  1. Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings Sorry folks, I have been very busy lately and haven't visited the forum since late August. But not to worry, there are other members here who know Serie A pretty well, and I guess, have been helping out answer the questions asked. I'd try to respond to as much questions as possible, but since I haven't followed a lot of the games as I used to, don't take my opinions as absolute. Outside the typical big clubs; Sampdoria, Palermo, Bari and Parma are really punching above their weight and offer good risers. I'd name the players I consider relatively safe to rise, subject to them keeping their form. Sampdoria Marius STANKEVICIUS, 87 -> 88/89 Daniele MANNINI, 87 -> 88/89 Daniele GASTALDELLO, 87 -> 88/89 Marco ROSSI, 85 -> 87 Andrea POLI, 82 -> 85 Palermo Salvatore SIRIGU, 79 -> 84 Simon KJAER, 87 -> 88 Javier PASTORE, 85 -> 86/87 Bari Jean-Francois GILLET, 85 -> 86/87 Edgar ALVAREZ, 84 -> 86/87 Leonardo BONUCCI, 80 -> 85 Andrea RANOCCHIA, 80 -> 85 (I think before I disappeared, I mentioned him as the defender to look out for. Thankfully, he hasn't disappointed) Massimo DONATI, 86 -> 87 Vitali KUTUZOV, 85 -> 86/87 Salvatore MASIELLO, 84 -> 86 Alessandro GAZZI, 84 -> 86 Paulo BARRETO, 85 -> 86/87 Riccardo ALLEGRETTI, 83 -> 85 Riccardo MEGGIORINI, 83 -> 85 Parma Antonio MIRANTE, 86 -> 87 Daniele GALLOPPA, 87 -> 88 Alessandro LUCARELLI, 86 -> 87 Stefano MORRONE, 86 -> 87 Damiano ZENONI, 86 -> 87 McDonald MARIGA, 85 -> 86 Jonathan BIABIANY, 82 -> 83/84 Paolo CASTELLINI, 86 -> 87 Alberto PALOSCHI, 84 -> 85/86 Cheers and have fun.
  2. Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings He is at Bari now. If he cements his place at Bari' date=' which I think he would, he is set to increase. The number is also based on my opinion that Bari would finish above the relegation zone. A regular for a high positioned Serie B team is around 85+/-, so being in Serie A should mean that would be an acceptable rise. I wouldn't say buy him now, but I do expect him to break into the first team and a rise to 88 seems probable.
  3. Re: Adrian Mutu Don't accept 15m + Muntari or 7m + Diego Milito, make a deal like Santon + Balotelli + cash. Mutu will not drop to 93 for at least 2 to 3 years. Milito will not increase to 94, nor will Muntari increase to 93 (92 is possible).
  4. Re: Aquilani To Liverpool. Napoli rejected an offer of £38m from Inter for Hamsik. De Laurentiis went on to add that the amount would only get his left over trimmed hair from the hairdresser and his nail clippings. Plus, didn't Liverpool supposedly did a very thorough medical on him? If they passed him fit, then the fault lies on the medical team. For now, Sensi and Spalletti must be glad that he somehow passed the medical.
  5. Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings Slim chance but he will not get many games yet. If he becomes a regular' date=' he could be in the low 80s easily. I know nothing of Goian, but with Zenga recommending him, he should be a starter. But he could also turn out to be like Dica, who also was recommended by Zenga, only to fail badly. Both from Steaua Bucuresti, both worked with Zenga before, both Romanian internationals; the similarity is Lastly, Palermo will not get a CL place, I feel a Europa place is as good as it will get for them, which they will just about fail to achieve.
  6. Re: Aquilani To Liverpool. Liverpool is really paying for talent and potential. He could one day prove to be worth that amount or beyond, but at the moment he is not quite there yet. Big gamble in my opinion. The fact that Spalletti would be ready to let him leave says it all. Pizarro and Taddei are 29/30 and Perrotta is 31. Keeping Aquilani and selling the others would make sense, unless Spalletti doesn't think he will ever live up to expectations, which is rumoured to be the reason why Sensi and Spalletti are in complete agreement to cash in on him. Had his good moments for Roma in Serie A and the CL, but was horrendous in all (and I mean ALL) his Azzurri games. Out of depth, bullied off the ball too easily, misplaced passes, lack of conviction.
