Pedri’s potential is probably the highest out of the 4, I think Oyarzabal has peaked, for me he will struggle to reach 93 at Sociedad.

Ive never been a fan of Eric Garcia but that could change at Barcelona, I think the league would suit him more. As for Olmo another one who impressed last season and over the summer, I think he could reach 91 this season.

To add to the players Toby has kindly mentioned, you also have top youngsters in, Alejandro Balde, Bruno Iglesias, Fabio Blanco, Carlos Alvarez, Raul Moro, Benat Turrientes, Pablo Torre.

Players who aren’t currently on SM, but worth remembering when they do: Nico Serrano, Alvaro Bastida, Chuky, Diego Almeida, Rafael Obrador, David de la Vibora, Iker Bravo.

Don't know about the others but Serrano is on SM. I managed to get both him and Williams at Athletic in the space of a couple of bidding wars

This isn’t a reason to be in discord, I’ve noticed Damien has mentioned the unexpected error quote on discord, so hopefully we might have some information soon. Until then, all we can do is wait.

As a whole, discord is for members wanting to contribute to the game. Nobody will give you a link just because you can’t log in to your game worlds, everyone is experiencing the same issue.

Yeah, Steven was on briefly when I made that comment and tagged him but went soon after.

I didn't think it'd be a simple fix but hoped that by tagging there'd have been some way of delaying the fixtures on the backend as it was quite a considerable amount of time that people weren't able to access before the games were played, but no luck there. Though I've still not been able to access the site, I've seen the mail notification that usually indicates something happened shortly after the games were due to be played last night.

What is the SM Discord everyone is talking about?

The discord is for people helping update SoccerWiki on the whole though there are some people who are there just to ask about when updates for the main game are happening and are removed for that reason. If there's something to share on game updates, Steven shares it freely so doesn't need to be badgered but from the last update a few months ago it sounded like the changes were going to be quite big so if they're happening this year I wouldn't be surprised if it was the last month or two of the year.

well I'm unable to log in on the new or old interface, & when I try the app it lets me login to homepage then whenever I select any of my clubs get a "Sorry an unexpected error has occurred. Please try again" message

I've got the same problem. Got a match in about an hour (Cup) so the fitness of my players is going to be screwed as I can't set team.

  4. Wasn't expecting that much of a raise for Joao Gomes with the minutes he's played. Guessing Matheus Martinelli should get a bigger rise with him playing double the number of minutes (1223 minutes in Serie A compared to 530, and 2939 total minutes compared to 1475 minutes) despite Fluminese's position in the league.

Will Eric garcia get a rating change after euros? Maybe Pedri might get another +1?cheers

Is ridiculous how much football Pedri has played this season. I think Spain played the most minutes in the Euros due to going to extra time three times, so a max possible 630 minutes played and Pedri has played 629 of them. Added to 3,526 for Barcelona this season and he's going to the Olympics. He still managed to put in performances like that at the Euros at just 18-years-old.

100% pass completion in the first 90 minutes against Italy. Doubt he'll get a post-Euros +1 (though with people saying that Foden should have got one if he had played often for England throughout the tournament, which he hasn't, I'd argue Pedri's done enough - I think only Laporte from outfield players played more minutes for Spain and he's a centreback) but he has got a promising future ahead of him provided the ridiculous amount of football he's played this season doesn't ruin him. If anyone is in a gameworld where he's free, snap him up.

Not to judge you , simply adding some info from whoscored about ronaldo positions :

    Position Apps Goals Assists Rating
    FW (Forward Centre) 44 37 5 7.63
    FWL (Forward Left) 3 2 0 7.44
    Sub (Substitute) 2 2 0 6.82
    FWR (Forward Right) 1 0 1 7.6

    Here's an actual heatmap:

    aYkm6Bh.png

Like Mele said he does play often from the left.

The De Bruyne change is ridiculous. He's now the joint-third best centre forward on SM despite hardly playing as one

I wonder whether either of James Justin or Harvey Barnes will get an "injury credit" from SM or both even? I know Justin was nailed on for a really good rise before the injury, probably less so for Barnes.

I doubt it. SM have been pretty ruthless when it comes to injuries this review. Wouldn't be hugely surprised if Van Dijk gets a -1 even.

Rodrygo or Junior? Both 16m in my gameworld and both the same age but current rating in 88 and 89 respectivley.

We likely to see a +1 for both?

Personally I don't think either have done enough for +1. Vinicius' "big moment" against Liverpool aside, he's been underwhelming this season and has only really played due to Hazard being Hazard.

Haaland top CL goalscorer. Sancho injured for parts of the season. Ideally Haaland 94, Sancho 93 but I don't think it's that problematic. Especially when he's on the verge of leaving and SM seem to bide their time in those situations

They both had injuries. Sancho played just three fewer games than Haaland.

Just had a quick look myself. Looks like they have a way of resetting all loans instead of doing manually.

    I'm glad about that.

Hi guys what do you think about Pau Torres, Tabsoba and Konatè? I am not sure about who buy. I was thinking about Pau but konatè will join Liverpool...

In the short term, Konate won't be rising this review as he hardly played since the winter review but in the longer term he'll surely be a starter at Liverpool and should hit 90 by the end of next season if he stays fit.

I tend to sign younger players so I'd lean towards Konate, but ultimately it depends if Torres gets a move and to where. Personally wouldn't really consider Tapsoba as he's only being seriously linked with Arsenal.

    Romagnoli +1?

Will Zakaria lose his CB position?

He has seven appearances there over the last couple of seasons which might be enough to just about keep it but not a guarantee.

Would have been interesting to see Sancho against City. Despite the injuries he's not far off last season's stats in all competitions.

    19/20: 44 apps, 20 goals, 20 assists
    20/21: 36 apps, 16 goals, 19 assists

Albeit the stats are now more in the cups than the league.

any chance for sancho +1? 12 goal 18 assist is enough for a +1 to 93?

Personally, I think he's fully deserving given his performances over the last few years and that consistency. For me, he's just as key to Dortmund as Haaland is, perhaps even moreso, and without him - like they were for both games against City - they look much worse off.

I think it'll be a bit similar to Dias/Stones in the mid-season review, in that they both did amazing for City but the reviewers wanted to differentiate them so gave Dias the +1 and Stones nothing. Can see Haaland getting +1 to 93 and Sancho the 'Stones' treatment.

Surely an outside chance of 89 no? Gets better every time I watch him.

My feeling too. 88 with a chance of 89 (89 being more likely if Reyna goes up to 88 as he's kinda stalled a bit since the last review).

Four players off the top of my head who went from 86 => 89: De Ligt, Skriniar, Kroos and Sane. De Ligt and Skriniar rose to 89 mid season then 91 at the end but I think Bellingham can be compared a bit to Kroos and Sane (helps they played in same league):

    RzH6bNm.png

Not played as much in the league as them but season is still ongoing - can play a max of around 1800 minutes there. Done great in the cups and the Champions League especially. Kroos and Sane's national team minutes were purely friendlies while Bellingham has played a WC qualifier. His age and Dortmund's poor league form might count against him when it comes to the review but think his performances and the level they were at (Champions League) negates that.

ATM making progress with his stats, still only plus 1 just yet but more games and performances may well give him his +2 by the time of the Germany Review in 5/6 weeks time?? Probably will I would think, he's getting close +19.5% from 5.7%. Spreadsheet update ATM tho:-

    Jude Bellingham Dortmund 6th 19.5% 1 87 - 5.7% 19.5%

I like your predictions but think +1 right now is too small.

Since his last review he played 90 minutes in all three of Dortmund's Champions League knockout games with very good performances at the highest level against one of the best teams in the world in Manchester City, been playing for his country and 800+ minutes in the league, currently having played 2200 minutes all season (season stats are usually taken into account at end of season review)

Anyone know who the first player was? Only name that came to mind was Mbappe but he was 18 when he reached 10 Champions League appearances.
