  1. Riferimento: Need HELP absolutely! 3-5-2 is ONE of the best formations against 4-4-2 and normal 4-3-3 and it would be even better if 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 are unmanaged. the problem is when the unmanaged squad will use 4-5-1 as i told you before. what about settings... Hard, Attacking, Mixed, Mixed, Fast, All over, Play offside trap, Playmaker, Target man If you see that things are getting bad try to change mentality and play-style, for example using : Hard, Defensive, Short, Mixed, Normal, Own Half, Counterattack, Men behind ball, Target man
  2. Riferimento: Counter formations i know i suggested you the obvious ones but there is no shame in that. both of them work very well in the game and perhaps the issue consists in using the right instructions with them. however setting in-game instructions in which you choose a different formation, if you're losing a match, could be a great help to achieve good results and prevent losses for example 4-2-3-1 -> 3-5-2
  3. Riferimento: Counter formations What do you think of this? 4-2-3-1 that SM Match Engine runs very well. I think you have already used it but i don't know which instructions you used with it. I suggest: Hard, Attacking, Short, Mixed, Fast, All Over, Tight Marking, Playmaker (MESSI), Target man (GOMEZ). If you see from Match Reports that you're enjoying less shots than your opponents remove tight marking and use play offside trap. You could also try to select mixed passes instead of short and remove target man using only Messi as PM. Then again if you're losing the match and you want t

  8. Riferimento: Need HELP mmmm against unmanaged sides that could also play 4-5-1 , change formation into a 5-4-1 putting forward arrows on your fullbacks/wingbacks. It would be better to use RB/RM and LB/LM in those positions. use HARD, ATTACKING, SHORT, MIXED, FAST, ALL OVER, COUNTER-ATTACK, MEN BEHIND BALL, TARGET MAN (your CF). against managed sides using 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3 wingers also use a different formation. I would use the 5-4-1 formation i told you above vs the 4-2-3-1 and i would copy the 4-3-3 wingers in the second case selecting a lower level of mentality compared to your opponent.
  9. Riferimento: Tactics for my Arsenal!! with 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-2-1?
  10. Re: Counter formations does your opponent play 3-5-2 like this?
  11. Re: 3-5-2 or 4-2-3-1 i have already told you by PMs. however you should also thank arampage because the idea of using 5-4-1 with arrows is not mine but i borrowed it from him
  12. Re: 3-5-2 4-5-1 4-3-3 wingers 4-2-3-1 are good choices to stop 3-5-2. in my opinion 4-2-3-1 is the best however Benjamin Warrilow discovered that also 4-4-1-1 with arrows could be an effective counter-tactic even if he used it only one time. here is the link: http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=94042
  13. Re: 3-5-2 Counter! http://forum.soccermanager.com/showthread.php?t=94042 read what benjamin barrilow wrote about countering 3-5-2. that's a possibility otherwise you could use 4-2-3-1 and play wide down both flanks, use defensive counterattacking play-style if you're weaker than your opponent playing 3-5-2, and attacking if you're stronger than him if losing the match change your formation into 4-3-3 wingers and press him all around the picth annd give him no time to breathe
  14. Re: Tactical Formation Help! Urgent! sorry. there is only one thing that i would like to know before answering you about formation. i'm presuming the majority of your opponents are unmanaged but are they stronger than you?
  15. Re: Counter formations i will try it out. Thanks Benjamin
