  1. I manage Northhampton Town and I'm trying to bring in Bale and Iniesta but Barca and Madrid keep rejecting my bids. It's happened 3 times in a row now. What causes this to keep happening? I'm 6th in division 2, could that be a factor? Also why do some players refuse to join my team?
  2. Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread One more Clasico spoiled by a Ref. I don't even see the need for Ref's if they INSIST on being so damn incompetent.
  3. Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread If that's a red then Iturraspe should be off as well Idiotic refereeing.
  4. Re: Official Red Devils Thread If certain people ( an Ian McIdiot comes to mind) weren't filling this thread with all the intellectual feces they've gathered over the span of their miserable lives, maybe lurkers like me would be encouraged to contribute more to this thread(and the forum in general). But alas, I will forever be stuck with this "League Two Player" label. Woe is me. Woe is me!
  5. Re: Ronaldo 99? I'm just gonna make some points here on why I think Ronaldo does deserve 99: - Destroyed the two most competitive leagues in the world - Is a winger but still manages to score so much (does tend to play in a striker's role though) - Has proven himself in many big games so far - And has also manages to keep up with Messi despite having worse teammates (No body on this forum can convince me that Alonso,Ozil and Di Maria were even close to the trio of Fabregas,Xavi and Iniesta. Probably the best midfield in the past 6-8 years!) Also one thing about Messi: He's been playing with Barca his whole life. He knows the playing styles of his team-mates like the back of his hand. He's played against all the teams in the BBVA so many times. It would be a disgrace on his part if he wasn't breaking all those records because he's had everything handed to him on a silver platter! The best Teammates in the world, one of the best coaches in the world, growth hormones! He was already extremely gifted so add in all those factors and you get an untouchable goal scoring machine. I respect Ronaldo more because he had to actually work VERY HARD to reach where he is. His talent comes from hard work and dedication. I'm not saying Messi just got up one day and just decided to become an amazing footballer, but you can go check the facts for yourself about how dedicated Ronaldo was when he was younger. But that's just my two cents really. Both are amazing. Messi can do things Ronaldo can't and Ronaldo can do things Messi can't. But to say Ronaldo can't get 99 JUST BECAUSE MESSI IS 99 is just plain biased.
  6. Re: Official Red Devils Thread A career that will never be matched by any City player. At least not in his lifetime.
  7. Re: The Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread The 2nd coming of QPR?
  8. Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread If Cristiano does not win it this year, he's not winning it ever again. When he scores more, he didnt win anything. When he wins a trophy, he didnt score enough. Excuses...
  9. Re: Official Spanish La Liga Discussion Thread How the hell did Morata miss that...
  10. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Well. That escalated quickly.
  11. Re: What are your thoughts on Moyes? Where is the "give him a cookie" choice?! How on earth is he supposed to win matches without cookies?! Are you people mad??
  12. Is this a football management game or social network? I leave for a year and come back to freaking Facebook 2.0. What the hell caused this?
  13. Re: Official Arsenal Thread With your optimistic attitude, I'd say next Thursday, at 10:33 AM.
  14. Re: Official Arsenal Thread Still can't believe it.
  15. Re: Official Red Devils Thread As long as Rooney and RVP are on the field together, I'm a happy panda.
  16. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Isn't Kag more effective on the right, rather than the left?
  17. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Valencia can defend. I've seen him track back many times, with good effect and still manage to get forward well. Nani is very iffy in a role like that, I agree. Maybe the talismanic Welbeck instead?
  18. Re: Official Red Devils Thread That formation's cons outweigh the pros. It's too defensive for most of United's opposition. No one in United's team is a true wing back. Midfield would get battered, Carrick's major weakness is that he cannot keep the ball while under pressure. However it'd be nice to see Kagawa and Rooney play in their best positions. Might work against stronger teams but they'd lack against weaker teams. A 4-3-1-2 would be better imo.
  19. Re: Official Arsenal Thread Same here. I really dislike international breaks
  20. Re: Official Red Devils Thread Welp, no more titles for maybe 3 or so years then lads? All the "top teams" have a better midfield than United. Or is it too early still?
  21. Re: The Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread Hmph.Spurs fans don't seem too happy right now. I wonder why.
