter of Freiburg and whether or not he is a top prospect? I also wondered whether he is more of a centre back or a defensive midfielder?
  9. Re: Bundesliga Ratings 2012/2013 Alright guys, Am i realistic in thinking both Gotze and Subotic will get a +1 when they complete Dortmund?
  10. Re: Official Arsenal Thread I was bitterly disappointed today but we really were up against it after Koscielny went off and the result from there on was almost inevitable. I have to admit i thought Koscielny's red was harsh on first viewing but having viewed it several times since i think he had to go. Whether you would see that given every week, especially at a stadium like Old Trafford, is a different matter however. But by the letter of the law it was a red card. After his sending off we crumbled a bit and conceded two very sloppy goals. Defending was appauling for both and i thought Szczesny should have done better with Dzeko's goal, you HAVE to hold that if you want to be a world class keeper. I was very pleased with the way we responded in the second half and we showed a bit more fight, but as a team performance on the whole it was still very poor. Wilshere again was our MOTM and showed the fight that us fans would if we was on the pitch, but we need all 11 players to show that same work rate, passion, desire and quality! I thought Kompany's sending off was correct. I rate Kompany very highly and i don't think he meant any malice in the tackle but it was two footed in my opinion and so a red card was almost inevitable. I will admit that 'leveling things up' would have been on Dean's mind but i think by the letter of the law (like Koscielny's) that it was a red card.
