You're totally right mate. Obviously the majority or rating changes are totally stats-based. If anybody really thinks that SM have scouts all over the world, checking how each and every player is performing game by game, then they haven't yet realised how little they care about this game nowadays.
Like you say, naturally there are more factors than just apps/minutes etc that come in to play for the top end players but for the vast majority, it's the basic stats that make the big differences when it comes to ratings changes.
Keep doing what you're doing pal, sure there are loads of people in the forum who are finding your research very useful

Ye, i'm not really sh*tting on the quality of Aspas or Illarramendi it just doesn't make much sense to raise Sociedad or Celta players to that level if you're not going to apply the same logic to Milan players who are playing in a better team that finished in a higher position. The guy reviewing Milan must have been an Inter supporter.

It appears so, they just missed a good 40% of the league because their knowledge of Serie A has always been horrendous.

I use an essential extension called uBlock Origin, so I can block permanently all types of ads and other website elements. UBlock Origin can detect any elements on a web page and allows you to block them permanently. After using it, next time you will visit the website everything will load perfectly except the thing that you blocked because you didn’t like it. Kessié not rising is a joke. Romagnoli i guess was a 50/50. Calhanoglu could have risen as well. These 3 were Milans best players last season but nothing for them. League position the only thing that matters i guess.

Incredible from SM again. Skriniar has a good season but how he can be 91 and Davidson Sanchez only gets 90 is a bit ridiculous. De Vrij should be reaching 91 also.
Nothing for Icardi and Gagliardini gets a token 90 despite having a disappointing second half to the season!!
