  1. Re: New Finances (Loans / Contracts) This is a disaster for those small teams that need to loan their young players out, since it's impossible in SM to increase the stadium capacity and they cannot afford big wage bills. It's either you allow the smaller clubs to increase their incomes through gate receipts or you allow them to lower the operating costs through lowering the wage bill.
  2. Italian and Croatian newspapers (index.hr, corrieredellosport.it) announced that the Croatian talent Luka Muzenjak, 19 years old, left wing-back, playing for Cibalia, agreed a transfer to Italian side Roma. The transfer will be completed next summer, when Croatia will be in the EU and the player will be able to play in Italian Serie A with no limitations. Roma will pay something close to €5mil. Many youngsters have recently been given the opportunity to play in Serie A with Roma achieving great success (such as Marquinhos, Florenzi, Tachtsidis etc.), therefore buying this player now could prove to be a great investment.

  4. Re: Player Concerns (please read the Online Help if looking for help) I don't understand whether they changed the concern system, or only the help section. Does anyone know it? I'd be happy with 90% of what is written in the help section, but it doesn't match at all with what we have seen so far in the game. There, it says that a 89 rated player, in case he's not one of the best XI, will expect to play only 30-40% of the games counting only the league matches. For example: Phil Jones of Man Utd will expect to play only 12-15 matches in a season, between all the competitions. If that were true, it'd be brilliant! It's not what happened so far, though, unless SM really listened to the forum and changed the system.

  7. Re: Player Concerns (please read the Online Help if looking for help) The problem is not just that Wilshire and all the other 89 or above rated players want to play 75%, no matter how many better players are in the team. In those gameworlds where the concerns are hitting (still don't know why it happens just in some of them) I see that every backup becomes concerned. I have loads of examples. As every team in the world in real life, I keep 2 players per role for cups, injuries etc. and now my backups are unhappy regardless of their rating. It could be Neymar 90, being the backup for Messi 99, but even Zambrano 85 behind Subotic 91 is unhappy, or Willems 84 behind Pieters 88. If you are in Division 3, you will have 80 rated players unhappy. And I'm 100% sure that a new customer/manager wouldn't enjoy this new system that allows you only 11 players, either.

  9. Re: Any of these worth keeping For what I know, I would never let go: Alcacer, he seems a great talent, Mbaye, he should make a few appearances for Inter, Gabbiadini, he is in the Italian team for the friendly against England.
  10. Re: Player Concerns (please read the Online Help if looking for help) 20 out of 32 of his highest rated players have concerns and that is not decimated? He has 12 players without concerns, I mean: 12. What does decimated mean: 5 players with no concerns in a 11-a-side football? In this new concern business SM forgot that managed teams need 22 players. I would be more than glad if I could use my best XI for all the matches, but this is just impossible. Championship, cup, shield, SMFA cup: good teams play 3-4 matches every week until the very end of the season and, simply, players cannot play more than 2 games in a row without resting the third game. If we want to enjoy the game and try our best to win a competition, we need 22 decent players. And that's why even starters are now developing concerns: they still play 2/3= 66% of the matches, but not for manager choice. If this is the way concerns are working now, I see only one solution: turn off the condition.
  11. Re: Guess at next leagues to be reviewed? No, he wasn't. His old team, Pescara, have not been reviewed yet, so he was reviewed for his transfer not for having played in Serie B. I really hope they are not starting the Top 5 right now, there are some leagues like Uruguay, Scotland, Serbia and Romania that cannot wait any longer!
  12. Re: Player Concerns (please read the Online Help if looking for help) I have seen many ridiculous things happening after the new concern system was implemented: concerns hit 18-year-old players, 77 rated players, injured players, players who played 25 out of 30 matches etc. Some of them are really annoying me. But I think that SM made a business decision. They looked at their stats and decided to hurt a bit the old customers in order to have a more open game for new customers. I have the feeling that they won't go back because some of their old customers are complaining (or even leaving). I think they'll continue on this path, to see on the long run if the loss in old customers will be balanced by the gain of new customers. That's why it seems like they're not listening or they don't care: they made a business choice and they want to see it through. I really hope I'm wrong. That's also why they're giving away lots of SM credits for free through the achievements: to give something back to the old customers.

  14. Re: Unites states I think that sometimes it's not that your predictions were wrong, but that SM review went wrong. For example, for Chivas, it's a fact that McKenzie was a starter CB and Valencia was on the bench for the whole season, but after the review McKenzie is 78 and Valencia 82. So either SM are saying that Chivas manager is completely incompetent or something didn't go very well in their review. Maybe McKenzie really deserved the 79/80 predicted by Roachy.
