  1. Hey man, i see you took the reigns of Eintracht. Hope you do well with them! Gordon, I was out of my home for 3 weeks, and forgot to login, as i'm not too much into SM anymore... Unfortunately this GW was the one that i lost my club. But it's ok. I'm down to 4 now, one more is ending soon, so i might keep a couple or 3 that don't need much maintenance. Good luck guys! Btw, if anyone is playing FIFA on ps4, send a message here, to be friends
  2. You always bet against me Frankfurt and i win, now that you bet for me i'll probably lose edit: i was wrong, yay
  3. So this goal happened yesterday... Olympiacos is always fun! They try to invent new cheats to amuse us every day https://twitter.com/TrollFootball/status/787430816989089792/photo/1
  4. It's funny how both Portugease guys here don't think high of Fernando Santos. Even after winning the Euro for first time in history, being an outsider, and even if he has a record of 0 losses with Portugal national team. Almost everywhere he goes he makes wonders with crap incredients, always overperforming by far, yet due to his defensive, realistic and not beautiful style of play, people always demand more. I think it's probably his physique and personal style too, that people don't seem to respect very much. As for this Euro he should "take it to his home" plain and simple. This trophy is his accomplishment alone by 90% at least.
  5. Congrats Pedro! I'm very happy for Fernando Santos above all! I also remember saying in this forum that Eder is a bad player, i did not know him, but he was great today. And oh my god, what a goal that was! Although if my country would lose in such a manner in a final, with the chances and especially with the 90th minute chance.. i would be crying for days probably...
  6. Croatia-Portugal was one of the worst games i have ever seen in my life. It was like watching a 3rd tier greek league match. I root for Fernando Santos normally, but i pledged during the match to support fanatically Poland over whoever of those 2 progressed, due to the gruesome thing i watched. ...and i'm an Italian tactical kind of football lover, i like Atletico Madrid over barcelona style etc. But this, man...this was infuriating to watch. No hero defence, no counter, no chances, no plan, nothing, just 22 guys scattered not doing anything significant for 114 minutes...and the world just watched an empty space. Yikes. Sorry Fernando, you progressed, but i can't man, just can't after that. Same would go for Croatia. Anyway, Iceland is a country i like and admire very much in general. And their team is doing wonders, they're so good.. and with this little population, what an achievement.. But the win over England is not a surprise. Sorry but why, lord, why the english consider themselves a potential winner of tournaments, why everyone thinks they're a big team? Based on the-indeed-most entertaining league in the world? This does not matter in international football, it is irrelevant. England like it or not, is laughable internationally, you wonder how they're gonna mess up each time. And something i didn't even know until today..they have NEVER E V E R won a single knock-out match in the Euro. It's true. They have progressed just ONE time in 1996, and that was on penalties. They have never won a knock-out game. I mean come on.. If they knew their true potential, like progressing from the group phase each time, well that should be considered a great success for them. And they won't be heartbroken every time over unrealistic expectations they can never achieve. But they can celebrate. Just be realistic at some point, like every other country who understand their potentials, and match their expectations accordingly. Well now, way to go Italy! Revenge on Spain, and now Germany. Maybe you don't know that the 2 teams has faced 8 times in tournaments, and Germany has 0 wins. 0. Of course these kind of history stuff break at some point, but i'm not sure at all this is the time that'll happen. Italy is far stronger than expected, in fact one of the 2 best teams until now(with France), and have the best manager in the tournament. So let's see, it's a derby.
  7. Mino Raiola is that you? lol No you don't get it at all. It did not hurt my feelings or anyone's at all. If you could read between the lines you could read that he was playing bad most of the time, and sometimes just ok, and the talk between the fans was that he plays only just because he had the legend uncle. It's called nepotism. This thing with players leaving for rivals has happened many times with other players and it hurt indeed. Manolas was not one of those players. That's perhaps the motive behind his behaviour afterwards. So calling nonsense what a greek resident who knows what's he's talking about, or wikipedia page(or whatever page you don't like), is just facts. And what you can do is simple fact-check. He's an a-hole, and as a player he was not missed here. The bothering part is the very poor business side of this, due to his shady actions, the team indeed lost a valuable asset and much needed money from his sale, especially in desperate times. And that's about it. I wanted to let people become familiar with a story not known, because noone cares about the past of a player in a "3rd world football country", and will continue not caring, after all this is the ManU topic. What i don't understand is why you care enough to attack me on something that you obviously don't have the slightest idea about, and don't really care. Are you a i-know-it-all sad little man? Kisses on the cheek, there will come better times for you, don't give up hope..
  8. http://www.dictionary.com/browse/insight Perhaps you should check this out and refresh your english? It seems you confuse the definition of "insight" with a "scout report"?
  9. I hope Ibra won't sign for United, i really truly want to see him again with the Milan shirt on.. Doubtfull, but one can hope. I really don't get what big European clubs see on this guy. He is just a good player, nothing special. His main attribute is that he is fast for a 1,87 player. A good CB for a mediocre european side, not a world class player at all. In the meantime for example a much much better greek CB like Sokratis Papastathopoulos is being overlooked, although he's fine at Dortmund which is a big club. Whichever team buys Manolas will know he's not what they think..the hard way. Especially if he goes so overpriced! On the other hand Manolas is a world class a-hole. Kostas was Stelios' nephew who is probably the best CB the country has produced and played only for 1 team in his career. Since we are on ManU's topic imagine that: Let's say that a legend of ManU, for example Giggs has a nephew, Kostas Giggs. Kostas Giggs was a ManU fan as a child, his dream was to be a footballer and play for United like his hero uncle, he had birthday cakes with United badge and all. And then someday this dream comes true. Overexcited. And he's doing good playing for the club for 3 years (while his many mistakes and many mediocre to bad perfomances always go overlooked by the fans because he's the nephew of Ryan Giggs). He even scores against the rivals, he's over the moon. Then ManU has financial problems, and Kostas Giggs decides not to honour his agreed contract, dragging the sign of the renewal for months, and leave for arch-rivals Man City for free without bringing a single pound! Then the first day of the transfer Kostas Giggs goes and say he always dreamt to play for Man City and can't wait to wear the blue jersey. Then doing whatever he can to suck up their corrupt president. He does well and 2 years later he brings bags of money for them with his transfer. After leaving the country he returns to watch Man City games and uses catchphrases on the social media that the hooligans of City use. This is Kostas "Giggs" Manolas. A terrible person who would sell his mother for money (many players left clubs for rivals, but i don't remember anyone having been a childhood fan behaving like this disgustingly for money), and a massively overrated(for top clubs)CB. You can check the wikipedia page also.
  10. I'm curious, what is your opinion of Manolas, before i state mine?
  11. Sadly no, we would if Sevilla won barcelona in the Cup too, but they couldn't.. I guess we're gonna have a difficult seed to get in since we haven't played in Europe the last years. Yeah i made a post in the greek topic just below this one, read it haha And i also saw the result for the portugese cup that day and i thought about pedro in heaven, but i didn't know you hadn't lift a trophy for 50 years, which is even more exciting! The Europa final and general good european presence in EL and CL had me thinking you would have won some cups here and there
  12. Congrats pedro, real nice to hear stories like that. The dedicated fans of these clubs really truly deserve it! So this year we're both cup winners
  13. What bayern is doing is a shame and under the belt really.
  14. Yesterday AEK Athens beat for the 2nd time this year olympiacos in the cup final and lifted the trophy, after just this year return to the top league division. I already have analysed the Greek championship and the so-called monarchy of olympiacos and how this has happened in another thread. What's easy to say is that without the referees olympiacos possibly could not win a team by a nearby cafeteria. It's funny to see this small video, which is of the final minutes of the game, after they had scored the 2-1 goal at the 84th minute. They dive like cheapwhores, BUT it seems for the first time in 20 years that things might change. MIGHT. Not sure yet, there's a lot to happen. But postponing the final for 2-3 weeks by the State, because the Greek Federation and olympiacos tried to force not international referees of their choice for the match, was a big step forward. Finally they agreed the referee being the top international one(like WHY they would not want that? For obvious reasons) or the final would never happen at all. And then this happens . The desperate look they have when they don't take their usual dive-fouls is priceless. All these divings are always a foul for them, and possibly a yellow card too. You can even see their stupid coach Marco Silva (not as stupid hooligan ######head like Pereira though) getting angry for these not called. So funny just once seeing 50-50 refereeing.. Finally. They are completely useless and utter garbage without the refs. Anyway AEK forever
  15. Yes an unmanaged division (relegations and stuff) is far more interesting
  16. I'm fine with the tweaks. Will we play with the original teams, or empty squads? I'd prefer the originals
  17. I'm always reading, especially my team's write-ups, nice to see them!
  18. It's actually Ionikos, not Ionokis, it hurts my eyes to see that, sorry It hurts also that Darren is so succesful
  19. Instead of doing that, why don't you randomize number all the teams too, that's easier and cleaner
  20. Anyone wanting to learn very few things about UEFA and FIFA dealings should just read this http://www.insideworldfootball.com/2016/04/08/matt-scott-latest-greek-affair-shows-infantino-theodoridis-not-knights-shining-armour/ Related 3+4 are good reads too
  21. I'm interested in that, hope i can fit in
  22. Uefalona as always. Suarez should be taken-off twice (double kick on Godin, and hitting Filipe Luis). Instead he is on the pitch and scores twice. On the other hand an easy red on the 35' minute, in a game that the first half was like a picnic for Atletico. The game of football in general sadly is corrupt in all levels, it's very easy to make results your way, especially with good teams. Outsiders as years pass have less and less chances, they just don't let them. Disgrace
  23. Very nice reports to read mate! Not so very nice performance from my team hmmm
  24. hey buddy our AEK is not available, the new rules say for a team with a max stadium of 25.000
