  1. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Hi guys, The following players are avaliable on unmanaged. Can you put these in order of best to buy first? Cheers Antoine Greizmann Nacer Chadli Asier Illaramendi Geoffery Kondogbia Leon Goretzka
  2. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Would you sell Sneijder for Chadli + Goretzka + 10m? I don't play Sneijder at all. Will Chadli and Goretzka get picked regularly by Spurs and Schalke? Thanks.
  3. Re: Official Arsenal Thread Tough draw for us. We should obviously win it and we should definately win the home leg. It is just the away leg I'm concerned about in Turkey, what with the raucous support. What I don't get is how UEFA can put Celtic and some Kazak no hopers in the same section and put all the big teams in another. You'll get the big teams in the Europa League and some minnows in the Champions League. As for this Fernebache getting kicked out rumour, why is this and you say it applies to Schalke too?
  4. Re: Official Arsenal Thread I see that Arsenal target, Bernard, has joined Shakhtar for 25m euros. Lets be honest, that deal is to boost his chances for the World Cup next year. If he moved to Arsenal, he'd be second choice AM behind Cazorla and Dortmund to Reus. At Shakhtar he knows he will play on a regular basis. I am hoepful we can sign someone in this transfer window I think someone we should be looking at is Gustavo of Bayern. He will struggle to get picked over Schweinsteiger, Martinez and even Thiago this season, and our squad needs an out and out DM. Plus, he should get regularly picked, which should boost his World Cup chances, so if he can put that deal in front of his face...! Knowing Arsenal however we will panick buy 5 hours before the window shuts! Anyhow, Champions League playoff draw coming up on Eurosport. I hope we draw Pacos de Ferreria of Portugal or Shakhter Karagandy of Kazakhstan. Most likely Celtic or AC Milan though knowing our luck!
  5. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Hi guys, I have got an option to swap my Van Der Vaart for El Shaaraway. Would you do this? I never use VDV plus El Shaaraway is a great young player. Just wondering if it is a good deal on ratings? Cheers.
  6. Re: Brazil Série A Rating Predictions Vitinho, as he is a regular at Botafogo, and Otavio isn't at Internacional.
  7. Re: French Ligue 1 and 2 Hi Ligue 1 fans, looking for opinions on the following, cheers: 1. Just looking at Monaco's pre season, will Kurzawa be their first choice LB this season, as I can pick him up as a free agent in one of my game worlds? 2. The guy who bought Monaco is an actual genius. With Monaco's low rate of tax combined with the glamorous lifestyle, it automatically will atrract the top players to the team, like Falcao, meaning they could be a real force in Ligue 1 and Europe very soon. Having said that, this has got to be the biggest controversy in world football! I am going to get a bit political now, so appologies! Monaco are a seperate country all together to France, meaning their country and therefore team, obviously will have a different tax rate to the other Ligue 1 teams (a much lower one!) The only other real example I can think of of this sort of thing happening elsewhere in world football is Vancouver Whitecaps (Canadian) in the MLS, who have a lower rate of top tax than USA I believe. Swansea and Cardiff are under British tax laws in the case of the English Premier League. This surely gives Monaco an unfair advantage over the rest of the Ligue 1 teams?! For instance, Falcao could have been offered the exact same deal at PSG, but is automatically inclined to go to Monaco, due to its lower tax rate. What I am saying is, this just gives Monaco more buying power over their rivals. Should the French FA, and even maybe the government, state that Monaco's football team is officially French and not Monacanese (if that is the right word?!) and therefore impose the same rate of tax for all teams in Ligue 1?
  8. Re: Brazilian Football Hi Jim and co- do you know anything on Vitinho? What could he reach on SM? Plus any other youngsters in the league you'd recommend for SM? Cheers.
  9. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Hi guys- got the option to buy Vitinho (Botafogo) for 1.1m on SM. Is this worth it? What can he reach? Cheers
  10. Re: Anything and Everything on SM Development Right, I am probably going to get slaughtered for this, but I will say it anyway. Why don't SM add women footballers, a women's data pack or women's leagues? Here are a few of my reasons: 1. SM's main target market is the USA (hence "soccer" manager). USA has one of the best women's teams in the world and one of the best women's league in the world, so by having a womens' section, it would open up to a market already keen or interested in the game in the USA. 2. The women's game is growing and growing. The 2011 World Cup in Germany was very well attended and there are now many competitive international teams, with the game coming more and more professional. 3. What other women's football games are out there, video game or online game wise?! None. SM could be the first to move into this market and thereby create a monopoly and capitalise on demand that is out there. Why don't SM add a women's data pack, women's leagues or even a "WSM"?! No doubt it isn't as good as spectacle as the mens and isn't as popular, but you can say that about pretty much any sport. Marketed correctly, this isn't a bad market to go into at all.
  11. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Pretty obvious then- cheers chaps. Rep will be sent.
  12. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Diego Milito for Fernando Llorente? I would be getting Llorente.
  13. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Illaramendi 100%. You'd be silly not to, given the price tag, the club he's moved to and the links to Xabi Alonso, etc.
