Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. Newly crowned SUNDERLAND manager of the season Simon Coxell has not taken long to get active in the transfer window, in preparation for the up and coming season. An announcement will be made shortly as to the players hes gone for, but fans will be pleased to see that the coach hasnt just stuck with what they had having been slow off the mark in the last transfer market

Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. Tonight saw Sunderland win division 3 outright and already the coach is thinking of players coming and going from the club. These players have performed well for me all season, many had tipped us to struggle, but our philosophy worked. The players will be enjoying a few days rest before they come back in for a few friendlies to get ready for next season. Our transfer kitty is looking very good and shortly we hope the fans will have evn more to celebrate

Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. The Basement.Version II - The Returning Cup Round 2 fixture. SUNDERLAND V's NEWCASTLE 3 : 1 Some people may say it was only the cup, but a local derby as big as Sunderland v's Newcastle makes it a very important game to both managers. It appears even the chairman of newcastle was wanting to swap clubs colours as he was seen visiting the SUNDERLAND club shop

Sunderland coach ready to go Sunderland have this morning announced their first capture of the season. "We’re very pleased Mathieu Flamini has agreed to re-join us," new coach Sunnyskeg said. "He is a player of real quality, with a fantastic work rate and great mentality. As we know, Mathieu is a strong midfielder, but is also is comfortable playing in defence too. He is a very good addition to our squad." Transfer deals have been hard to finalise over the last few days with all the rush, but i am satisfied with the squad now and do not expect anymore players to arrive.
