    Watford up or down??
A conversation has been caught on tape between watford manager craig sinclair his best mate danny dyer. While sitting in a Newcastle Casino stuffing wads of £50s down a dancers knickers and snorting a good looking crystal white powder they where caught talking about how watfords season is going!!
Sinclair spoke about a few of Watfords newest signings including Yohan cabaye and Alexander Buttner and almost confided in Danny that he is worried about watfords current standing of 6th place in league 3.
Sinclair said 'i am worried about the clubs place in league 3, even tho there is only one point between 3rd placed cardiff and bottom placed Dnipro its so tight anyone could go down' later adding 'all the clubs in the league have a strongish squad and everyone has a chance of being the team to claim 3rd and a spot on the playoffs but also every team has a chance of being in that bottom 2'
On his new signings sinclair spoke of a drug fueled party in a Miami mansion during pre season where he was introduced to an agent who has helped push through deals for Cabaye, Buttner and the 2 Brazilians Silva and Fred. Sinclair also added 'i am quite pleased with squad as a whole but i no the defence needs help and we do have a player in mind who we are talking to' that player now believed to be dejan lovren.
After the night out the 2 were spotted leaving the casino in a taxi with 2 women now believed to be the wife and grandmother of one prince william. A source close the family said both denied this accusation as neither could remember what happened tat nite other than the grandmother woke with a sticky white substance around her mouth!!!!

    THE NEW SEASON!!!!

The new season is here for Watford (yep I no it’s late) and I have started off pretty shat!!!

After what seemed to be a near perfect pre season racking up 5 wins out of 5 and only conceding 2 goals we went and lost 2v1 to a very good Birmingham team. I was hoping to build on last season after only missing out on promotion on the final day and then losing the play off to betis. A very good betis side at that.

During the summer I have had very little money to strengthen my squad and even considered begging on the corners of Watford town centre for extra cash, this failed and did not get any new first team players in. More recently a bid came in for the aging Florent malouda and he was shipped on for just over 9 million pounds. This has given me the funds to now push on and bring some new blood into a team which really needs it.

I am also spending a lot of time looking at and working with the young under 21s of Watford and we have some really good prospects on our books, Romelu lukaku, Nathan Redmond and Mario Sampirisi to name a few. Hopefully these players can get into the team and give us some strength in depth.

Looking forward to this season i am hoping a nice little cup run may be in the offering and that the new players I bring in can prove to be the catalyst to a excellent season for Watford. I am expecting Lukaku and Cisse to bring the goals in and the bags of experience of Brad Friedel to keep a team of young heads level and on course.........

    SO THERE'S 5 GAMES LEFT!!!!!!
Coming to towards the end of the season we all have 5 games left, so now is the time when titles, promotions, and relegation can be decided. So a little run down of this weeks matches and what clubs need to do to finish this season off well!!
    Division 1 - Turn 10
    [/url]
The top clash of the week seems to be Atalanta v West brom, 3rd v 1st. West brom are 6 points clear of Atalanta and seem to have the title all wrapped up, apart from the challenge of 2nd placed hannover whos squad consists of league top scorer Van Der Vaart. They play 2nd bottom swansea a point adrift of safety. Wigan in my eyes are all but down bottom of the league on only 5 points and 5 adrift of safety, can anyone see them pulling off a huge upset and staying up? not me!!!
League prediction..... Hannover for title, west brom 2nd. wigan and either swansea or leeds for drop.
    Division 2 - Turn 10
Division 2 is far from wrapped up, any of cardiff, sochaux or celtic could take the title along with promotion to the top league.
Cardiff play bottom of the league orient, looks a easy win for cardiff (i would weee myself laughing if they lost). sochaux play celtic in what could be a very close encounter and leave the winners cardiffs only real competition for the title. Down the bottom Orient look dead a buried with 1 point from 9 games and any of the remaining four teams could go with them, by the way they all play each other tomorrow.
League predictions - Cardiff for title if they beat orient. sochaux and celtic to battle the promotion play off. orient gone and manager less mainz to follow them down
    Division 3 - Turn 10
Divison 3 looks to be a straight fight between the top 2 monaco and basel. Monaco have a battle with relegation threatened chievo (who won that cheap w**k cup this week) and basel look to shrug off 3rd placed southampton, can basel keep the chase up or is it just to late? Down at the bottom braintree and leicester 8th and 7th respectively face each other and a loss for either team looks to send them down.
League predictions - Monaco to beat chievo and win the league, basel to finish 2nd and win the playoff against either southampton or trabzonspor.
relegation i feel braintree are all but gone and leicester could be the ones to follow ith there poor goal scoreing record.
    Division 4 - Turn 10
The title is still wide open in league 4, current leaders watford, Blackburn and forest green all still in with a chance. watford face a tough task away at real betis. Blackburn away a sofia is not easy and forest green play Birmingham at home who could also force there way into the top 3 with a win. Lens look to be finishing bottom the league and face a tough game at home to promotion chasing Blackpool who could also force there way into the play offs.
League prediction - Watford to take the title on the final day and Blackburn to follow them up. lens bottom!!!

NEAR PERFECT PRE SEASON FOR WATFORD
After a change of manager at the end of last season and introducing Craig Sinclair as the new man to take them forward, Watford have had a very impressive pre season. It all started with a huge overhaul of there squad with only 3 players remaining from the squad that was relegated to division 4. A combination of big name signing and a batch of youth talent brought in by Sinclair has given the fans a huge boost for a very pivotal season. The new names on the fans lips include papiss cisse, romelu lukaku, abel hernandez and Georginio Wijnaldum, then you throw in the experience of brad friedel, diego lugano and florent maluda Watford look very strong.
Pre season started with a bang a quality 3v2 victory over sochaux (lukaku 2, denilson) followed by a 0v0 with hertha berlin set the pace. then came three 2v0 victorys over leicester (cisse, denilson) blackpool (santana, cisse) and Leeds united (denilson 2).
Pre season comments by Sinclair indicate the board look to stableise a club who looked lost and gone before sinclairs appointment. Sinclair thinks he has a very good squad and looks to push for promotion back to division 3. Either way we look to have a very exciting season infront of us watching watford.

    End of Season Transfer Report/Gossip

After a busy initial period in the GW when it started and a few more comings and goings over the course of the season, Sky Sports took the chance to speak to each manager briefly and find out who had been their best purchase, who was one for the future, who hadn't performed to expectations and where the teams were likely to strengthen over the coming season.

    Division 1

    West Brom:
Absolutely nothing remains of the original team that Kevin V took over at the start of the campaign, every single player in the team currently has been brought in with the likes of Alonso, Dzeko, Carrick, Marchisio, Melo, Koscielny, Richards, Cahill and De Gea now strutting their stuff at The Hawthorns its not hard to see why West Brom won the Division comfortably
Best Purchase: I would have to say Edin Dzeko. Has bagged 9 goals in 12 appearances. Has 1/4 of our goals this season(36). The leading scorer for Division 1. Two MoM awards. Great guy to have.
Player(s) to improve next season: I expect Marchisio(91), Koscielny(90), Cahill(89) to all get at least a +1 next rating changes. Marchisio has bagged 6 goals as well. Great to see a midfielder scoring.
Player not living upto expectations: Don't really have a player who hasn't lived up to their expectations. They've all been doing well thus it is the reason why we are in 1st place. Love all my lads.
Where would you like to strengthen the squad/team for next season: Will be looking to improve my defense up a little bit. Possibly get a strong defender to lead the defense. Up front and in the midfield, we look pretty solid but it never hurts to improve there as well.
    Leeds United:
Leeds haven't brought in any major stars this season but have instead opted for a squad built on youth and potential, and they have impressed majorly in their debut season finishing 2nd, with the likes of Walker, Strootman, Rondon, Courtois, Varane, Ola, Caulker and Shelvey providing the backbone to a young talented team. Leeds also have a talented youth team to look forward to blooding over the next few seasons.
Best Purchase: Greatest signing for me so far has been Ola John. 5 goals & 5 assists has been a key contribution to our surprise success so far this season.
Player(s) to improve next season: I'm keen to see how a lot of my first team develop over the coming seasons. I expect the likes of Varane, Courtois, Narsingh & Strootman to contribute more individually & collectively.
Player not living upto expectations: Salomon Rondon hasn't fulfilled the role expected at the club. For a centre forward to only average 1 goal every 3 games, especially given how many chances we create, is bordering on pathetic.
Where would you like to strengthen the squad/team for next season: I think Leeds need to strengthen in most areas in order to have more squad depth. Injuries or suspensions are leaving big gaps at the moment. 1 key area for strengthening will be upfront. We've had superior possession & chances in a lot of matches, but no real poacher to lead the line effectively & hit the onion bag.
    Hannover 96:
With a total of 12 new faces coming in and a lot of old faces heading out, Hannover no longer resemble the team of last season, instead the likes of Modric, Toure, Mata, Van der Vaart, Carvalho, Abidal, Barry and Badstuber now make Hannover a solid but exciting team to watch
Best Purchase: Rafael Van Der Vaart has been immense for Hannover this season, Barry has been solid in midfield also
Player(s) to improve next season: Lindergaard really needs to improve in goal
Player not living upto expectations: Palacio hasn't scored enough and Lindergaard has let in too many
Where would you like to strengthen the squad/team for next season: I think we need a prolific striker and possibly someone to challenge Lindergaard in goal, other then that a general depth to the squad is needed
    Deportivo:
Deportivo have bucked the trend also and stayed loyal to their Spanish roots with many of their players being of the same nationality as the team. Alboil and Iraol top the bill for the team which also has the likes of Del Moral, Reyes, Herra, Ruiz, Cellejon, Thiago and Rodrigo. They do however have a lot of players on loan and that could impact them next season
Best Purchase: Thiago is my best signing
Player(s) to improve next season: Happy with the majority of my squad that i'd expect to also improve, players like Itursspe, Callejon and Adrian have stood out.
Player not living up to expectations: Not really anyone who hasnt lived up to expectations.
Where would you like to strengthen the squad/team for next season: Squad depth will need improving, I lose a lot of loans and have no money, could struggle next year.
    Parma:
The signing of Robin Van Persie by Parma showed their clear intentions coming into the season, however it has taken some time for RVP to gel and rumour has it he may be on his way out of Parma if his performances don't improve. Manager Sean Fitzpatrick has also added the likes of Joe Hart in goal and Martinez, Arbeloa, Marin, Bender, Alba, Mollo, Nastasic and Niang to the team
Best Purchase: Jordi Alba – been a rock on the left hand side
Player(s) to improve next season: Emanuel Herrera – had a top start with 3 goals and 3 assists in 3 games, and will only get better
Player not living upto expectations: RVP has flopped – and will probably be sold ASAP
Where would you like to strengthen the squad/team for next season: Need some better reserve’s.
    Swansea City:
Swansea have been very active in the market, and have added major stars to their team, the signing of Falcao was seen as a masterpiece by many in the club and adding the likes of Gameiro, Nene, Luiz, Lescott, Stekelenburg, Dembele, Garcia and Cleverley has added defensive strength and attacking creativity to an already strong side.
Best Purchase: I'd say Falcao purely for him being at a club like Swansea.
Player(s) to improve next season: Stekelenburg - hasn't performed the best but can be solid, will look for him to improve next season.
Player not living upto expectations: Leichsteiner - has been to injury prone
Where would you like to strengthen the squad/team for next season: General depth, in defence and on the wings mainly.
    Cardiff City
Struggling Cardiff have brought in 8 players for the 1st team, with the passionate and often volatile Mario Balotelli leading the line up front, others include Griezmann, Papadopoulos, Munoz, Aurtenetex, Pereira and Leno. Predicted for relegation by many it will be a struggle to turn the team into a title challenging or promotion team.
Best Purchase: Following the departure of some older members, we were in need of a star goal scorer to take us forward. and I think we have found that person in Balotelli whom, with experience, will settle more as a player and a person.
Player(s) to improve next season: Others I expect to improve are Griezmann, Papadopoulos and Autenetxe
Player not living up to expectations: No comment (All of them - Scott?)
Where would you like to strengthen the squad/team for next season: We will need to strengthen all areas of the field in the future, perhaps starting with the Defence. yet, Cardiff isn't a rich club and it will take time.
    Celtic:
Suprising relegation candidates Celtic have signed 4 players into the 1st team and a few more to add to the reserve and youth teams. Eden Hazard is their star man but has spent a lot of time on the sidelines with injury for which the Hoops have suffered because of. With the strength of the teams in the Division below it is not certain that Celtic will be able to come back up now they are relegated. None the less the likes of De Jong, Cissokho, Vargas and Joe Ledley will be hoping the Hoops can bounce back next season.
Best Purchase: Eden Hazard - shame he's already been injured due to the hatchet men of the SPL and the philosophy of other managers to kick style and ability out of our game!!
Player(s) to improve next season: I would be hoping quite a few of the original squad would be improving such as Wanyama, Forrest etc. Thank goodness it doesn't relate to SM form or they'd all be rated below 80...
Player not living upto expectations: No such thing. I never make a bad signing. Jeez, that would be like admitting I got something wrong. (the fact your going down would suggest the entire team really - Scott)
Where would you like to strengthen the squad/team for next season: Team needs to improve defensively. Something I am already looking into. And it will help if we can keep our star man on the pitch for the majority of matches.
Scott Samuels would like to thank ALL managers that have taken part in the report

    NOT GOOD ENOUGH
So it's over, a turbulent season for every club in this part of the world and a season that Leicester City manager Sam Wainwright wants to forget about right away and look forward to next season. Upon seeing his side comfortably beat Trabzonspor in their final league game of the season, Wainwright was anything but upbeat about his teams season: "We had our ups and downs and despite winning more than we lost, I still feel we let the fans down, I just want to move on to next season and put this season behind us, it's finished now and I'm proud of my team, but we didn't do enough."
This comes after Wainwrights team finished 5th in Division 3 and 4 points off the play offs. Adding to his comments, when asked about transfers he stated; "We've been given some cash in the injection but I doubt it'd pay for the buffet at an ASBO wedding. We would love to bring in cover for the first team as I found us struggling with depth last season."

    THE PLAYERS SEASON LOWDOWN

    GOALKEEPERS

    Javi Varas, 30, Spanish:
Varas had a off season as Leicesters number 1 playing 14 games and conceding 18 goals. Varas had just 3 league clean sheets to his name this season and will be looking to improve on the tally next season. Rumours are that Wainwright could be looking to replace the shot-stopper if he doesn't start improving.
Conrad Logan, 26, Republic of Ireland:
Logan will have been disappointed not to have made a single appearance this season and will be pushing for that number one spot that Varas has yet to claim as his own. Logan isn't getting any younger and rumours are he's moving on.

    DEFENDERS

    Tom Kennedy, 27, England:
The English left back can be happy with the amount of games he found himself playing this season after the arrival of Davide Santon and Ivan Marcano. However, Kennedy has played 5 league games and 3 cup games in which he scored 1 goal. Kennedy will be pleased with the season he's had, and so will his manager.
Davide Santon, 21, Italy (STAR MAN):
Santon has won his teams "Star Man" award for this seasons performances. Santon played a total of 10 games and was a prominent and key figure in the defence this season. Wainwright himself spoke out about Santon: "He's a quality young player and when I signed him I was in disbelief that we persuaded such a great young talent to join our club. He has done brilliant for us this season and I can only hope he keeps up his performance for next season."
    Rod Fanni, 30, France:
Rod Fanni had a good season for Leicester playing a total of 12 games for his club. He will want to make sure his Right Back position is cemented for next season with the likes of Phil Neville and Davide Santon able to fill the gap if needs be. Fanni's physicality and aggression could do with coming down a little though as he picked up 3 yellow cards in the league this season.
    Phil Neville, 35, England:
The Leicester veteran filled his boots this season featuring 11 times for his club and though not getting on the score sheet he managed to pick up a couple of assists and the legend does the job he's told to do to perfection, a talisman-like figure and a sure fire bet to be vice-captain this season.
    Iván Marcano, 25, Spain:
The swift Spaniard featured in 11 of Leicesters matches this season and some would say Marcano was their most consistent player in the league this season. Though Marcano did not contribute to any of the goals scored, he still did his defensive duties perfectly week in week out and manager Wainwright will surely be happy with the performances he has put in this season.
    Aleksandar Lukovic, 30, Serbia:
Lukovic played 8 games for Leicester this season and was one of the weaker performers in this seasons campaigns. It shows that Rodrigo Alex and Iván Marcano are still the number 1 centre backs and Lukovic will need to drastically improve on his performances next season if he wants to play more games.
    Rodrigo Alex, 30, Brazil:
11 games played, 11 brilliant performances from the big Brazilian. Did his duties down to a tee and will be proud of his first full season in the Foxes ranks. Wainwright told us: "What a player he is, I wanted him and he wanted to play here, he joined, he performed and I held my mouth open in awe at some of his bulldozing tackles. He shows the hunger, desire and passion of the game in every match he plays, a proper leader."
    Ritchie De Laet, 23, Belgium:
This years surprise package. Played 6 games in total for Leicester and looked comfortable in the middle of the park in most games and from going from a cert to leave at the start of the season has moved himself into the team and proven his worth.

    MIDFIELDERS

    Blaise Matuidi, 25, France:
Despite having an injury that kept him out for 2 weeks, Blaise Matuidi still managed to play 11 games for Leicester this season, scoring 2 goals and assisting 3. Matuidi just missed out on the Leicester Star Man award this season after some scintillating matches from the Frenchman. Matuidi is now established as one of the first names on the team sheet on match days.
    Mehmet Akgun, 26, Germany:
Akgun performed when he needed to this season. Despite only featuring in 5 league games and 2 cup games, Akgun still managed a goal and was hailed as brilliant during his game against Trabzonspor. Akgun has reportedly seeked an improvement on his current contract and has expressed his desire to stay at the club and help Leicester City succeed in promotion.
    Antonio Nocerino, 27, Italy:
The talismanic midfielder turned out in 11 matches for Leicester scoring a single goal and picking up 2 yellows. Nocerino himself though, was disappointed with his performance this season, in a recent interview he told us; "I felt I didn't perform as well as I know I can this season, I picked up a knock in pre-season and I haven't felt the same since, now we are on vacation for a couple of weeks I will give it a lot of rest and hope to come back next season fitter than ever."
    Fernando Belluschi, 29, Argentina:
Belluschi played 10 games for Leicester City this season, scoring 3 goals and assisting the 1. Belluschi has cemented himself into the starting 11 in recent weeks and only missed Trabzonspor's match due to an injury and physios have said he should hopefully be back at the start of November.
    Burakcan Kúnt, 20, Turkey:
Kúnt managed to play 11 games for the Foxes this season despite only being 20 years of age in which he got 2 goals and 2 assists. Upon his first season in Division 3 he told us: "I really didn't expect to play, I mean, I feel I'm utter rubbish but for some strange reason the gaffer had so much faith in him and I felt I owed it to him to show that he made the right decision to play me so often." Wainwright unveiled the reason he played Burakcan so often in a later interview: "He's sexy."
    Jonathan Pitroipa, 26, Burkina Faso:
Pitroipa's season was marred by a succession of injuries and in the end he only managed 6 games. However he did still manage to pick up the single goal and 3 assists in those 6 games. Pitroipa will want to keep his fitness in the coming season and help his team to chase promotion, if he has a hand in 4 goals in the 6 games he played, how much could he contribute if he had played all season?
    Paul Gallagher, 28, Scotland:
Though only a fringe player nowadays, Gallagher seems rather upbeat about his position at the club and feels he is happy where he is: "I've had other offers but I love Leicester City Football Club and it's fans, I'd never want to leave and would only leave if I was forced out." However earlier on today a statement came from the LCFC claiming: "Paul Gallagher has been transfer listed by the club to bring in more funds for the development of the team."
    Emmanuel Riviére, 22, France:
Another player whose season was ravaged by injury. Riviére will have been disappointed with his first season and lack of games. Emmanuel turned out in just 1 match at the start of the season and within that match was injured and was on the sidelines for an astonishing 5 weeks. With that Riviére was virtually out for the season and Leicester had to look at their fringe players for cover. Hopefully Riviére can this season play more than a measly 60 minutes.
    Goran Pandev, 29, Macedonia:
Goran Pandev was the forefront of everything that is Leicester City this season. Playing 14 games and scoring 3 goals with 3 assists, Pandev was always in the spotlight. His performances were consistent and he was in great form. Wainwright has already expressed his desire at seeing Pandev play again this season and he only hopes that the Macedonian can score a few more goals.

    FORWARDS

    Gonçalves Jonas, 28, Brazil:
3 goals in 7 games in the league for Jonas would be considered as a good turnover. Unless of course, you're Jonas or his manager. It is said that both were disappointed in his lack of goals and since the end of the season Wainwright has apparently had sit down talks with Jonas and wants to see him become more selfish next season and start shooting more. Lets hope it works.
    Jermain Defoe, 30, England:
4 goals in 9 games in the league for Defoe would also be considered as a good ratio. But once again Wainwright has grilled Defoe over his lack of shots and glaucoma induced shooting. Speaking to us 2 weeks ago, Wainwright told us; "His shooting has been pathetic, he couldn't hit a child with a tank that lad. I told him to pick it up in training and would you believe it he started crying. I think it's his time of the month." However Defoe is another player who agrees his form was off: "I told the gaffer I was unhappy with my performances and he totally agreed, which made me happy, I've not felt comfortable yet here but I'm determined to fit in a prove that I'm the best striker ever to walk the planet."
