    BLACKPOOL WHO'S WHO

Blackpool Football Club this afternoon published a Who's who of the club for this season:
Paul Rachubka (Goalkeeper): Began his career in Europe, signing as a youngster for Manchester United. He only made one first-team appearance in his two years at the club. During his time there, Rachubka was loaned out to Manchester United's Belgian feeder club, Royal Antwerp and to lower-division English team Oldham Athletic. Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson was willing to sell him, and when Charlton Athletic bid £200,000 it proved too good to turn down for a player who was essentially an untested goalkeeper. Whilst at Charlton, Rachubka was loaned out to a number of clubs including Burnley, Huddersfield Town and Northampton Town. After his contract expired with the London club, Rachubka took the option to re-sign for one of his old clubs, Huddersfield Town, in 2004. Rachubka was the first-choice goalkeeper at the Galpharm Stadium until Matt Glennon was signed during summer 2006 and seized his chance.
Rachubka was taken on loan to Peterborough United as cover for Mark Tyler and played four League Two matches over the Christmas/New Year period of 2006-07. On January 31, 2007, he went on loan to Blackpool as back-up for Rhys Evans, the ninth loan move of his career. He made his debut for Blackpool on February 27, 2007 and kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win at Oldham Athletic. On June 5, 2007, five days after his contract at Huddersfield expired, Blackpool signed him on a permanent two-year deal at Bloomfield Road.
Wes Hoolahan (Midfielder): started his career at Shelbourne where he won three League of Ireland championships and excelled during their run in the Champions League qualifiers in the 2004-05 season. He was the PFAI Young Player of the Year in the 2002-03 season.
On 21 July 2006, Hoolahan joined Blackpool on a season-long loan. He scored his first goal for the club on 30 September 2006, a penalty in a 3-0 win over Leyton Orient at Bloomfield Road. On 15 December 2006, he scored a goal and was sent off in a 3-1 win at Shorpe.
In June 2007, Hoolahan signed a two-year contract with Blackpool. Livingston, however, refused to sign the documentation sanctioning the move, stating that Blackpool had repeatedly breached the terms of the loan agreement. Blackpool denied any such default, and referred the matter to the Football Association.
Ivan Klasnić (Striker): He started his professional career playing for local side St. Pauli and impressed as a striker in the three and half seasons he played for the club in the Second Bundesliga since becoming a professional in January 1998. Prior to his spell at St. Pauli, he has played for less known amateur sides Union 03 Hamburg and TSV Stellingen.
After helping St. Pauli to gain promotion to the first division with 10 goals scored for the club in the second division during the 2000-01 season, he made the switch to Werder Bremen in the summer of 2001 and finally made his mark in the first team in 2003 with some powerful performances in the Bundesliga. His first two seasons at the club had been marked by erratic form (he scored only three goals in 36 Bundesliga appearances) and two serious knee injuries, but he laid old ghosts to rest as he emerged a key figure in Werder Bremen's march to the Bundesliga title in the 2003-04 season, when he also won the German Cup with the club. He scored 13 goals and made another 11 for his Brazilian strike partner Ailton. His expiring contract caused a scramble for his signature at the beginning of the year before he eventually decided to stay at Bremen.
Klasnić turned down an invitation from Rudi Völler to play for Germany. He also turned down an invitation from Blaž Slišković to play for Bosnia and Herzegovina and chose to play for Croatia instead as he already won three caps and scored one goal for their under-21 team in the spring of 2001. He also played five times and scored one goal for the Croatian under-19 team in 1998 and 1999. By a quirk of fate, his international debut came against Germany in February 2004 in a friendly match where the Germans claimed a 2-1 victory.
He was selected to play for Croatia in the 2004 European Football Championship. However, he was left on the substitutes bench throughout the tournament. Croatia did not advance past the group stage and the media often attributed that to the lack of inclusion of Klasnić, among other things.
Participating in the 2004-05 UEFA Champions League season, Klasnić scored 5 goals in the two group matches against Belgian side RSC Anderlecht, including a hat-trick in the 5-1 home victory for Werder Bremen, helping the team to advance to the first knock-out stage of the competition before losing to strong French side Olympique Lyonnais, who crushed them 10-2 on aggregate.
In March 2008, Klasnić joined Blackpool Football Club on loan and is expected to be their star player this season.
Vidar Riseth (Midfielder): currently plays for Blackpool F.C, which he signed a three year contract for in March 2008.
Riseth has previously played for Neset F.K., Kongsvinger, Luton, LASK Linz, Celtic, 1860 München and Rosenborg BK. He has been capped 51 times for the Norwegian national team, scoring 4 goals, and played for his country at the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000.
Sam Wainwright (Manager): The Manager at Blackpool after spells at: Ipswich, Everton, Benfica, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Rosenborg and Aston Villa. Has a total of 22 Honours including Meditteranian cup winners cup and Best of British F.A Cup.
Gabriel Batistuta (Assistant Manager): Has a list of honours as a football player for Fiorentina and AS Roma * First Division (Serie A) Italian Championship (with A.S. Roma) 2000-2001.

Italian Supercup (with ACF Fiorentina) 1996, (with A.S. Roma) 2001
Argentine Football Writers' Footballer of the Year 1998.
Italian Cup (with [[ACF Fiorentina]) 1995-1996.
Second Division (Serie Italian Championship (with Fiorentina) 1993-1994.
First Division Top Scorer, 26 goals (with Fiorentina) 1994-1995
Copa América (with Argentina) 1991, 1993
Copa América Top Scorer, 6 goals (with Argentina) 1991
Top Scorer of The Qatari League with a record breaking 24 goals.
Top Scorer in all Arab leagues, awarded with a Golden Boot.
Gabriel Batistuta also set a new Serie A record by scoring in 11 consecutive Serie A games

    BLACKPOOL F.C

Early saturday morning saw Blackpool Football Club appoint new manager Sam Wainwright.
Wainwright has taken over from the unsuccessful Simon Grayson. Wainwright, who has had successful careers at the likes of, Chelsea, Benfica, Everton, Liverpool and Marseille said: "Hopefully we can bring silverware back to Bloomfield road and I would like to be the man to do that, I think with the team we have now we may just miss out, but we have approached a few teams and made some bids and that will interesting to find out if our squad gets strengthened."
Blackpool Chairman Karl Oyston is said to have been delighted of the appointment of Wainwright and claimed: "It's a great move and I'm glad he accepted our challenge, he is a fantastic bloke and hopefully he can get us up there with the big boys."
Oyston added: "We have given Sam a £10,000,000 transfer kitty to bring in the players he feels will strengthen the team and get us promoted. We have discussed a few players we would like and hope they will go through."
Sam's first game in charge will be at home to Plymouth Argyle. Blackpool will be looking to pick up their first points of the season here and will be looking to go on from there.
    TRANSFER TALK
Blackpool's first move on the transfer front was a loan bid for Werder Bremen's Ivan Klasnić. The initial loan bid was rejected by Bremen manager Mitu "Pocoyo" Ahmed, but with a twist of the arm the two managers came to a deal. The clause in Klasnić's contract states: "If Blackpool Football Club wish to sign Ivan Klasnić at the end of his Loan spell then they can do so for the price he is valued at."
Klasnić has said: "I always wanted to play in England and now here is my chance, I hear Blackpool are a huge team in England who can beat Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton easily."

    Stinky...Klasnić wants whiff of England.

Blackpool's second signing and their first buy was Lillestrøm SK Midfielder Vidar Riseth. The transfer is said to have cost the Tangerines around £1,900,000. Wainwright has said: "He is an experienced player that I felt we needed to give us that bit of experience to push for the Premiership and I'm sure he will do that."
The 3rd signing was Deportivo Alavés striker Sánchez Rául. The star is said to have cost Blackpool £2,500,000.
Sánchez said: "Quise venir a Inglaterra y lo sentía fue tiempo de mover en, espero jugando al fútbol y espero que podamos hacer bien"
Which roughly translates into: "I wanted to come to England and felt it was time to move on, I look forward to playing football and hope we can do well."
4th signing Sanz Juan Carlos joined from Albacete for a total of £3,000,000. Chairman Karl Oystor said: "It's a good signing and really hope he performs well this season I will be watching."
The final signing as of yet was Grimsby Town's wonderkid Andy Taylor. He signed for a fee of £30,000. The young Englishman said: "I always wanted to play in the Championship and now heres my chance, I cannot wait to play for Blackpool my dream has finally come true."

Blackpool, Osasuna, Hibernian, St Mirren, Siena, Hull City, Darlington and Avellino are in a Loan war for Real Madrid's Marco Caceres.
Blackpool are chasing Tottenham Hotspur's £3,000,000 rated Center back Ricardo Rocha.
The Tangerines are closing in on Udinese Right Back Riccardo Colombo.
Blackpool are also looking to capture Juventus Midfielder Momo Sissoko on loan for the season.

    .:SEVILLA NEWS:.

Sevilla unveiled new manager Sam Wainwright at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Wednesday night, and he has fit in nicely with the new regime.
Wainwright joined on a contract of 2 years which will see him earn £4,000,000 a year.
Wainwright told SMSport: "I'm delighted to be here and cannot wait to see what I can bring to this team of superstars."
Since Wainwright took over, he has spent around £25,000,000 and has already got 3 points under his belt.

    .:TRANSFER NEWS:.

Sevilla have been busy in the transfer market, signing 7 players in the past 4 days.
The first to join were Benjamin Tembe from FC Brussels and Niguez Aaron from Valencia for a combined fee of around £625,000.
The two are likely to be in the youth team and developed into first team players within the year.
Wainwright explained: "A few players have been bought in for the future, a lot of managers are starting to do this now and it is in my best interest to sign future superstars and turn them into budding players."
The second two to join the club were Ramos Edson of AEK Athens and Nicola Belmonté of Bari for a combined fee of £4,125,000.
Once again players being devoloped for the future and will be turned into first teamers later in the season.
Sevilla's 5th signing of the season was Swedish hotshot Johan Elmander of Toulouse for a fee of £13,000,000.
Elmander has proved to be Sevilla's most expensive signing of the season so far and Sam Wainwright told SMSport: "This guy is really ready for a big team and we hope we've offered that to him as he seems to be fitting in extremely well."
Elmander said: "It is a dream to join a bigger club and i'm very happy Sevilla wanted me and now I have to fend off competition from Freddie Kanouté and Kerzhakov, It sounds worse having to fend off players for your position, but when your up against world class players for a place in the team, it makes you feel special."

Not Much Toulouse...Elmander in his Toulouse Days

The final two players to join Sevilla as of yet were Goalkeeper Itamar Nitzan of Maccabi Herzliya and Argentinian whizzkid Ángel Di Maria of Benfica who is said to have cost £6,600,000 between them.
Wainwright said: "Only Elmander will be a first teamer as the rest of the signing's will be developed into first team hotshots this season."
Sevilla are eyeing up a double swoop for Atlético Madrid stars Nuno Maniche and Sabrosa Simao this week and expect they can get the two for under £30,000,000.
Maniche and Simao have both been transfer listed by Atlético Madrid's coach Mark Farine who is a good friend of Sam Wainwright's. Sevilla are expected to make the bids before this wednesday and will hope to get their way.

    .:SEVILLA VS. BARCELONA:.
    3-1

Sevilla got their campaign under way with an emphatic win against Barcelona at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán last night.
The first action came in the 5th minute when Barca new boy Diego Forlan was tripped in the penalty area, the referee looked at it and shook his head, a flustered Forlan roared at the referee.
Dirnei Renato nearly broke the deadlock for Sevilla in the 7th minute when he smashed a cracking left foot shot towards the bottom corner only for Valdes to get his fingers to it.
For the second time in 10 minutes, Gianluca Zambrotta goes down in the penalty area, the referee looked at the Linesman but no penalty.
Breakthrough came for Sevilla in the 12th minute when striker Aleksandr Kerzhakov heads the ball into the net after a perfect cross from Jesus Navas.
Barcelona almost replied instantly with a brilliant shot from Eto'o only for De Sanctis to dive to his left and pull of a fine save.
Barcelona's second chance in two minutes fell to Zambrotta who shot agonizingly wide.
It was Sevilla again who capitalised when Navas crossed again for Kanouté to volley it into an almost empty net with the keeper in no mans land.
Barcelona were almost through again when a cross from Samuel Eto'o thunders across the mouth of the goal.
Sevilla strike again in the 18th minute and Aleksandr Kerzakhov gets his second of the game who drills it into the bottom right corner and Valdes was helpless.
Barcelona had another chance when a scramble in the box forces Christian Poulsen to clear the ball, but the ball falls to Iniesta who crosses and Robbie Keane heads towards the goal, only to be cleared off the line by Kerzhakov.
A superb piece of play when Eto'o receives a back heel and races down the flank and shoots only to be denied by a super save by De Sanctis.
The resulting corner is a good one when Iniesta gets his head to it but an easy save for De Sanctis.
Sevilla have a chance on the stroke of half time and Adriano crosses it but its far too deep.
    Half Time Analysis:
Sevilla have been superb but it seems only a matter of time before Barcelona get a goal back. Kerzhakov has been phenominal up front and defending today and Sevilla will be looking to him again in the second half.
    Second Half:
Barcelona start the second half with a brilliant attack and Iniesta unleashes a shot from 30 yards and once again De Sanctis tips it around the post for a corner. The corner is short and it falls to Eto'o but a fantastic tackle from Adriano gets Sevilla the ball back who hoof's it up the pitch.
One of the best chances of the game goes begging when Kanouté half volley's it at a tight angle straight at the keeper and Poulsen follows up but is denied by the crossbar.
Xavi beats 3 defenders in a sublime piece of play but falls sidewards on the shot and it goes well wide.
A great cross from Iniesta falls to Henry who will surely score but has hit it straight at De Sanctis and now the Barcelona fans are beginning to get unsettled.
Iniesta pulls off another brilliant long effort from 25 yards but yet again De Sanctis pulls off a wonder save.
Another fantastic chance falls for Kerzhakov when Poulsen lobs the keeper only for Kerzhakov to blaze it over the bar! no wonder he is looking at the ground.
As the defenders scramble around Robbie Keane hits it but is denied by the post when Xavi follows up and finally Barcelona score! but surely a consolation goal.
Sevilla could've been 4-1 up when a beautiful move from Adriano hits the crossbar with a cheeky lob.
Deco manages to find himself in yards of space but smashes it well over the bar.
Seconds later Henry makes a superb shot towards the bottom right corner, but De Sanctis pulls off a phenominal save. One for the camera's.
Barcelona's last move of the match is when Iniesta dribbles round the penalty area as Javi Navarro lunges in wins the ball and boots it up the field and the final whistle goes!

    Kerzhakoviously Brilliant... Kerzhakov's double ensure's 3 points.

    Aftermath:
Barcelona were outplayed however unfortunate tonight with a great double from Aleksandr Kerzhakov.
Sevilla start off with a great 3 points and will look to beat Chelsea on Wednesday after a great win over one of the best teams in the world.
Barcelona travel to bottom of the league Lyon in midweek and will be looking for 3 points after a dismal debut for manager Hugo Rubio. Barcé lack fire power without Messi but should pull off a win
    My Prediction: Barcelona 4-0 Lyon
Sevilla have found a new scoring machine in Aleksandr Kerzhakov and we may even see a debut for Johan Elmander. After Chelsea's one nil loss last night they are in 14th and not looking confident.
    My Prediction: Chelsea 0-2 Sevilla.

    The Seagulls News

    Kevs League Division 2 - Bohemians v Bray Wanderers (Attendance - 9716)
A footballing spectacle was to behold at Dalymount last night, the home of Bohemians. It was a game that left many people questioning their purpose in life after watching what could go down as being one of the games of the season. We can definitely say that this was attacking football being played and nowhere near defensive as an astonishing 9 goals where scored by the 2 sides, 2/3 of which by the away team. The outcome of this game was so unbelievable that it left the Bray Wanderers manager almost speechless in the after match interview.
Bauer brought in 11 new faces from the previous away cup win on Tuesday with starts for, just to name a few, Stephen McPhee, brought in from Blackpool, young midfielder Jonathon Howson from Leeds United and the experienced 39 year old Ivan Del Prato who arrived from promotion chasing Italian Serie B side, Albinoleffe.
The game, due to kick-off at 8pm, was delayed for around 15 minutes because someone had parked their car infront of the Bohemians pie stand, much to the bemusement of the home supporters. The culprit was later found out to be no other than Brays very own Jonathon Grounds who presumed, 2 hours before kick-off, that he could park his Lada on a reserved spot due to him being a player. He was later fined £60 and given 3 penalty points on his licence.
So, later than scheduled the match got underway and from the off it was obvious there'd be goals in this one. 4 minutes were on the clock when Brays Ziegner (77) found some space 15 yards out and attempted to lob Casilla, only to see his attempt rebound off the bar and the ball hacked away. 2 minutes later Howson (76) put a diving header from an early Van Loo (77) cross just past the near post.
It was Bohemians who capitalised on their chances first though as a long range effort from O'Donnell was only parried by Mignolet (76) in to the path of McGuinness who'd stayed in the box from a previous corner. He easily toe-poked the ball in to the net from all of 2 yards. This didn't effect the Bray players as they continued to press on for a now equalising goal. McPhee (77) thought he was in on goal on 22 minutes only for the linesman to flag him up for offside, the decision being a correct one. A minute later Del Prato (83) found himself in space 25 yards out and let rip with a dipping drive that had the Bohemian keeper scrambling but his shot hit the top of the bar and squirmed out of play.
It wasn't long before this pressure paid off but it wont be a goal Casilla will want to see again. McPhee picked up the ball some 30 yards out and saw that the keeper was off his line. The hit from McPhee was definitely not the best you'll ever see but somehow Casilla managed to spill the ball through his legs and into the net. A calamitous goal but one that proved costly for Bohemians. On 35 minutes it was 2-1 to the away side and this time it was definitely a goal many would want to see again. Zeigner found a pass from Howson in an advanced position and saw Van Loo running up from the right wing. His square pass was played to perfection and Van Loo hit the ball first time like an arrow straight in to the bottom right corner. Both teams had chances to score before half-time with Brays coming close again as, for the third time in the half, they hit the woodwork. Traore (77) put his diving header goal bound from a corner and it looked in all the way only for the slightest of touches off a Bohemian defenders thigh on the line. At the other end Mignolet had to be alert to make a fantastic stop from Balotelli's powerful drive. Pats on the back from his defence.
The half-time whistle blew and the score at this point could and maybe should have been more. The home supporters went off to get their pies and I had a fantastic cheese and branston sandwich, highly recommended whenever you're at Dalymount.
The game got underway again and no longer had I wiped a spot of sauce from the side of my lip than McPhee had made the score 3-1 to Brays. It was almost Arsenal football with slick 1-touch passing and 1-2's galore. The build up was superb and the finish from McPhee was coolness defined. Bohemians then began to dominate the match a little as they had 4 good chances within the space of 8 minutes but poor accuracy let them down. It was Bray again though who created the best chances. Ferradj (76) had his shot cleared off the line by the Bohemians desperate defence.
It was to no avail though as a minute later Howson bagged Brays 4th. It really was a fantastic solo effort from the young man. He skipped his way past numerous challenges with the ball stuck to his feet and 1-on-1 with the keeper slotted the ball between Casilla's legs. He clearly enjoyed scoring his debut goal as the excitement got to him a bit and a minute after scoring decided to do a Klinsmann inside the box when clearly he hadn't been touched by any of the Bohemian players. He was promplty booked. However, this only appeared to spur on the youngster and within a minute of the yellow card he should have scored again. You would have bet your money on him scoring in another 1-on-1 situation but then you would have lost because his shot clipped the outside of the left hand post. Unbelievably, 4 minutes later and after another shot from Howson had rifled wide of the post he did get his 2nd of the match. This time a perfect cross from the left by Fox (77) found the head of Howson 8 yards out and he placed it beyond the despairing Casilla. 5-1 was now the score to Brays, unbelievable.
It was at this point, all be it a bit late, that Bohemians decided to pull their finger out and a quick response from Kelly brought them a goal back. A lovely whipped cross from the right wing was headed with power towards the top middle of the goal giving Mignolet no chance. Time was slipping away for Bohemians but on 83 minutes they did get another goal, this time a mix up in midfield by Ferradj and Howson gifted the ball straight to Crowe and he went on to round the advancing Mignolet and slot home easily from 10 yards.
So then it was 5-3 with only 7 minutes left on the clock and Bohemians were starting to look desperate. They pushed more and more men forward looking for another goal that could possibly get them back in to it but this left huge gaps at the back. Those gaps where soon exploited by Bray and on the counter they got their 6th to seal the game. The ball was given away whilst Bohemians were in an attacking position and Demir (76) let loose with a 60 yard pass that landed at the feet of substitute Bartels (78). He proceeded at pace towards goal and somehow managed to spoon his shot over the keeper and on to the bar. On hand was McPhee who had the easiest of chances to claim his hat-trick, tapping in from 2 yards. It was a thoroughly deserved hat-trick for the debutant who had given his all up front on his own.
    As the final whistle blew some sections of the home supporters booed their team but it was cheers all round in the away section. Andrew Bauer gave us his words after the match;
"What can I say? It was a win that many didn't expect, including myself. It's widely known that Bohemians have much stronger players than ours but somehow that quality didn't really show through today. They were the home side and we were definitely the underdogs but we showed real grit and determination and I'm really proud of what my lads have achieved today. I expect this is just a blip for them and I imagine they'll be back on the winning trail sooner rather than later."
    About Stephen McPhee and Jonathon Howson;
"Both of them did really well today, you can't expect anymore of them. They've played out of their socks and to score so many goals between them on their debuts is just fantastic. I'll be hoping they can reproduce this sort of form throughout the rest of the season."
    Bohemians 3 - 6 Bray Wanderers

McPhee got a hat-trick on his debut.

This is just an idea, I don't mind i you don't like it or want to criticize it, Please just give your opinion.
Do you get annoyed having lots of teams on different account, and now that there are so many Gold Setups you can't fit them all on your account so you have to buy a second one, well this idea will stop that.
    My Idea
I feel you should be able to buy a GM 10 spaces add-on for a price of around £4.99. This is the same price as Gold renewal. This will be like buying another Gold Membership, just without having the Custom Setup with it and you get all your teams on the same account.
Please discuss positives and negatives off this idea here.

Baseball Furie reacted in Football Tantrums - 3 in 3 Days!
The weekend beginning the 15th March was the weekend of Football tantrums. £ days in a row we saw 3 players in 3 different game show their frustration at being taken off. We saw shirts being chucked, water bottle's kicked and some very red faces in the dugout.
First of all we saw Shane Long in the Liverpool - Reading game, being taken off whilst 2-1 down and the team went on to lose without another goal being scored. Long had had a very frustrating afternoon and was obviously annoyed more at himself for being kicked all over the place by Skrtel and Carragher and not being able to make an impact in the game, nothing was sticking or coming off for him. But if you were to throw your shirt at anyone, I would not choose Steve Coppell. I watched the game on Football First and in his interview after the match he was obviously extremely angry and embarrased to see such immaturity from his player, but that's all it was. The kid is only learn and as Coppell said, twice, "It won't happen again"
Next up Robbie Keane in their away game at COM stadium. it was 1-1 and keane had given Spurs the lead but was brought off for Darren Bent. As captain I think this is far worse than Long's situation yet Poyet was suprisingly lenient it seemed. He told the BBC it was the type of character he wanted at the club." 5 mins after Keane was subbed, City scored and I'm sure Keane, though dissapointed had a smug smirk he wanted to let out and 2 finger's for the boss. Later on Tottenham fans gave Keane MOM after he scored his 21st goal of the season. It was a suprising one as he looked the most likely to create anything up top to be replacred by the non existent so far this season, Darren Bent.
Our 3rd and final tantrum came at St Andrew's on Monday night. This time Obafemi Martins was brought off to his complete disbelief. As the board held up his number and the announcement was made, Martins however continued to walk into his position into the area, almost trying to convince himself it wasn't happening. He was almost in tears in the end when he was forced to leave the pitch and without a word sat sulking on the bench for the rest of the game. Again a strange one as it seemed he had the legs on the break ahead of the City defender's who no doubt were relieved to see N'Zogbia brought on instead. Martins I feel was not fully fit though and should not have been suprised to see himself lasting less than the full 90 on his return,
What is weird though is that we have seen 3 in 3 days from the premiership. What has sparked this reaction? Is it pure coincidence, have the latter 2 seen the others react before and done likewise for attention? I am a little dumbfounded and don't understand to be honest, any views?

Cally - Legend, is the only word (Apart from Stoner...) that i can think of to describe this geezer. Been mates with this mofo since i first started coming on to the chatroom, and he is one funny guy, and a heck of a manager too! (3-5-2)
Mark T - When i stopped using chat, due to my ban which i shouldn't have had... he was one of the only people i kept in contact with, mainly through Msn and Bebo, and this guy is awesome. Leeds to come back in to the championship and send Ipswich down!
Laura J - Sister of Matt Jenkins, proper sound lass, still in contact with her, kinda, and she is probably the best lass i've met on this game. Had a fair few ups and downs with her, the lowest her getting me banned for chatting her up while she was seeing Luke() Anyway, She's awesome.
Sinar - Feel a bit bad for how much i've picked on him over the last year or so... He was a pretty cool geezer when i was mates with him, got to the point where he was just winding me up about my age (Even though I'm the same age as him) and for a while after i couldn't stand him. Don't really talk to him now, but he was a pretty cool guy while i knew him.
Luke - Haha, had so many funny times with this guy, probably 'cos i know him in real life. The thing i know him for, which is SM related, is him banning me for chatting Laura up, while he was seeing her; pretty funny stuff. In real life, this guy is nothing more than an alcoholic.
    Thats all for now.

    0-2Verona Vs. Everton

Everton were after their 3 straight league win against Italian hopefuls Chievo Verona on Saturday night and with a full team to choose from Everton were at full strength.
Lilian Thuram started his 167th game for the Toffee's since joining them 4 seasons ago. Ayala, Caneira and Heinze were the other defensive force for the Merseyside clique. Roberto Abbondanzieri started his 121st game for Everton between the sticks. Moutinho, Hitzlsperger, Bilyaletdinov and Munitis resumed their duties in the center of the park and Denis and Gomes teamed up for only the second time this season up front.
    First Half:
The game started off with a bang when a stupid challenge by Marco Caneira results in a yellow card.
Seconds later Chievo were on the attack again but is halted by a last ditch tackle by Gabriel Heinze and is hoofed up the pitch
Chievo were all over Everton and they had another chance when Gionatha Spinesi's header goes inches wide.
The referee gives the decision to Chievo and a dangerous corner is whipped into the box but Salvatore Lanna can not out muscle Lilian Thuram.
Roberto Abbondanzieri dives to his right and clutches the ball to his chest to stop Chievo getting the lead.
Luis Jimenez makes it to the bye-line and puts in the cross which is headed clear by Thuram once again.
The first Everton attack of the half came when Thomas Hitzlsperger tried from 15 yards was a false dawn, as it slipps past the keepers near post!
Another chance for Chievo when a cross from deep leaves Luis Jimenez in plenty of space, but he fails to capitalise on it as Thuram takes it off his toe.
Denis went down there and the ref cautions Rocha Josiel after the high challenge
Everton then take the lead when Miguel Nuno Gomes smashes it with venom into the roof of the net hitting his 7th goal of the season.

    Gomes Grabs The Goal...

Everton nearly went two up minutes after but Germán Denis lacked the final touch.
Chievo were not lying down though as a shot from Josiel crashes against the bar and Roberto Abbondanzieri has to be at full stretch for the rebound from Soares.
Everton had become more confident and Filipe Joao Moutinho starts to push further forward in the attack.
Not long later a forceful strike from Nuno Gomes makes sure Óscar Perez is on his toes.
Diniyar Bilyaletdinov then lost his marker and has a snapshot from the edge of the box which results in a wonderful reflex save from the keeper.
Just before the break an opportunist effort is cracked from distance by Luis Jimenez which goes just wide.
    Half Time Analysis:
Everton seem strong at the back with Caneira and Thuram making sure Chievo don't get through. Chievo will have more chances but Everton seem to be dominating.
    Second Half:
Chievo shot out the starting blocks and Salvatore Lanna is clean through on goal with only the keeper to beat, but hits the outside of the post.
However seconds later Marco Caneira lost his marker and thumped a low shot under the keeper!

    Head Over Heels...

Everton could've made it 3-0 had it not been for a cool challenge by Gionatha Spinesi to break down the attack.
For the first time in the game Caneira had been beaten to the ball but somehow an easy tap-in from Hiziel Soares goes wide.
Chievo were not giving up even for a consolation goal when Rocha Josiel dived in at the near post only to be denied by the woodwork.
Heinze was beaten and it's a great run down the wing by Salvatore Lanna, but a poor cross is delivered into the box.
Another yellow for a Toffee after a late lunge Germán Denis receives a yellow card.
Everton were starting to pressure the Chievo defence and Óscar Perez pulled off a fantastic save from a Hitzlsperger rocket as the keeper parry's it away The keeper rushes off his line to claim the ball against Gomes.
Another wonderful piece of vision from Moutinho and a quick burst of speed enables Gabriel Heinze to pull away, only for the linesman to raise his flag for offside.
Chievo were kicking themselves after yet again a lovely ball falls to Rocha Josiel but he shoots wide.
From a counter attack Chievo looked on to score but Diniyar Bilyaletdinov read the game well to intercept the ball.
Once again Salvatore Lanna beats the offside trap but a poor shot lets him down.
    Analysis:
The win went to the team who played best and capitalised when it mattered, the Chievo boss and strikeforce will be bitterly dissapointed after they failed to score on 6 attempts.

    42% Possession 58%
    6 Shots On Goal 17
    2 Shots On Target 7
    3 Corners 5
    1 Yellow Cards 2
    0 Red Cards 0

    The Week Ahead:
Chievo have 3 days rest after being knocked out of the Championship Shield while Everton travel to Dortmund tonight in the 3rd round.
In the league Everton host mid table team Feyenoord on Wednesday which should result in a win for the Merseyside Men.
    Prediction : Everton 2-0 Feyenoord.
Chievo travel to fellow strugglers Newcastle United on wednesday which is a vital game for both teams. Should be a win for Chievo but we reckon a draw will suit the teams
Prediction : Newcastle United 1-1 Chievo Verona.
    Team News:
Everton are chasing Roma striker and former Everton hitman da Silva Muniz Liedson and tempt him back to Goodison Park it is thought he will cost them around £12,000,000.
Everton and Fenerbahçe have made tentative enquiries about Juventus midfielder Rodriguez Vicente, who is out of favour in the Italian force, Tottenham Hotspur and Panathinaikos are also being said to be keeping tabs on the Spaniard.
The Toffee's could move for £7.6m-rated Munich Defender Wayne Bridge.
Everton will be looking to sign Filipe Joao Moutinho permanently at the end of the season. Moutinho, who is on loan from Internazionale has featured often in Everton's team this season and the Toffee's want to make it permanent but it will be tricky with Barcelona keeping tabs on the Portuguese star.
Araujo Ilan will play for the reserves on Tuesday, his first appearance since his Injury.
Gérman Denis has been transfer listed by Everton, Arsenal and River Plate are two of the teams said to be interested.

    2-2Las Palmas Vs. Hércules

Las Palmas will be dissapointed after only coming away with a point against Hércules last night. Managers Sam Wainwright and George ********* Know each other very well but their friendships were put aside in this duel.
    First Half:
Hércules were the first to attack when a 35-yard scorcher from Benjani was punched over by Mark Schwarzer. Minutes late all **** broke loose Gómez Javi Gonzalez took out his man with his forearm which resulted in a yellow card.
Rivas Nano came closest for Hércules when he hit the ball hard with the outside of his boot, but put it into row Z.
More attacking from Hércules as the defenders dither with the loose ball in the box Juan Marino popped up but blasted wide. The Away team though they had the lead when Mwaruwari Benjani beat the offside trap but a poor shot let him down.
A goal came in the 13th minute and it was against the run of play after a scramble in the box resulted in Matt Derbyshire bundling it over the line

    Derbyshire for England...

Las Palmas almost doubled their lead when an opportunist effort is cracked from distance by Marrero Juanma just wide.
Seconds later Ariel Montenegro hit a straight volley toward goal but it crashes off the near post.
Another chance fell for Las Palmas when a low cross is lashed into the box but Mark Viduka fails to control it.
Hércules were kicking themselves when Juan Marino showed some exellent footwork in front of goal, but failed to score.
Viduka came close again but the shot is hit goal bound but into the arms of Ben Foster.
Seconds later Viduka shot again and Ben Foster dived to his right and palmed away a powerful effort.
Las Palmas were in a good spell and almost doubled their lead when Marrero Juanma gained control at the edge of the box but curls his shot inches wide. Just before half time, an attack from Marino took two defenders and Mark Schwarzer to shut out the shot.
Another moment of madness just before half time after shouting abusive language Gómez Javi Gonzalez gets a second yellow card.
Hércules were letting themselves down and it got worse when omehow an easy tap-in from Mwaruwari Benjani goes wide.
    Half Time
The first chance of the half was squandered as Viduka let rip but hit the outside of the post.
Finally Hércules managed to get it into the net when Mwaruwari Benjani thundered in an overhead kick, Fanastic athleticism!
Moments later Las Palmas nearly regained the lead with a delicate chip from Marrero Juanma crashing back off the bar and Ben Fsoter clutches the ball gratefully to his chest.
Minutes later, Pascal Chimbonda inexplicably misses his cue on a header from six yards.
Almost 2-1 when a golden opportunity is wasted and Mwaruwari Benjani knows it. Suddenly a shot from Juan Marino is cleared off the line and out to safety.
2 goals came one after the other after Mwaruwari Benjani finished from a yard
and Las Palmas shot straight back into the game after a poor clearance falls to Matt Derbyshire who smacks the ball past the despairing keeper.

    52% Possession 48%
    16 Shots On Goal 7
    11 Shots On Target 4
    10 Corners 4
    1 Yellow Cards 1
    0 Red Cards 1

I agree with your Kindest blokes Welshman.
Danny's rough around the edges but once ya get to know him he is a smashing lad.
Rishabh is also a class lad I don't know him that well but I'd love to
