    Re: Serie A Rating Predictions
Andreolli comes after Samuel, Ranocchia, Campagnaro and Juan Jesus, like previously stated he'll be a bench player. But he's a very good defender, Inter needed depth in defense and Andreolli is definitely a great replacement. He might get to 88 if he gets some minutes during the season but I don't expect anything more

Congratulations for killing small teams hopes of building decent teams. There's no way now a 5th Div. team can have any hope of building something decent from the ground up. You're slowly killing the game itself, as that was one of the best things of the game. And on top of that, there's no way you can improve your cash flow with, for example, add seats to the stadium, so people will run away from small clubs as they will get stalled with absolutely no options to improve. Good job!!

Do you know about AZ's season? Esteban is fine at 86. Velthuizen hasn't had a rating change in ages, should imo get +2 as he's been pretty good this season and Vitesse have done well.

Yep avoid him....much better options out there IMO.
Nver bought into the misplaced hype surrounding him, for me he is a fairly avaerage player.

What are you talking about? Hernandez Creus is the last name, Xavier is the first name, it's NOT the same thing.
And you have XAVI as part of XAVIer already in the name. What's next, Ronaldo RONALDINHO, Neymar NEYMAR, Francisco ISCO, Marcelo MARCELO, Pedro PEDRO?

He's garbage, trade him if you can. He's 26, and this year showed pretty clearly he will never be able to make a difference in a big time team. He'll be good for Parma and that kind of teams, but nothing more than that. I wonder what Duncan saw in him to actually say he'll rise to 91 lol

Who is the genius that changed the name of Xavi from Hernandez Xavi to XAVIER XAVI? How in the world did it get approved?

First of all I know the deal it's done. 13mil+one or two youngsters in joint ownership (Duncan and Bardi as of now)

Very likely, might actually get a +3 at season end if he keeps performing well. He's already an Inter player (will be the starter next season) and he will called up to either Italy or Argentina NT soon (his preference is for Argentina, but imo he might have better chances choosing to play for Italy)

Interesting question. It's always hard to rate a gk as it really depends massively on which team they play for. Valdes is an average gk that gets mentioned in these kind of talks only because he plays for Barça. In Spain there are far better keepers than him, such as Andres of Osasuna to mention one. When you play for a big team focus plays a huge role as you may get 1 shot on goal for the whole game, and you have to be ready to save it, and if you f*ck up you look like ****, while if you play for a small team that gets hundreds of shots per game and you concede only one you look like a god.
It's really tricky when it comes to tell "who's the best", and all the names mentioned so far are up there. I honestly don't think there's a "Messi" of the role (Buffon was by far the Messi of gk's until recently, now age and injuries put him down to the "humans" level), there's a bunch of awesome keepers such as all the ones already mentioned that perform at world class level with few mistakes here and there.
One keeper that wasn't mentioned tho and I particularly care about including in this category is Inter's Handanovic, he's an insanely good goalkeeper, cold as an ice cube and very very good in every aspect of goalkeeping. He reminds of the best Toldo, if you'd ask me a fair comparison with someone from the past, and to be honest he might be a little better when it comes to coming out of the line to intercept crosses, which Toldo had a little struggle with sometimes.
Wow I went way far off topic but I hope I gave an interesting point on the goalkeepers question

Callum Reilly is another to keep an eye on, 15 games for Birmingham this season and he's already under the radar of many Premier League clubs.
