Haha yeah. Seen these guys being rumoured with clubs - Mandzukic to Celta, Asamoah to Porto, Clichy to Servette.

Maybe Sturridge is hoping for an MLS move? I think getting him fit is the major issue. He was struggling to play regularly at Trabzonspor and then got the boot in March.

I think its a mental thing with Sturridge as well, I remember Klopp saying something about that. Daniel thinks he is injured, when he could easily play.

Chelsea are starting to look like a very well oiled team, so many options in forward areas and more stability in the defence just love watching them at the minute.

In my opinion Chelsea are the team to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title. If anyone can.

Chelsea are looking strong, but I think if we can keep a couple of senior CBs fit (Matip & Fabinho), then the league will be ours. I know that sounds very arrogant, but the Leicester performance was a big statement imo.

The next thing we need to decide on is whether we have a rating and/or age cap. Most of the best games I play in have a rating cap. I prefer that way signing players and watching them develop.

Please quote this post with your decision.

Daniel Sturridge being one of them. I know there are fitness issues, but get him fit and what a player you'd have!

It took O'Neill some time to get it right but as well as Davis I think you've got quite an old squad. Who do you see coming through currently that can make an impact?

Yeah, that's true. O'Neill took quite a long time to get things right. We've lost a lot of our best players to retirement, which says it a lot about our squad. Gavin Whyte has looked decent in his appearances, although he hasn't been given many starts. I haven't been following the U21s recently, which is something I aim to rectify. Baraclough is probably the best man to bring through the young players, after being U21 manager for over 2 years.

  6. 11 minutes ago, jaybee said:

Reckon you made right choice as manager? I thought Tommy Wright would have got job.

I think we did yeah, I know the results haven't been great under Ian, but the performances have been decent enough. A big problem for Ian is that, Stevie Davis our captain is now 35 , and his impact on matches is becoming less and less. His impact is greatly missed, as he ran matches for us. We also don't have many goals in our team.

    Hi guys 👋

I’ve added 50 more players to my original list of 100 random selection of risers, hoping to get this list up to 250 before the big 5 get reviewed but I’m running out of time so though I would share the next 50 just in case.

I found this as a little fun thing to do in my spare time just adding random players here and there 😊

I will also be doing a starting 11 full of risers for each of the big 5, the starting 11 will be full of players I think who will rise the most and in some cases have good potential. These players will be between 75-85 in rating.

Yeah, that's true. Gomez out for the season by the looks of it! I'm still confident with the options that we have.

I know what you mean, but I think we'd have enough to cover their absence (depending on the length of the absence).

‘Joe Gomez suffers potential serious injury while training on International duty’

    From Sky sports news.

Bad news for Liverpool, their defence is getting decimated.

From an SM POV good news for managers out there who have Rhys Williams or Nathaniel Phillips.

😟😭 Bloody international duty strikes again!!

7 hours ago, Sir Rahul said:

Joe Gomez potentially out for some time now. Alexander-Arnold out too.

More minutes incoming for Neco Williams (80) at RB. CBs Nathaniel Phillips (78) and Rhys Williams (73) are primed for more minutes too.

With Matip's injury record things are not looking good for Liverpool (even though the transfer window is not far off). 8 league games before Jan (including Leicester next, Wolves and Spurs) and three CL games.

Jurgen could choose to play Milner at RB, if we have a young CB on the right side of defence. But yeah, our young defenders are definitely due a lot more game time. Fabinho is meant to be back after the international break, but I haven't heard an update on that.

    6 hours ago, Kieran_S91 said:

Even with all these injuries I still think Liverpool will retain the title and probably win all 3 games you mentioned 😂

They are showing they have the sign of champions winning both Sheff United and West Ham after going behind in both games. I’ve had this feeling with Liverpool ever since they came second narrowly to Manchester City a couple of seasons back.

I think if Mane or Salah get injured then I would start to worry, but I’m not so my only worry is when will Steve Bruce start to have a game plan than have all 11 men sat behind the ball every game without a decent strategy to get out 😁

Good to see you still tipping us for the title Kieran! 😉

Incredible start to the season but can they keep it up to stop Celtic from winning 10 in a row!

An amazing start! Their clean sheet record is something else as well.

How good has Jota been for you guys this season, I’m almost certain he’s going to rise to 90 in the winter review.

Ill be honest I was sceptical when Liverpool bought him because I know how well your front 3 work but he definitely adds goals.

Interesting stat: he’s scored more goals after 10 games than any other Liverpool player since Robbie Fowler in 1993 😳

Jota has been incredible! Hit the ground running and hasn't stopped. I was delighted when he signed, as he looked like the perfect player who could cover for any of the front 3. He is showing that he is better than that, on this form he is worthy to be a starter. He is in esteemed company there!!

I was in the process of doing a list of risers who I think have a chance of rising, should be some cheap options here.

I must stress that it’s still early stages in different leagues and these predictions can alter.

Lamine Gueye is a projection, he’s only played twice for Metz but has recently joined, I see him being a regular for Metz in the future that’s why I predicted a +2. This also applies to some other players on the list.

I will be adding to this list in the future too.
