  1. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... My Oliver Torres + Lestienne + Tielemans and cash for Lucas Moura what do you reckon? Cash has limited use and Moura is starting quality for my team currently. I think he can become a phenomenal player still but I know he's had difficulties since moving to PSG. I thought the 3 i'm giving are very bright talents but none would play for me until they reached 89+ and i'm wary of predicting future ratings for low rated youth.
  2. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I agree with Hyina, Guerilla and jkerrs here. Isco is a fantastic talent, as is Draxler...but Messi is already considered one of the greatest EVER. He is a truly special talent and none of the guys you give will probably get near him. The fact you have cover and you would be weakening a rival makes it even better for you.
  3. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I've got a friend in a gameworld who has a potential deal lined up here which he is having 2nd thoughts on. I have let him know what i think but I wanted to see whether or not people agreed with me: Note: Bear in mind he has Cavani, Aguero, Balotelli as well up front and Busquets, Fabregas, Wilshere, Pogba, Maher as other CM options. He lacks out wide comparatively with Eden Hazard his only other true winger. This is an amalgamation of a few deals which are all interlinked, but the result comes to: He gives: Van Persie + Alonso + Verratti + Neymar + Bale + Januzaj He gets: Messi + Iniesta + Di Maria + (potentially Bernard) + Timo Werner/Monteiro Otavio + Jeroen Lumu
  4. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Aubameyang' date=' his club situation will allow him to rise higher currently I think. 1. Hazard 2. Lestienne 3. Batshuayi 4. Ucan 5. Otavio 6. Mario 7. Lumu 8. Schrijvers It is really tough to say for peak rating when some are really untested compared to others. Ultimately based on current form, achievements to this date and general probability i'd have to rank them like that, although things could change in the not too distant future.
  5. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I'd keep Nastasic. I am a big fan of Vertonghen but potential wise I feel the Serbian has the upper hand here definitely. A difficult one, I feel that Bakkali surpasses either of the duo as a stand alone talent. His rise through the Belgian youth sides has been very impressive, and he has already received call ups to the senior national side. I think when he is fully recovered from his injury he can become a key player for PSV, he showed signs with his performances preseason and in the CL qualifiers/early Eredivisie games such as THAT hattrick. That said Meyer is a very nice talent as well. Recognised as one of the leading German talents for his age, he won the Fritz Walter medal in silver last season, only behind the gold of Goretzka who is another fantastic young player. Despite only just turning 18 he has been getting minutes at Schalke and scored a very nice goal in the cup recently. Dongou has had a very good scoring record for the youth sides of Barcelona and was impressive pre season. He has a lot of competition though and I can see him remaining in the Barca B side for another season or two before he makes a serious go at breaking into the first team. For this reason I see him rising perhaps more slowly than the other two in the short to mid term future. I would rank them like this: 1. Bakkali 2. Meyer 3. Dongou All in all I would probably take the duo, 2+3>1 here I think when you factor in risk of injuries, failure to fulfil potential etc Part of me would still be tempted by Bakkali because I think he has the rarer skill set and the best chance to really explode onto the scene for PSV and Belgium with the world cup only a season away. Meyer will take longer to have an impact for Germany and although I think he has the potential to get there, he will have very stiff competition and there is an almighty journey which he has barely begun yet In that respect. So overall i'd go for the duo unless you are feeling like taking a gamble.
  6. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I see little of these three play at the moment, how would you rank them? Marco Verratti Geoffrey Kondogbia Marco Van Ginkel Thanks.
  7. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... The duo by some distance for me. Lahm by far for me.
  8. Re: El shaarawy There certainly has been a change in harshness of review since I started playing over 3 years ago. It used to be harder to get 90/91/92 I think, well for young players anyway. There are quite a few rises I wouldn't have expected to happen with the old system in place: Wilshere, Lamela were fine at 90 I think, no need to rise so fast when they have plenty of time to prove themselves and rise further. El Shaar was strange I agree given the difference in goalscoring form in the second and first halves of the season. 89 was fine for him I think. Lewandowski I thought was nailed on for 93, Gotze I think should have gone to 93 in two jumps of +1 rather than the +2 he got all in one albeit a little while ago now. Neymar I think has earned 91 by old standards not 92. That said, when I joined I remember there were an awful lot more players on very high ratings: Ronaldo, Messi 98s Gerrard, Xavi, Kaka 97s Torres, Ibrahimovic, Drogba, Eto'o, Vidic, Puyol, Villa, Rooney, Iniesta, Casillas, Buffon were all 96s There were plenty of other players who have since come down from 93/4/5 as well and those such as Terry and Lampard who held 95 and I think previously 96 before I had joined when they had not even been particularly successful in the champions league or international stage compared to what we would class as 96 worthy by current standards. They both had them from domestic success primarily. so at least 16 96+ rated compared with the current 6 So in that sense I think they are raising the general rating level after so many high rated players suddenly dropped away quickly and weren't replaced. It is up for debate I suppose whether the current players are as good as their predecessors but in a game of relative ratings it makes sense to try to keep the numbers of high rated players similar. I'm not justifying the recent rapid rises, because I've been as sceptical as anyone that many of them didn't seem deserved compared with rising patterns from years ago. However I think it must be accepted that with the rapid decline of many of the games once elite rated players they are preparing the next group who will eventually hold those ratings. Lewandowski, Cavani, Falcao seemed to shoot to 94 compared to the way I was used to it happening, but that is perhaps because they now are what Villa, Torres, Eto'o, Drogba once were; Internationally recognised as the best in their position in the world. Whereas before the top rated players were in such abundance it took longer for emerging stars to earn big rating increases, now a lot of the emerged are in fact the best. I wouldn't be shocked to see a bigger group of 95/6+ over the next few years or so develop once again (if the game is still going), because there are an awful lot primed to make the jump if they can establish themselves as worthy (i'm thinking Reus, Gotze, Neymar, Ozil, Wilshere, Oscar, Hazard, Alaba, Hummels, Varane etc type players and others rated mid to low 90s who may make the jump.) I don't think it's necessarily right to 'prime' these highly (perhaps deservedly) hyped players to reach high ratings by rising them fast early but it seems that is how things are going to be done. Also the fact that some of these guys have developed into household names so quickly probably gave SM reviewers a little headache, maybe they felt they had to rise them fast to keep up if they were quickly becoming stars for big clubs in a short space of time. 90/91 used to be a very high rating for young players...but not a very high rating in general. Now there are far more 90+ U21 players but many of them are already regulars for big clubs and their national sides so I don't feel I can complain particularly when the more established senior stars are still above them rating wise and remain that way until the younger players have proven over a longer period of time than they currently have of their ability. Just something to consider in the bigger picture, on the smaller scale there are a lot of apparent inconsistencies but I think we just have to try to embrace what happens unless it is truly outrageous (and I think very little I have seen ever really fits into that category maybe e.g. someone getting a +5 from 90-95 in one change over half a season XD) and accept things have changed a fair amount from what they used to be. Although to be fair I wasn't there when the game started so I don't have the entire picture either and also I don't have hard evidence on the statistics beyond memories of previous ratings for certain players and their rising/dropping patterns since. Also I think Pogba will get a rise in the next few days, 89 I would predict probably by the way they are doing things at the moment.
  9. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Busquets is one of the best players to have on the game. Young, solid at his rating and versatile. If you need depth then there is an argument for taking the duo but if the duo don't even make your starting XI/if you need a defensive midfielder then Busquets for sure imo.
  10. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I'd keep Kondogbia. I think Modric is the better player. Higuain has to be for me. The duo' date=' as much as I rate Ozil. Tricky one, Tello is more established but I'd lean towards the duo. Doria seems a good talent who could move to Europe and rise a fair bit more, Oliver Torres is a very promising young player as well.
  11. Re: Riferimento: Help With Deal(s) Thread...
  12. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Definitely De Gea for me. The main reasons have already been stated by others here but it boils down to him being a safer option I think.
  13. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... El Shaarawy deal is almost sorted. Just got a couple of decisions to make which i'm having difficulty with. I need to decide which two youth to give from these: Gabriel Barbosa or Timo Werner? Adnan Januzaj or Zakaria Bakkali? It has to be one of each Opinions appreciated thanks
  14. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... The duo for me without a doubt. 1. Cavani 2. The duo 3. The duo again
  15. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I would take Modric. I really rate him, quality player. I like Khedira too but Modric is the main man for his national side and already has the rating advantage so i'd go for him every time.
  16. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Well I admit defeat, well done hanging onto Draxler Use him well My next question, would people give those same 4 Wijnaldum + Locadia + Bakkali + Januzaj + 7.5 mil for El Shaarawy given he would be a starter and none of these are currently? This is related to my earlier question i'm sure those who saw might have guessed.
  17. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I'd do that in a flash unless you aren't planning on staying more than another year on the game.
  18. Re: Riferimento: Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Thanks, 5-0 El Shaar, definitely going for him first then.
  19. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Thanks guys, pretty unanimous there then. I'm trying to get both but I think i'll have to make a decision for one or the other the way things are looking. I'll definitely go for El Shaarawy if it comes to that.
  20. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Mata and the duo I'd prefer. I'd go for Navas probably.
  21. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... El Shaarawy or Lucas Moura? Purely on potential I suppose, but what do people expect they can achieve in the next 1 year, 2 years. Thanks.
  22. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Benteke or Negredo? Negredo is my best striker but I plan to stay with this team for the foreseeable future.
