The Austrian David Beckham Has Landed!

    -----> (Undisclosed Fee)
Today Inter Milan announced the signing of Andreas Ivanschitz for an undisclosed fee. Ivanschitz has brought more depth to the woefully shallow winger department, and will prove to be a hit with the other players and fans.
He has already challenged Ismael Bangoura for the Left Midfield spot, and with manager Milligan looking for a more natural left footer, he's probably won too. Rumours around Milan have said that Ivanschitz forced Sofaine Feghouli out, due to his lack of form and match Practice.
"Andreas is almost certain to start our next match on sunday night. We do not expect big things from him yet, but hopefully he can provide stability to the shaky left flank".

Horrific start sees Job on the line

"If someone said to me, you will have no points after the first 3 games of the season, I would have laughed at them." - Milligan
At the start of the season, Inter Milan were favourites to win promotion after a 4 season long battle. Their squad seemed to have finally gelled, goals were flying in, and some nifty transfers were performed. Who would back against them?
The answer? Their form. 3 successive defeats from their first 3 games see them lie joint bottom, with a goal difference of -3. Karim Benzema is already suspended, and Javier Zanetti is already out for a lengthy period. To add insult to injury, Maxwell is also sidelined.
This leaves Milligan a serious problem. Unfortunately his squad lacks depth of players who have had lots of match-experience. He has players who in a years time will be stars, but he needs more star quality as backup.
"The sale of Sulley Muntari was a very bad idea. However Demy De Zeeuw will soon have filled the spot, I just wish that he would fill it quicker."
A statement issued by the board says that Inter Milan will sell no more players until the crisis has been Resolved. But for now, his job hangs precariously in the balance.

    Inter Manager Backs LRFA

Today Inter manager Milligan pledged his full support for the LRFA regarding the "Loanee" scandal. Milligan said, "What has happened has been fair justice. The Ministry must remain strong, and the iron fist has been brought down upon the offending clubs. I fully support the actions taken, the clubs need to get on with it now, and hopefully bounce back."
Milligan announces the signing of Joleon Lescott for a minimal fee. Lescott was greatly needed at Inter as a shortage of defenders has led to leaky goals.

That Daniel Fletcher is the sort of people you don't want in our community, you want people to build, not to destroy
Some of his language is disgusting, and its a darn right shame their weren't a mod in at the time, coz these sort of people should be banned
Anyway, tis funny how Tom is winding him up :L

Aguero: I saw Kylan attack Kangaroos!
Sergio Aguero has today spoken on how he saw Kylan attack 6 Kangaroos whilst he was on holiday in pre season. Aguero confirmed he was in Australia recovering from his injury picked up against Lyon last season when he noticed Kylan attempting to shove a kangaroo into his empty packet of crisps. He said:
Aguero was speaking after his 74th minute goal sealed a 5-4 win against Barcelona last night.

    Barcelona Appoint New Leader!

Today Barcelona parted company with former leader Liam Smith, stating his poor performance was the main factor behind his departure.
This was swiftly followed by the search for a new manger to take the helm.
Allan MUFC was then chosen to be the man to lead Barcelona to glory and fight la Résistance.
He was quick to state he had big plans for the team and would be looking to improve the quality of his team, but also the stlye off football produced. Messi is not for sale and i have no plans to sell Xavi or Eto'o. I may be willing to listen to offers for Kieta and Pandev or wiliing to part with them for a Winger or RM/LM

    Milan preparing for new season!
After failing to get promotion in the past 2 seasons Milan have decided to chill out for the pre season. Some of the players were involved in a recent rap contest and their message is clear for the up and coming season.

    The chorus went like this
" Ima pop a cap in yo ***
Cos we are good to pass
    when we release our gas
so we gunna beat you down
    by showin our frowns
    lookin like clowns
    by takin ya to town!!!!"

Man Utd Seal The Division 2 Title in Emphatic Style!

Manchester United rounded off a superb season with a thumping 4-1 win over Bayern Munich overnight. The result sees them fly 4 points ahead of 2nd placed Milan, who were beaten 2-1 by Manchester City, with just 1 game to go. It was a great game of football and it started with an electrifying pace. Bayern had the better start thought and managed to get a goal 11 minutes in as Mark Van Bommel was put through for the opening goal of the game. This was the wake-up call man utd needed as after 28 minutes, David Villa rounded Michael Rensing and slotted the equaliser, and it didnt take long untill Man utd had taken the lead. 6 minutes later Wayne Rooney gave the English side the lead.
Italian referee Gianluca Paparesta blew his whistle to start the 2nd half and man utd were looking sensational. It was no surprise that United extended there advantage with a slick move resulting in Star Player Cristiano Ronaldo getting amongst the goals and with 12 minutes remaining, Lucho Gonzalez finished the route with a spectacular 30 yard strike
" This was a stunning performance and I feel ive finally got the right tactics for this side, it was an experiment for the game against milan and now its gotten us 3 wins in a row which is really pleasing. The players have had a great season and u can see that by the fact we have won the league which really underlines the teams spirit at the moment. We've clearly had the best defence this season conceding only 17 goals and with Vidic continually out injured its a real compliment to the more fringer players who have stepped in and really got the job done. Now we can sit back, i think im gonna play my youth players against man city in the last game because we know we've won the league and itll be good to give the first teamers an added rest going into pre season, aswell as showcasing our amazing youth talent. It'll also be interesting, ill be keeping my eye on the Milan and Chelsea scores because both teams have to win in order to go through. Its exciting that 2nd and 3rd are really battling each other like this, and with Milan having a really tough game against Inter there gonna have to be on there game because Inter are flying right now, id say there probably the form team in the league so its going to be very intriguing."

The man utd players celebrate after learning they had won the league.

Inter Triumph And Ground is Gained

With Kaka suspended, and Gabriel Milito NMF, it was all down to Jack Rodwell and Stefan Sessegnon. Chelsea travelled to the San Siro to face Inter Milan last night, and being 5 points ahead of their rivals, the blues were looking to capitalize on their 5 point lead to secure 3rd place. Inter knew that this was a must win game if they were to stand any chance of pushing for promotion.
Referee Masoud Moradi blew the whistle and the game kicked off. Early on, Jose Bosingwa was booked for a rash challenge on Karim Benzema, who then reacted angrily, shoving Bosingwa to the floor to earn himself a Yellow. Milligan on the touchline was furious, as this means Benzema will miss the Trip to Atletico because of suspension. In a flash, the iniciative was seized. John Terry's horrific backpass was intercepted by 18 year old Mario Balotelli, who had no easier job then to slot the ball past the on-rushing Petr Cech. 1-0 Inter after 9 minutes.
The game then descended into a scrappy affair, with lots of snapshots and tight defending, the keepers were given plenty to do. However disaster struck for the Italian outfit, when Michael Essien played through Didier Drogba, who rounded Julio Cesar and superbly scored from an acute angle on the stroke of half time. 1-1. Inter manager Milligan and Chelsea manager Tailor then rounded up their troops and took them into their respective dressing rooms, to give motivational talks over a cup of tea.
Referee Moradi led the teams back out onto the field and play began in the second half. Karim Benzema was surely out to make a point, as no less than 3 minutes into the half he forced a save out of Cech with a terrific 30 yard drive. Inter were clearly on the Warpath, and with Maicon and Maxwell charging down the wings to offer support, Inter finally broke the deadlock. Sessegnon was booked for slapping Joe Cole, however Chelseas move broke down, and with the ball coming to Karim Benzema 50 yards out, he knew what he had to do. He dribbled effotrlessly round Essien and Lampard, before thumping a thunderous 20 yard drive into the bottom left hand corner of Cech's net. A goal worthy of the striker he is. 2-1 Inter Milan. Shortly after Mancini hit the crossbar from 25 yards out. Chelsea just surviving the onslaught.
Chelsea then began to fight back, and Lampards header only just reaching Julio Cesar. Ricardo Carvalho found himself in acres of space from a corner and hit hit the post, beating the floundering Cesar. Drogba then grazed the top of the bar, before Benzema almost got his second by just tapping wide. Ashley Cole will be kicking himself as he had the glorious oppertunity to equalize, however Julio Cesar was the hero, producing a spectacular point black stop from 6 yards out.
Inter knew the victory was nigh, and the celebrations began when Moradi blew the final whistle to signal an end to a fantastic match. Cech was handed MOTM, but it was a small consolation for chelsea, who have their lead over Inter cut to 2 points, with 2 games to go.

Benzema celebrating after Regaining the lead.

Julio Cesars stunning save from Cole.

    Friendly Kick's It Off!

Today a friendly was held between 2 of Europe's most fiercesome and prestigous clubs. AC milan (kylan) and Real Madrid (me) did battle in the San Siro once again. The game started of a modest affair, with lots of passing around, one touch football etc. As the game progressed, more chances began to fall. Milan were the first to squander a chance, Flamini forcing a good save from casillas. Madrid attacked but could not find that final piece. Score at Half-time, 0-0.
The second half started at a more frantic pace, both teams knowing a goal was needed. Real attacked first this time, Ruud Van Nistelrooy firing into Abbiati's hands. AC countered time and time again, Ronaldinho forcing Pepe to chow his best side with a superb turn, Pepe sliding the ball out. The game was being played too much in the centre third, so both teams decided to turn the heat up. Amazingly, the better team fell behind. Madrid played a ball out to Raul who managed to outpace Nesta, who then chipped a ball onto the head of Van Nistelrooy, who finished the move past Abbiati. 1-0. 82nd minute goal. Real then played time wasting tactics, passing the ball around the back 4, booting the ball to Abbiati. IT was then the final whistle went. Madrid had triumphed over there fierce rivals.

    RVN celebrating after his goal

    Casillas makes a save
This friendly really was a friendly. Not one single foul. No malicious tackles whatsoever.
