    Want-Away Striker Chamakh Goes AWOL

Birmingham City striker Chamakh walked out of training yesterday after a bust up with new signing Luiz Adriano, Adriano said "Chamakh just squared up to me after a late challenge in a training game, Chamakh played on in the game before 2 footing me so he was after dismissed to the dressing room he walked out of the club and no contact has been made since." Kevin spoke to SMTV on the subject "Well he's acting like a child to play football in my team you need to play well and impress me during training we came here to Spain to have a relaxing time before our match in 2 Days time, Chamakh is yet to board a plane so it is pretty certain he is still in Spain at the moment" The Birmingham squad depart back to England tonight if Chamakh turns up to board with the team is yet to be seen.
SMTV also caught up with Waide Fairhurst who is being mentored by Chamakh "I havent had contact with him since he left but he told me he is sick of being left out of the team, i believe he is one of our top players he's taught me so much even though i have been here so little time, i hope he returns as Birmingham need him"

    Name: Joe Bennett
    Age: 19 (28/03/1990)
    Club: Middlesbrough
    Posistion: LB/LM

Another academy product from Middlesbrough Bennet has been an ever present sight in the reserves over the past season, putting in a few good performances and earning England caps in the U16's, 17's and 18's. He is on standby for the U19 squad with other fellow Boro players. He signed his professional contract at the start of this season after a number of impressive performances in pre season, most notably against Celtic. Earlier today he made his Middlesbrough debut against West Ham and he was the only bright spark in what was a disapointing performance. He was solid at the bacl and made one terrific tackle when he tracked back 20 yards to make a sliding challenge on Kieron Dyer as he was about to pull the trigger after being put through on goal. He seems to have outplaced Jonathn Grounds as the reserve left back and with Pogatez set to leave it would mean that next season he would fight it out with Taylor to be the first choice left back. He is a promising full back and could become similar to the success Rhys Williams has been.
Currently NOT on the DB.(Was waiting till he made his debut to post)

Carlo Ancelotti last night was in a critical state in hospital after a rare case of Trophy Rain occured in West London. Trophy Rain has not been recorded since 1987 when a gentleman called Ryan Ayr was crushed whilst strolling in the park with his pet Panda called Rover.
Since last night Chelsea Football Club employed Sam Wainwright as their new manager, at the press conference Wainwright stated: "I hate Peppercorn Ham."

    New things:
    * The wall defending against a free-kick can be moved using the shoulder button.
    * Cross-field passes are now generally a lot more driven and will take about half the time to cross the pitch.
    * Players can assign specific stadiums to specific clubs.
    * On cold days, players' breath will be visible.
    * There will be new crowd effects.
    * There will be a new training mode, similar to the one in the PS2 version.
    * There will 23 new celebrations; whether or not these are user-controlled remains to be seen.
    * There will be a new Arena mode called 'Anything Goes', with up to four players able to play there at once.
    * There will be a new gameplay-editing interface named "Custom Set Pieces" in which the player can manually assign the runs/movements of individual players within a set piece.
    * More downloadable content will be available via the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace.
    * The goal nets will be completely rewritten.
    * The stadium lighting will be more realistic, but not dymanic (e.g. the sun will not move across the sky during matches).
    Manager Mode:
    * The transfer system will be more authentic, as money is not the monopolizing factor in acquiring a player. The acceptance of the offer will be based on factors such as the amount of players in your squad in the same position, and the promise of European competition outside of the domestic league. Furthermore, obtaining a player's services will be more realistically prolonged as the manager must deal with competition for the player by other clubs. Also, now you can submit bids in for several different players and if the club accepts, then you as the manager has the choice of approving the transfer. So for instance if you submited bids for 3 different strikers, and you only needed one, if the clubs of those 3 players accept the offers, you have the choice of choosing which of the players you actually want to have.
    * The financial matters in the game will be based less on a team sponsor and primarily on the board of directors, who will provide two overall budgets: Wage budget (the amount of money provided every year for paying players) and Club budget (the money associated with buying and selling players as well as team improvements).
    * There will be a Board Difficulty setting, in which players can decide how "generous" the board is financially.
    * The Player Experience and Growth System has also dramatically changed. The manual XP growth from FIFA 08 and FIFA 09 have been abolished; player growth will now be determined by in-game performance, demands placed on the player, and achievements based on the player's particular position. There will also be three categories for gaining experience: Mental XP, Physical XP, and Skill XP. Younger players with higher potential will gain XP much faster (especially in Physical XP) and each player will have an individual growth point, which in turn promises more authentic gameplay.
    * Results for simulated non-user matches will be more heavily based on team strength and not appear as "random" as has been the case in the past. This will result in more realism and eliminate instances from the previous title where stronger clubs were fighting relegation and clubs with weaker players were winning the league.
    * Pre-season friendlies will be introduced to the next-gen versions of the game, which will be organized by the club's assistant manager for a chance to flatten out any wrinkles in a club's lineup before the domestic season begins.
    * A Live Season feature has been implemented within Manager Mode. As players' forms rise and fall based on performance (within Manager Mode itself, not real-world events), players will receive a temporarily higher or lower rating along with temporarily higher or lower stats to implicate the authenticity of player form.
    * Kit numbers can once again be edited.
    * The fatigue of players will be more authentic and realistic, eliminating the problem in which lower-level teams suffer from incredibly low energy levels throughout a series of matches.
    * The AI of other teams across the Manager Mode world has been improved significantly. Opposing clubs will rotate players more often based on factors such as fatigue, player form, and even the relative importance of a match (i.e the lineup for a top team in the early rounds of a domestic cup will consist of lower-level and younger players as opposed to a full-strength squad).
    * Total Football Experience will be a new feature in which football news around the Manager Mode world will be visible, including player transfers, fixtures and results in foreign leagues.
    * A new mode which has been revealed is the "Set-Piece Creator". Using this, runs can be assigned to specific players for different directions. It is not known yet wheather this will be available on online play, as revealed by producer David Rutter.

    V DIVISION 2
    Sheffield Wed V Millwall
As the season draws to a close (and this particular Match reporter has run out of analogies to compare Millwalls plight with), the good ship Millwall rode another huge wave at the weekend with a sensational 3-1 win over play-off rivals Fulham. As, is to be expected in the swirling pitch and trough of the treacherous play-off seas the badly listing Lions (just 4 points from port) now find themselves steaming full on, into another enormous wall of water, a trip to relegation threatened Sheffield Wedenesday. The Lions have taken on a lot of water of late and make the journey N by NW ,without injured leading midshipmen Downing, and Gardener. With Bassong, Benjani and now top scorer Mauro Boselli firmly billeted in sick bay.Captain Izod is thought to have acted quickly in making up ship-boys Foley, Mattock and Callejon to the crew. After a bout of Scurvy, Oscar Ahumda faces a late 50 laps of the quarter deck before being given the all clear for the game.
The good ship Wednesday has been no pleasure cruse for old sea dog Sam Wainwright. Despite the scurvy-est of crews, and being Short of sail all season long Captain Wainwright looks to have sailed the Wednesday around the horn,as they have clawed their way back from Davy Jones, to 5 points above the plimsol line with just 3 games left.

    BREAKING NEWS

Sheffield Wednesday manager Sam Wainwright has just accepted a 2 year extension on his contract at the club, this comes after a more than satisfying run in Division 2 ensuring the Owls are almost clear of the drop zone. Chairman Lee Stratford has claimed at the conference: "We have been delighted with Sam's input this season and his management to the team has been brilliant, 41 points out of a possible 66 for us has been great I just wished we'd got him earlier on in the season."
Wainwright added: "I'm flattered they'd like to keep me here and I'm delighted to stay and cannot wait for the next season, I hope to bring in new faces and bolster the team."

    Izod's A Magician

This morning Sam Wainwright spoke of admiration of Millwall manager Dave Izod. Wainwright told us: "He's a brilliantly tactical minded manager who deserves to take his team into the top flight, and I'm backing him to do so against fulham this week and then win promotion through the play-offs, I've been to a couple of their games this season, the 3-1 win over Charlton was phenominal along with the hammering they gave to Burnley, I really hope they make it."

    Holt "Unlucky"

Also in the conference Wainwright told us he felt that Crystal Palace manager Paul Holt can feel unlucky that his team aren't higher in the table. Sam stated: "If they hadn't have had the bad luck they've got in a few games this season, they'd be a lot higher in the table and I know that Paul is a great manager, I think he's just had the bad rub of the green and hope his team get lucky next season."
