  1. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread Now that El Hamdaoui has joined the club I'm sticking him up front for his debut against Millwall, keeping Delgado on right wing for the time being, to cover for Welliton and Beckham's injuries respectively. Also, Slaven Bilic on MOTD2? Awesome but weird!
  2. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. I like the idea of not doing transfers until after the first match, as it gives everyone time to set their targets, and then imagine the bidding wars on the players from there on in!
  3. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. ................... Well, my old headteacher always said I liked a challenge.
  4. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. How about me first and everyone else later?
  5. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread After 3 days of a fun bidding war, Coventry City sign Mounir El Hamdaoui from AZ Alkmaar, for a fee of £4m plus Christian Bermudez and Alen Pamic.
  6. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. Hope I get either Bremen or a Division 4 team.
  7. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. Is it not possible for anyone else to pick a team now?

  14. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. Was about to mention Bremen, would have them if they were in it. Lovely midfield.
  15. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. Keep CSKA in, I say.
  16. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. Juventus?.
  17. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. On the subject of clubs, no Panathinaikos or PSG? Also, can I ask to have CFR Cluj in there? And Maccabi Haifa.
  18. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread.
  19. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. I vote 'Yes' to squad caps.
  20. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread That is what I like to see! Coventry beat Burnley 4-0 to win their second game in three. The goals came from Miguel Danny, Fabio Simplicio, Guiseppe Rossi and Cesar Delgado. Glad to see both Danny and Delgado score, as they were both playing in their secondary position of Wing, and I was playing them more at LM and RM than the wings, so I have confidence in playing them there again. Welliton now out for 3 weeks so may push Delgado back up front and stick Susaeta or Hunt out at RM, unless Becks is back from injury. Will now go and check
  21. Re: Football Manager 2010 As we know, Coventry won (as usual) against Crystal Palace, after David Bell came on with 20 minutes to go and chipped the winner. Now, on to FM. Still top of the CCC, had Newcastle next, at St. James. I decided to stick the lads at the back a bit deeper than usual, because Toon were going to be rampant on their own turf. Next, I decided to play Coro alongside Zaki, who returned to England on the back of a successful African Cup of Nations. The reason I stuck these two on up front was to use their pace to hopefully carve out some one-on-one chances. The first half
  22. Re: Fox hunters and young Conservatives custom set-up - discussion thread. Why can't it be called the "Thatcher's On Strike!" Championship?
  23. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread I dunno, as I said, that's all I heard. But still, £3 is still a bit much.
  24. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread London is anything but fair. £5 a sodding pint, so I've heard.
