    Eye Of The Tiger
New Hull City manager Sam Wainwright has made his intentions perfectly clear today for the Tigers. Wainwright told how his main priority is to save the struggling team from relegation. He stated: "We're in a dangerous position right now and me and the backroom staff intend to do what we can to get us out of it. Possibly we could have to bolster the squad or remove anyone who isn't of sufficient calibre for this squad. I have no hesitation changing things around for the better." Things have already begun to change amongst the Hull ranks with the first casualty looking to be Trinidad and Tobago keeper Tony Warner. Warner who has never made an appearance for the club has been added to the transfer list along with Bulgarian Midfielder Orlin Starokin. Staying with Wainwrights new squad, when asked about Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner's frustration at his lack of games, Wainwright seemed in good spirits as he told us: "Nicklas will get games if I think he performs well in training, and I plan to include him in our next game anyway." Nicklas has since issued a statement saying: "I hope to play under my new manager and not struggle like I did under Jared."

Since Wainwrights appointment, he has named Ferreira Lucio as the clubs captain and Sebastien Frey as the vice captain. Ian Ashbee had been previous captain for the Tigers but has recently had a heart-to-heart with Wainwright and has decided to step down, creating rumours that Ashbee may be on his way out of the club. Wainwright claimed: "Ian spoke to me this morning about the fact he didn't deserve to be captain of the squad anymore as he was starting to blend into the furniture, I respect his decision and somewhat disagree too, but it's totally up to my team and I have full confidence in my players." Upon hearing his appointment of captaincy, Lucio spoke of his delight: "I cannot wait to put the armband on on saturday, I feel I've earned it this season and look forward to leading my team-mates and friends onto the pitch on saturday evening." Other news amongst the club is the fact that Chelsea legend and former West Ham assistant manager Steve Clarke has been named as Wainwrights new right hand man.

    from the London outfits grasp.
Liverpool Left back Marcelo is rumoured to be interested in a move to the Tigers, it appears Wainwright has enquired about the Brazilian already this morning.

When speaking about the league he has come into, Wainwright told us of his envy for fellow strugglers Portsmouth. Wainwright claimed: "It's scary, to look at their team of players and then look at ours, if their struggling then how is there hope for us? I believe Patrick can keep them up and so do the team, they're a strong squad and would never deserve to play Championship football, I hope for the good of the Footballing world, Portsmouth stay up this season." It is unsure how Patrick Coll will react to Wainwrights positive words.
    Rest Of Season
With only four games to go, Stoke City are certain to be playing Championship football next season after getting a measly 18 points out of their 34 Premier League matches this season. Despite Stokes lowly score, Amazingly 10 teams are still chasing safety this week. Manchester City, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Wigan Athletic, Birmingham City, Portsmouth, Fulham, Burnley, Wolves and Hull City are all attempting to stay up, with just 10 points seperating 19th and 9th, theres even a possibility that Wolverhampton Wanderers and Hull City could both finish in the top 10! despite those being very very slim chances. The two Manchester teams can secure their Premier League status' on saturday where City play Blackburn, if either team win, they are safe from relegation, whereas Man United play Tottenham Hotspur who are cruising in 6th position this season. With regards to the bottom four clubs fighting for safety; Fulham, Burnley, Wolves and Hull, each team do not have it easy in their last 4 games this season.

Wolves and Fulham play each other on saturday with just 1 point seperating them, a win for either team, is definately a six pointers. Wolves following game is against top of the league Liverpool which is a worrying one for the Wolves as Liverpool have only lost 6 games throughout the season. Wolves last two games of the season are against fellow strugglers Wigan Athletic and a Blackburn rovers team that have lost their last 5 games.

Burnley take on 15th position Portsmouth on saturday and that there is another six pointer game. Following that is a tricky tie at Goodison park where they play Everton who are 5th in the table this season and going for Europe. However some people are already calling their penultimate game against Stoke an "Easy Win", Although Burnley will have to be on their game to overcome the Potters. Burnley's final game of the season is away to the Gunners. Arsenal are 4th and look good value for the win.

After the Wolves tie, Fulham host Tottenham at Craven Cottage. Tottenham will surely have a hand in one of the 4 teams to go down this season. Fulham then travel to 15th position Birmingham in a must win game. The Cottagers final game of the season is at home against 2nd from bottom Hull City, if the relegation battle goes down to the final day, this will surely be a key match in their season.

Hull City's last four games are not easy by any means, their first game on saturday is at home to doomed Stoke City, if Hull pull off a win, they will surely feel more comfortable depending on how the teams around them get on. They then travel to 4th placed Arsenal and at best will try for a draw. Then comes the two pivotal games in Hulls season. This seasons Underachievers Manchester United travel to the KC Stadium where Hull almost certainly have to pull off a win to have a realistic chance of survival. The Final game of the season is against Fulham and will definately be one to watch.

I second what Craig says RVW' date=' He gets regualr football and has been scoring goals whereas Amarabat is a bit part player for PSV and I would imagine RVW will be past him rating wise come next change possibly and is the better bet i feel especially as he will prob move to a bigger club come the summer.
Well all transfers for Napoli at least P/E are on hold until the end of the season with Champs league qualifacation and Italian Cup still up for grabs need the depth but if nowt is agreed by then I may come in with an offer not so disimillar to the one I offered for Vermelen a while back though obviously always open to negotiation
Much better when you are actually challenged I feel, off topic slightly but after only 19games in GC 61 my Internacional are 13points clear and though I should be ecstatic, the fact it is proving so easy means I aint enjoying the achievement as much.

    Prologue

Characters : Sam Wainwright - Baseball Furie.
Guards - 2 random forum noobs.
    The commanding voice - sonofpluto
Kids - you don't really want to touch this thingie
    - "Oh please, not again!" , - he thought. - "Why am I always the one?"
Sam looked around. He was all alone yet again.
    - "Why do those guys always have to leave me behind?" , - he howled in his head. - "Today is probably the biggest day in my life and those guys left me alone in bus again, while they're probably already on the pitch! One of these days..."
Sam wasted no more time, as he quickly got his bag and ran out of the empty bus straight for the employee entrance. However, to his despair, there were several guards guarding the entrance. His luck decided to pull another one.
    - "Hey guys, please, let me go quickly. I'm late" , - shouted Sam.
    - "Who is this clown with his long hair?" , - one of the guards asked the other one.
    - "Oh comon, you must know me! I am Sam Wainwright! The football player!" , - he shouted desperately.
    - "Liam Beinbite? Never heard of a guy with such a name..."
The guards began to frustrate Sam and it was only a matter of time before he'd throw a punch to that arrogant guards...
    - "Sam, where have you been?! We've been looking all over for you! The Final will start in few minutes and you're screwing around by the entrance?!"
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    - "Well guys, it's enough for today. Go back to bed"
    - "But uncle Sam!!!..."
    - "Well, today has been a long day and I've told you everything from the beginning. This is the teaser for tomorrow. Now go to bed!"
After the kids went to bed, Sam sat back at his couch and thought - those were days!...
