  1. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Stockport are the last Division 4 team standing in the Shield , after Avelar, Neves and Dehn fire the coffee lovers to a 3-0 upset of Hull.
  2. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread It's back to the drawing board for Chester as we tie our last 3 games (over 90 minutes). TBH, Nuneaton were the better side at the Deva, but we maintain an unbeaten record at home. Pritchard was named captain... and got a straight red.
  3. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Actually, I know why we lost. Sulley Ali Muntari here refused to be substituted by a jug of coffee, leading to him joining the transfer list. For just 7,924,000 you can get a defensive/left midfielder!
  4. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread 0-2 loss to Brighton sees us lose our unbeaten record at home. Fulham target Sako was the man doing the damage. Accidentally substituted Lima for Avelar and it cost us. However, we are on an upward trajectory away from home, and we will want to continue this against Shrewsbury. We do better against the good teams anyway.
  5. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread A fact lost on our impressive victory over Arsenal was that we remained winless over 90 minutes away from home. That fact haunted us here in a 1-1 draw against Braintree. No idea how we failed to win, but it seems like we faced John Cena in goal! Outnumbering the opposition on both possession and SOT, the GK saved everything but Zardes, the only visitor who beat him got MOTM. Also have the "convenient" injury of Ryan Williams to deal with. In better news, we've signed the midfield duo of Evans Nyarko and Josh Pritchard. Deliberated over which man to sign, but decided to get both in at the expense of wages. Being an African and playing in Norway respectively, these two should have great understanding with captain Sakor.
  6. Re: EC 26335 - New Forum EC - Teams Available! Hull end the rot with a 1-0 victory over the Saints, used myriad long balls to no effect but when we decided to pass with class, we score. Cambiasso got the winner after my dressing down during the weekend.
  7. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread A Gum goal gives us a 1-0 victory at Burton, have never beaten Burton before this so it's all good.
  8. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread What more to say about this, Shayesteh officially becomes a national hero. Stillo was a boss for the last four games #ThankYouStillo Unlucky to Jkerrs but it's Chester's day.
  9. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN Brighton & Hove Albion available! Signature players Pirlo and Yilmaz!
  10. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Our forwards strike again, Zardes and Williams finishing Cambridge 3-0, after the last Boateng standing opened the scoring. However, another injury occurred, this time to SAKOR, robbing us of our first choice Norwegian connection in central midfield. Now we go on the road to the Emirates.
  11. Re: The MLS (Reality Based GameWorld) Haha this GW has legs' date=' albeit broken ones Good luck to everyone for today's league openers, Dallas face Los Angeles Galaxy Also won the Charity Shield, unlucky Club Tijuana, still better than Mexico at this year's Gold Cup.
  12. Re: EC2933 Discussion Thread- VACANCIES SO JOIN THE FUN The Forest Badasses win their first game under new management against Rotherham. Abbiati in the Rotherham goal was in inspired form, but we capitalized on the defender El Koutari giving away two free kicks. RUIZ opened the scoring and Granero made the points safe.
  13. Re: EC 26335 - New Forum EC - Teams Available! Another 1-2 loss to Gonzodan's Sunderland. We are free falling at this rate, Cambiasso is a liability these days, costing us a win at Tottenham and now a point here with errant tackling.
  14. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Good game, Cassio saves us again as we remain unbeaten at Edgeley Park. Unfortunately our attack disappeared in this contest, playing both Lima and Jo up front certainly didn't work.
