  1. Re: Official Liverpool Thread You are right. The most distressing point really, is not to see a Liverpool player in the list in the first place. Hopefully things will change on that front following this summer window. Off to bed.
  2. Re: Official Liverpool Thread I stumbled across this blog, and thought it really interesting. Chances created by players this season: For those interested original link: Blog link Dunno how factual it is but it caught my eye.
  3. Re: Official Liverpool Thread To all those saying/worrying Lucas may leave if we sign Henderson, - or that Liverpool are planning to let Lucas go - you're wrong. Comolli and Lucas only sat down within the last month or so and signed a new contract extension. Personally I believe the intention is to play a 4-3-3 next season which is why we are bolstering our CM to ensure plenty of depth in that position. Bare in mind Kenny has a reputation of signing slightly 'unfancied' players and turning them into stars. With his immense experience and nouse he can see potential where we perhaps don't.
  4. Re: Official Liverpool Thread (re: Henderson) Do you know' date=' I think you have a point Adam. Our CM is one of the positions I don't think requires attention, so I am led to believe that Henderson will be played on the right as a sort of 'tucked in' wide player. Personally I too am slightly underwhelmed at this transfer target. But I understand Henderson has great potential, and I've full faith that the King and Comolli have a plan/strategy in place. I wouldn't think we would match the £20M asking price though (and I hope we don't because it may send out the wrong message to other
  5. Re: Official Liverpool Thread The end of another season and I just want to lay down some of my ideas, hopes and aspirations for our beloved LFC. It was a disappointing season, finishing 6th due to a terrible start. But there is light at the end of this long tunnel now. Hicks and Gillette have crawled back under their rock and the king has ascended back to the throne. I have to say I have complete faith in our new owners. They're not over promising like the previous clowns but going about their business quietly in the background. Reasons LFC fans can feel positivity with these new ow
  6. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Blackpool (fair play award) Birmingham (league cup winner) Spurs Stoke (FA cup finalists) In Europa league? To be honest I wont miss the Europa League, lets get our heads down and make sure we get Champions League football next season. I might get slaughtered for saying this but I do not agree with Stoke being in Europa League, on strength of reaching a cup final. This is not bitterness because my personal opinion is I'd rather we weren't in it anyway. All the same good luck to Stoke, Pulis has done a tremendous job there.

  10. Re: Official Liverpool Thread Rafa is class. I am not ashamed to admit I've watched this vid more than half a dozen times since it came on the Liverpool site yesterday, and each times its brought a tear to my eye. Rafa was mistreated and I for one would welcome him back one day. Perhaps in 5 years if the king hangs up his managerial boots.
