  1. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ ... Back to back wins sees The Potters climb out of the bottom three in Division 1 ... Boateng's departure facilitates the arrival of Toprak, Ranocchia and Gonalons to add greater depth at the back ... The fight for survival is on - next up Secasiu's Wolves in a massive 6 pointer ... Go on Stoke - unleash hell
  2. Re: Does SM really care about the spirit of the game...? Also, please check out Brentford in EC106 managed by brand new '40 rep' manager, Mathew Paleka. He also has teams in EC7777 (Luton) and EC30000 (Shrewsbury) under a different '291 rep' account. Again, apologies if I'm wrong but my suspicion is that the serial club wrecker (Oliver Hardy/Bathomet/Blossom) has any number of aliases...
  3. Re: Does SM really care about the spirit of the game...? A new manager, 'Buckler Crew', with a reputation of 40 has appeared simultaneously in two of the forum game worlds, EC106 and EC7777. 106 = Barnsley 7777 = Macclesfield If you're watching SM, please check it out - thank you...
  4. Re: Does SM really care about the spirit of the game...? My suspicions were right it seems - well done to SMFA for acting quickly and decisively. We must, however, remain vigilant as I've no doubt this obsessed individual will re-appear somewhere...
  5. Re: Does SM really care about the spirit of the game...? Not wishing to cast any aspersions and apologies if I'm wrong but both EC106 and EC7046 has a new manager by the name of 'Blossom'. Hopefully just coincidence...
  6. Re: |English Championship 30000|Discussions/MRs Thread Good work Machine, thank you - I have posted on your other thread. Unfortunately, since getting kicked off EC106 today 'Bathomet' has rejoined EC5579 as Sunderland... SM has to give us the facility to report this type of abuse and, as paying customers, we are well within our rights to expect a swift reaction...
  7. Re: Does SM really care about the spirit of the game...? Someone is listening because the manager by the name of 'Bathomet' has been kicked out of English Championship 106. He was responsible for sabotaging Everton and Brentford, possibly others. Bathomet still has clubs in; - English Championship 7046 - Shorpe - English Championship 5579 - Sunderland - English Championship 30000 - Luton - World Championship 40000 - Sevilla Could whoever kicked this anti-social individual out of EC106, kindly do the same in the other 4 game worlds. Better still ban him completely and block ALL related IP addresses. Thank you...
  8. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ ... No wins in 7 sees The Potters rooted to bottom spot in Division 1 ... Despite their reasonable goal scoring record (5th best in the division) they have conceded far too many (2nd worst) ... In a final effort to avoid the drop the club has made the difficult decision to sell their stand out player, Boateng. The money raised will be used to overall strengthen the central defensive unit which currently suffers a major imbalance in ability ... Offers in excess of £40m are invited
  9. Re: It's Tough At The Bottom(Match Reports,Transfer News,Discussion, and Slagging!) Really wasn't expecting that result, Bas. Very welcome nonetheless...
  10. Re: It's Tough At The Bottom(Match Reports,Transfer News,Discussion, and Slagging!) . Not too much to shout about here at Kingfield since coming up short in The Europa League group stage . A welcome away win at AFC Wimbledon on Thursday took Woking out of the bottom three but it will be a hard grind for the remaining ten games of the season to stave off relegation to Division 2 . A rare rating increase of +2 for left back Juan Cruz (San Marino) sees the starting XI finally rise above 74 to a heady 75...
  11. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Triffic away win for The Canaries to mark the occasion of the manager joining the '400 Club' (reputation points). More significantly for the bigger picture, perhaps, is SM's obvious tweak to the match engine - 433(W), so long the bane of a 5 man midfield, is no longer...
  12. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ Managed to claw my way back from 2-0 down and then 3-2 down but can't quite get/stay ahead this season. Scrapping for everything - the fight goes on...
  13. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread "Yeovil are currently rebuilding and had to play a 73 gk amongst other lower rated players..." Phew, that comes at a good time for Norwich who have gotten off to a pretty indifferent start after some decent showings against the big boys pre-season. Not that I would ever underestimate a below-strength Yeovil under Mister Malcolm. I will be giving it the full taters regardless. Come on you Canaries - sing up...
  14. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ Happy New Year indeed... 7 points from 9 and Boateng gets +2 to 93 (£19m gain) !!! Yeah baby...
  15. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ Apologies Bas, god knows where that performance came from after the most abject start to a season in my six and a half years on SM... Followed it up with a point at Lazio and Stoke's GD is better than the six clubs above so there's hope yet for the battling Potters. Happy New Year all - drink well...
  16. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ Need to get something at Secasiu's Wolves tomorrow or we could be in trouble. The new lads are taking time to gel but are working 'aaarrd in training. Bringing in a sacrificial reserve XI for Tuesday's League Cup fixture against Liverpool failed to pay dividends for the seniors two days later at Arsenal. Tough division, great challenge...
  17. Re: Vast improvement of Soccerwiki needed Plenty of tinkering at the edges with positional changes and minus ones whilst the main pool of players 99% of managers are interested in remain ignored for over 12mths. Staggering neglect from SM. At least explain to us how we, the paying customer, can improve matters with Soccer Wiki if it's now down to us to do your job !!!
  18. Re: EC Anno Domini - the invaded‏ A hard-fought first season in ECADII saw The Potters finish a creditable 5th in Division 1 with the reward of Europa League football next season. Stoke City made a dream start, heading the table for a short spell, but were ultimately outmuscled by the powerhouses of the division. Sensible strengthening of the default squad has raised the 1st XI from a rating of 87 to 90 whilst adding depth to better cope with injuries and suspensions. The club fully expects an exciting, yet difficult, second season but the management team, coaching staff, players and supporters are united in their ambition for success both home and abroad. Sunday's opener away at Fluffy's Spurs followed by Roma and Chelsea will provide a very stern test of City's credentials for Season 2. GO ON STOKE !!! PS. My apologies to the GW hosts for failing to participate in the end of year voting - time has been very limited of late owing to new work and family commitments. Congratulations to all those nominated and the clubs who picked up trophies and promotions, etc...
  19. Re: It's Tough At The Bottom(Match Reports,Transfer News,Discussion, and Slagging!) Woking's keeper, Nick Pope (Charlton Athletic), gets a welcome +2 to move up to a 76 rating. One of only 4 players to get a rise in the first season it's been a slow progression at the Division 1 minnows. A hard, battling campaign sees Woking safe from relegation with one match to play. A 5th place finish is possible if results are favourable tomorrow night. Well played, lads - here's to season 2 in ITATB...
  20. Re: English Championship 7046 Discussion Thread Can't seem to put any sort of run together this season. Thought we'd dragged ourselves out of the slump with 2 wins and a draw before GD's solid Chesterfield side put us back on our arse last time out. The visit of Marc's Rochdale tonight won't settle any nerves, his charges look equally decent promotion material. Come on you Canaries, time to fly...
  21. Re: English Championship 28888 Ditto at Port Vale, I'm struggling to find time to do justice to 14 teams and need to whittle them down to about 10. Good luck to the new manager - enjoy Europe !!!
