1. Submitted a ticket for the Trent Alexander-Arnold playing concern I mentioned the other day. They simply closed it saying this:
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have now reviewed this ticket and believe that there is no reported bug. Due to this we are now closing this ticket.
Would have been nice if they could have elaborated why he got the playing concern when he was way over the minutes needed rather than just sending me a cookie cutter response. Edit: Also I've been on here for years, have over 200 posts and the forum permissions I'm given seems to be reduced every time I log in. Can't insert media in posts, can't insert basic quotes.
2. Yeah, I hope they go back to Bayern and sort out the players who should have risen but didn't - especially in light of the belated Barca changes. Doubt they will though.
3. Ouch. Trent got injured in the league to the team I'm pretty likely to be facing in the final as well. I won the league about five turns ago but been playing a strong side since as I wanted to work towards the points record for my league (3 points off with 2 games left).
4. And so, in my gameworld, the day after it injured Trent Alexander-Arnold for three weeks, meaning he misses the Champions Cup final, the game have literally added insult to injury by giving him a playing concern. https://i.imgur.com/QPyY2vO.png I'm probably one of the few people sad enough to have a spreadsheet specifically for rotating. Here's his stats this season: https://i.imgur.com/vzXFydt.png He was five games "in the black". I did sign him from another club midway through the season, but even taking that into account, he'd be a good 10% in the black: https://i.imgur.com/hYxgOkA.png What nonsense. Edit: And now the forum won't even allow me to embed images anymore. Attached as links instead.
5. To be honest I don't think Hummels is important to Bayern at all. Couldn't even be bothered to show up on the pitch this season. I'm still firm on Sterling deserving a rise (after all, performances over a season should count rather than a miss in one game in which he was still one of the best players on the pitch), but with how fickle the reviewers can be at times*, that miss will have put paid to it. *like Alaba deserved a rise but probably didn't get one due to his contract situation, Boateng went down in rating too quick despite becoming an important starter for Bayern this season and that won't be remedied either, again due to contract situation and his age and countless other players in similar situations who missed out on a deserved rise.
6. Got no problem with the game time, it is the performances that have been lacking. Last season De Bruyne still performed despite being injured (6 goals and 11 assists in 1800 minutes), whereas with Hazard even when fit he's not performed on the whole - 1 goal, 7 assists in 1500 minutes.
7. I can kinda see why they kept Hazard 95 due to his injuries but he still played over 1500 minutes and scored a grand total of one goal. They'd better give Sterling a +1, especially if City likely make it to the semi finals.
8. Great job. Agree 100% with Pulisic to 91 and Tierney and Fernandes rises. All three have had hugely positive impacts on their team since the restart/Fernandes signing.
9. Final (before England review, anyway) stats For me he deserves the rise even though City as a team have had an underwhelming season.
10. Pulisic has 10 goals and 10 assists in just over 2200 minutes in all competitions. More impressive is his stats since the restart: 4 goals and 4 assists in the league only in 573 minutes.
11. Yep. In a gameworld I'm in, someone offered me him for Sergi Roberto a few months ago. Snapped his hand off. Now have Mbappe, Sterling, Sancho and Pulisic in the one squad.
12. I knew Goretzka would rise! Hope Alaba and the other notable Bayern players missed get their deserved rise tomorrow.
13. Havertz is already 91. Needs a move to hit 92.
14. And if he doesn't then they'll be able to get their money back by selling to a West Ham/Everton. Win/win really.
15. Jude confirmed so pretty likely he'll be getting an increase soon. Maybe not with the Dortmund review but shortly after.
16. Yeah, the rise for Zakaria is insane given how long he has been injured for (but as he's one of my players I'm not upset) Would have thought if anything Elvedi would have been more likely to go up due to his constant fitness (though don't think either should have rose). Zakaria went up to 90 after the 16th league game, played in eight more (no Europa or Cup since the review) then was injured for the rest of the season. Also, if Zakaria has gone up to 91, Goretzka should go up to 92 and, as mentioned earlier, Sancho to 93. Expecting nothing for Goretzka and Sancho to 92 though.
17. Spain, England, Italy probably as that is the order they end in in real life.
18. Thanks. Must have been on different pages to the ones I was looking at. Saw quite a few Mainz players but not him.
19. Thankfully the edits aren't a 100% indicator of who is going to get reviewed. I thought so last review but at least one player got a rating change who wasn't in the edits. I hope it is the case anyway, as can't see Baku in the names either.
20. https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/news/top-5-second-assisters-sancho-thiago-brandt-stindl-baku-hockey-12045 I've got the top three names in my squad.
21. I doubt it. I had one keeper for a while because I had De Gea at the time who was in great form, in a gameworld that has squad caps so thought I would open up one more space by signing a goalkeeper about to retire. They retired and it let me have the one keeper without any problems (De Gea). It complicated things a bit when I needed to sell De Gea a couple of years later but I just signed one more keeper and part exchanged him for Oblak.
22. Its possible when you compare his full stats both this season and last to other 95 attackers His stats are right up there, with only Aguero and Mbappe doing better per minute. Progress in the CL will help his chances but the Prem will likely be reviewed before the CL resumes. Kane hit 95 months before Spurs reached the CL final.
23. Different people have different experiences with the same players. I had Messi for 14 seasons and he never had a season where he scored less than 15 goals. I sell him to someone and in two of the next three seasons Messi got 7 or fewer goals. I've had both Martial and Pulisic. Don't have Martial anymore but his stats went from one goal/assist every two games in his first few seasons to one goal/assist every five in his fifth in the league. Pulisic now for me has 14 combined goals and assists in 23 goals in all competitions. Both players have been backup for me. I just sign players based on how they're doing in real life and if they're struggling in my system I change the tactics. Martial is a certainty to hit 91 this coming review so he's the safe bet.
24. Best transfer: Mbappe when someone had renamed an old/retired player. When the transfer was reversed I was dreading that I'd end up missing out on the actual Mbappe but thankfully my league honoured the initial transfer and let me have a free run. Nowadays, it is pretty much impossible to have a free run at any player as at least three or four teams end up bidding on new players in my league. In terms of player swaps with managed clubs there are a few. Getting Antoine Griezmann in 2014 for £12M and Lars Bender Getting Raheem Sterling in 2015 for Alexandre Lacazette and Andre Gomes Getting Toni Kroos, David Alaba and Joshua Kimmich in 2017 for Lionel Messi, Serge Aurier and Marco Benassi (just exchanged Kimmich for Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham so hopefully that is another deal that will go well) Getting Christian Pulisic in 2019 for Sergi Roberto (still early days on this one but signs look promising) Worst transfer: Swapping Cristiano Ronaldo for Luke Shaw in 2014. I had Messi at the time and Ronaldo's stats were terrible so thought I'd try and get my leftback sorted for a decade. Couldn't have gone worse really but I did use Shaw in part exchange with a few other rejects for Jadon Sancho so kinda worked in the long run.
