  1. Re: Scott Loach As predicted, he went up to 83 today I am going to keep hold of him for now as he has played every league game so far this season for Watford. It maybe interesting to see what happens in the January transfer window, I am sure I read somewhere that Tottenham were keeping an eye on him.
  2. Re: Scott Loach With the English ratings around the corner I thought I would update my old post. Scott has cemented himself as the Watford No 1 Keeper now. Watford may currently be sitting 12th in the Championship, but a rise is more than guaranteed for Scott. He has played every minute of Watford's 16 league games this season, add that to 30 league appearances last season and we can see he is doing very well. He may only get a plus 2 or 3 but is a player to keep an eye on. I am sure some of the big boys will come knocking soon if he keeps playing well.
  3. Re: Scott Loach Went up to 81 today, not bad at all!
  4. Re: English ratings starting !
  5. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... I have been offered £6,500,000 plus Sabrosa SIMAO for Aleksandr HLEB, deal or no deal? I know HLEB has a good chance of going down to 92, what chance has SIMAO have of rising to 94?
  6. Re: Scott Loach Loach was the star man in today's 0-0 draw with Ipswich. Below are after match quotes from Watford manager Brendan Rodgers: "Scott deserved his clean sheet after making some excellent saves. He's a wonderful prospect for the future and he's always willing to learn. "He comes in every day with a hunger and determination and he's got all the attributes to be a top goalkeeper. "He's a good athlete and gets around the box, but he also makes saves - which is the bottom line." As always, I have updated his stats on the first post.
  7. Re: Which 90+ rated players will rise?
  8. Re: Which 90+ rated players will rise? Is Gamberini a definate riser to 92? I am in a setup where higher rated players are hard to come by, but he is available, worth a buy do you think?
  9. Re: Scott Loach He will def rise more than that, Ledesema went up to an 80 in last English changes and had only played 10 games.
  10. Re: Scott Loach Well he is racking up the stats now, and Watford have not been doing too badly winning 4 of their last 5 games. This season's stats (including today's 3-2 win over Charlton) League: 19 starts 1 sub appearance (1741 mins played) League Cup: 4 starts (360 mins played) FA Cup: 3 starts (270 mins played) So if you haven't got him already you should snap him up, as he will be a good riser. What sort of rating do you think he will rise to? I reckon he has to be on for an 81/82 at least.
  11. Re: Fabio and Rafael da Silva - Man Utd's Brazilian Twins From the BBC website: Man Utd hit by Rafael injury blow Man Utd hit by Rafael injury blow Manchester United full-back Rafael has been ruled out for up to a month with a fractured ankle. The 18-year-old Brazilian, who will now miss Sunday's Carling Cup final, picked up the injury in last week's 2-1 win over Blackburn. "He's out for a month with a hairline fracture of his ankle," United boss Sir Alex Ferguson told the club website. "It's a blow because he's been playing in all the cup games and he's done so well. He deserves to be in the final."
  12. Re: Liverpool's Future Talents I was just about to create a new player talent thread for Peter Gulacsi who is currently on loan to Hereford. But doubt it will be worth my while as I expect TomOwen will be writing about him soon enough?
  13. I have done a search on the forums obviously there are a few Ferreiras, but couldn't find any for Fabio Ferreira. Not currently on the DB but could be added soon after joining Oldham on an initial one month loan. Fabio FERREIRA Rating: Not on DB Position: W Age: 19 D.O.B: 03/05/89 Nationality: Portugese Club: Oldham (on loan from Chelsea) Signs for Chelsea Signed in the summer of 2005 from Sporting Lisbon, Fabio is a Portugal Under 19 international who plays wide on the right but can also play down the middle. He turned pro in July 2006 having impressed with his pace during the second half of his first season playing for Chelsea reserves. He played 12 times last year in the reserves, frequently on the right of a three but last season was hampered by injury that kept him out between October and March. Joins Oldham on loan On 20/02/09 he joined League One side Oldham Athletic on a one-month loan deal. He has moved to Boundary Park after a successful trial period in the North West. However Ferreira has not joined the Latics in time to feature in Saturday's trip to Yeovil but will be available for Tuesday's visit of Bristol Rovers.
  14. Re: Scott Loach Mart Poom is Watford's number 1 but is currently out injured for 6 months with a dislocated arm. Could be interesting to see if Poom gets his place back when he is fully fit. I guess it could depend on their postion in the league and if they feel they need more experience between the posts. Another appearance for Loach tonight in their 2-0 win over Swansea' date=' check out the first post for his updated stats.[/b']
  15. Re: Scott Loach Oh yes so it was, sorry my fault, I mis-read the result. LOL! I have amended it now.
  16. Re: Scott Loach Well he made an appearance for England U21's against Ecuador in their 3-2 loss coming on as a sub on 88 minutes, so probably didn't get a chance to make any impression. As I stated earlier in the week he is in the starting eleven to face Chelsea playing right now.
  17. Re: Emmanuel Jorge Ledesema On 4th Feb Ledesma left QPR and returned home to Genoa after his loan agreement was terminated by mutual consent. He has since joined Serie B side Salernitana in a half-season loan move. I cannot find his total amount of minutes for Q.P.R, but here are his final stats for them: Championship Apps 17 Starts 11 on as Sub 6 1 Goal 5 Yellow Cards 1 Red Card Carling Cup Apps 4 Starts 3 on as Sub 1 3 Goals 1 Yellow Card FA Cup Apps 2 Starts 1 on as Sub 1 Total Apps 23 Starts 15 on as Sub 8 4 Goals 6 Yellow Cards 1 Red Card
  18. Re: Lee Sawyer Thanks for updating his stats, I forgot all about this post that I started!!
  19. Re: Scott Loach Since my post he has played full games against Bristol City and QPR. So in the league he has now played 10 full games and 1 sub appearance. I will update the first post to reflect his appearances.
  20. Re: Scott Loach Thanks for your help Seftinho, that makes his profile look better now.
  21. Re: Scott Loach Thats what you get from copying and pasting from old post, I forgot to update his age!! Any idea what I need to do to get his picture showing?
  22. I originally mentioned him when he was added to the DB in this post here, but as he has started playing games for Watford I thought he was worthy of his own post. Scott LOACH Rating: 73 Position: G Age: 20 Nationality: English Club: Watford Early career Loach was born in Nottingham and was a member of the academy at Ipswich Town before joining Lincoln City as a 15-year-old, becoming an apprentice in summer 2004. During his time at Sincil Bank, Loach spent a number of periods on work experience with non-league sides. In August 2004 he joined Bourne Town. He went to Boston Town in January 2005, a spell that was extended until the end of the 2005–06 season. In August 2005 he had a spell with Spalding United, before ending the month with a two game spell with Stamford. In November 2005 he returned to Boston Town, while in March 2006 he went to Grantham Town. Joins Watford Despite being offered professional terms at Lincoln City, Loach joined Watford on trial in April 2006, officially signing professional terms for Watford in June with Lincoln City receiving a transfer fee of £50,000. In pre-season 2007 he was on trial at Leeds United with a view to a loan move, but it did not come to fruition. Goes out on loan In September 2007 he joined Conference side Stafford Rangers on loan for a month. His loan was extended to three months, and he played a total of league 11 games for Stafford. He joined Morecambe on loan in January 2008 initially for a month, making his debut on 1 January in a 2–1 defeat to Stockport County. He made only one more league appearance for Morecambe, during which he saved a penalty from Macclesfield Town's Martin Gritton, before he returned to Watford after just two weeks. At the end of the month he joined Bradford City, another League Two club, on loan until the end of the 2007–08 season as replacement for Donovan Ricketts, who was expected to move to Queens Park Rangers until he was refused a work permit. Loach made his debut a day after joining Bradford, conceding twice in their 4–2 victory over Shrewsbury Town. He followed it up five days later with a clean sheet against Macclesfield Town after he saved a second penalty at Moss Rose in as many months. In total he played 20 games for Bradford City during his loan spell. 2008/9 Season At the end of the 2007/08 season he returned to Watford, where initially he started the new season sat on the bench, apart from playing in a couple of league cup games. Loach made his league debut as a substitute on 20 September 2008 when he came on to replace Mart Poom in the fourth minute of a game against Reading. Loach conceded his first goal in controversial circumstances when the referee and linesman gave a goal instead of a corner. Poom is out for 6 months after dislocating his arm in the Reading game, and since then Loach hasn't looked back. This season's stats (as at 21/03/09) League: 23 starts 1 sub appearance (2103 mins played) League Cup: 4 starts (360 mins played) FA Cup: 3 starts (270 mins played) He didn't get a rating change in the last English rating reviews, but he must be due a rise of some sort come the next round of English ratings.
