  1. Re: GC150 - The Forum Invasion / Choose the League! Sorry to be a knOb mate but its ''great'' not grate ha. See you spelling it like that a lot, just an observation not trying to make you look like a tit or anything! Anyway, after a very solid start for my Millwall side (wins against Doncaster and Crewe) tonight things didnt go to plan. Lost 2-1 to Middlesbrough, fair play to the Boro manager he seems to have completly over-hauled his squad, think they will be up there come the end of the season.. Looking to add a few more new faces to my squad before Saturdays game.. New signings so far are as follows : Marlon King (3.5 mill from Birmingham) Marcus Hahnemann (free agent) Michel Salgado (4.4 mill from Blackburn) Gary Caldwell (5.0 mill from Wigan) Jonathen Greening (6.0 mill from Fulham) Micheal Mancienne (On loan from HSV) Stephen Ward (On loan from Wolves) Carlos Salerio (On loan from Sporting Lisbon) Diomansy Kamara is set to join from Fulham aswell for 5.0 mill. All in all reasonably pleased with my transfer activity so far. To be fair there are some very difficult managers in this setup so getting any sort of deal is a challenge. Aiming for a top 6 finish so we will see, looks a tough division though!
  2. Re: GC150 - The Forum Invasion / Choose the League! We still on for the loan deal of mancienne mate?
  3. Re: GC150 - The Forum Invasion / Choose the League! Got Millwall in the end..... Anyone else in Division 2 in England?

  5. Re: GC150 - The Forum Invasion / Choose the League! Wow.still exactly the same as yesterday, i reserve the team put my debit card details in it all seems to go through then suddenly i end up back on the home page with no team but its still in my basket lol.. O well its there lose of 2:99! I will get who ever i can tomorow when it opens.
  6. Re: GC150 - The Forum Invasion / Choose the League! Looks like Germany is the place to be then. Gunna have a gander at who is available.. Still a bit peed off at yesterday though, did anyone find out from SM why there were problems buying teams?
  7. Re: GC150 - The Forum Invasion / Choose the League! Complete joke. Tryed n several occasions to buy a team and it ust ent back to the home page saying i have one team in my basket. This kinda remind me why i ave been away from SM for so long. Its still as frustrating as it used to be. Seems like its a game made for kids and run by kids.
  8. Re: GC150 - The Forum Invasion / Choose the League! Its impossible to say isnt it really. Could be in a minute could be this time next week. who knows!

  11. Re: GC150 - The Forum Invasion / Choose the League! Only just got back to SM after a year and a bit out of it so i have completly lost track of how they do things. Its good to see that theres a large gap between GC's now though, i remember a year or so back when they went on that mad period of doing a gc a week or something, complete joke that was! Im not fussed who i get really i like the sound of this forum league though. Very doubtful i will be on SM the day its created and by the looks of this thread there are a lot of you waiting around for it.. If by luck i am in the day its made then i will probably be after Bayern or Dortmund..
  12. Re: The Official Bristol City F.C. Thread Been away from this forum for ages so nice to see a City thread started up Which ever way you look at it Coppell has well and truly fooked our season up by bottling it and leaving. Fair play to Millen for stepping in to what is a very tuff job at the moment. This season we just need to steady the ship and not go down (which i dont think we will do tbh). As for recent results, decent point at Burnley considering our recent form.. Portsmouth will be a tricky one on Tuesday to be honest, obviously they will be buzzing after winning 6-0 so i would quite happily take a point down there. On the subject of tuesday anyone on here heading down? I managed to get the weds off work so me and a few lads are driving down so should be a good crack, fingers crossed for the win! Up the City!
