  4. Re: OFFICIAL 'Put your money where your mouth is' thread: Rules and details here I have paid instant too as can't be bothered waiting for 7 days. It was 37p charge for £5 so not worth the hassle waiting on a free bank transfer I'll take Baniyas please
  5. Re: English Championship 10000 Discussion Thread Happy with my team at colchester Westwood 85 Bartra 85 Nosworthy 84 Rosario 83 Boerrigter 84 Romulo 84 Viniegra 83 Giacherrina 86 Canales 87 Borges 86 Willian 84 Subs: Mier 82 Ozdoev 80 Yusupov 80 Juninho 81 Andrade 83 Edson 78 Bill 80 Mainly went for risers from Russia, Brazil and Mexico hoping that these leagues will be reviewed next or in the very near future. I started with the 17th worst team ratings wise, now have the 2nd highest rating and 4th highest value and thats before expected upcoming ratings review increase. Huddersfield will win the league if their OAP's stay injury free. I think I'm on a par with Preston, shorpe and thesheffield teams but if my risers happen soon then I'm confident of increasing my average rating to 85+ and pushing for 2nd place.
  6. Re: Put your money where your mouth is ;-) I will be interested in this. I've read through the thread and I'm happy to donate to someones winnings and commit long term to this

  8. Re: English Championship 8888 Discussion Thread J Why do you say that?
  9. Re: English Championship 8888 Discussion Thread Hi, forest manager here. Firstly never came across mufc12 before, what a muppet and does not improve my pre judgements of man u fans one bit ill look out for him in future. Lol Forest have been awful this season so ripped then apart before they drop. No survivors! Reasonably happy with my best 11 AFter being outbid on my first targets 3-4-1-2 gk Sirigu 89 - disappointed he did not rise to 90, withdraw cv accepted bids for Seville keeper and vasquez to afford him. Now wishing I stuck with original as im lacking depth. Def Dede 87 - hoping for 89 in Jan/Feb n a move to europe in the future Dominguez 88 - should go to 89 Mangala 87 - 20 year old from porto Mid Guarin 89 Belhanda 88 - 21 year old. Got him day before his rise Bender 89 - hoping he goes to 90 Nolito 87 G ramirez 86 - poor team but good 20 year old Fwd Van wolfwinkel 88 - love the name n hoping he gets a move to a bigger club Di Natalie 92 - quality. Hoping he can still rise even though he is older than me! Lacking depth for now though so hoping to get play offs. I bought a load of upcoming Brazilian so hopefully should have decent back up when the Brazil review eventually comes around again but until then I think ill struggle.
  10. Re: EPL Ratings How can you have.... Torres 94-94 Rvp 93-94/93 ???? Based on form RVP is the 3rd best striker in the world right now, should be 100% to rise, I'd give him a 95 although SM won't so he will go to 94 100% So if RVP can only get a +1 to 94 then Torres should drop as he is nowhere near the level of RVP right now

    MLS

It’s a while since it has been done (january) so I have been looking for risers in the US league and there appears to be quite a few so thought I’d share them with everyone. These are from stats only, I have never seen a MLS match and I am no expert so don’t go firing questions at me about players cos I won’t know the answer! I have always done my own research but I have never made my predictions public before but here is my opinion on risers that I have noticed from the current top half of the table hlfway through this season. I have tried to be cautious as the MLS is not the best league. La Galaxy Tony Dunivent (19 starts) 82 > 84/83 Omar Gonzalez (16 starts, 1 goal) 82 > 83/84 Sean Franklin ( 17 starts, 1 sub) 82 > 83/84 Josh Saunders (7 starts) 75 > 79/80 A.J. 15. Hi I need to buy a couple of cheap centre backs 80-87 for a division 4 team. I'd like to buy ones that have decent rises in the near future. I know of Varane but he is already taken. Who else should I look at buying? Thanks
  16. Re: Help With Deal(s) Thread... Yes or No please? In GC 12, Do I swap my Mehdi Benatia (87) in a straight swap for Raul (90)? I know Benatia is going up and Raul the other way but unsure of how fast each will happen?
  17. Re: Now 3 league games per week? Fitness problem I am Wycombe in English 7704 I am Sheff wed in English 7692 I am SV Sandhausen in German 362 Gillingham in english 7691 Chesterfield in english 7682 So not just English championships. As you can see I like to go for little clubs and try to make them big. Is this just a thing in the lower divisions or is it happening in the 1st division too? (although i manage oldham in english 7401 and verona in italian 2234 and there are only the normal two games a week there so it has to be a new thing?) It's taken me a few weeks to realise why my players were all drained of fitness and regulary injured but the extra league game a week makes it obvious now. I don't understand why it has been changed without recovery times being adjusted?? SM - When and why did this happen?
  18. I have entered into some of the newer set ups recently and they are now playing 3 league games per week. Why and when was this changed from 2 to 3 league games per week? It's totally killing my fitness of my teams and I'm close to quitting these set ups to enter some of the older more sensibly structured 2 game per week ones
  19. Re: Gold Championship 12 - News, Transfers & Match Reports Woo hoo! Done it! 20. Re: Gold Championship 12 - News, Transfers & Match Reports I thought I had blown my chances of finishing in the top 4 for the 1st time with Numancia after losing 3-2 to Espanyol and dropping to 6th. Now have a tiny bit of optimism after looking at the fixtures. I have two games I should win against very poor unmanaged clubs. Real Madrid in 5th have to play Athletico who have been unstoppable this year. Espanyol and Villareal in 3rd and 4th place have to play each other last game of the season so at least one of them is Guaranteed to drop points. Still need one of them to drop points tonight though Espanyol should beat Malaga so I am hoping Villareal lose to Seville. Its a long shot but fingers crossed
  21. Re: Best Performance ever? After seeing the hat trick by the keeper earlier on the thread I thought i'd try tonight I am going to leave him set as this all season now while I am in a low division to see how many goals he gets Uploaded with ImageShack.us

  23. Re: Best Performance ever? My Nottingham Forest just won 12-0 against the mighty alloa, all my players including the 3 subs that came on all got 10's but I don't know how to put the image up on here
  24. Re: From minnow to macho ; a thread for little boys becoming big boys It is really easy to build a team in a non GC so here is my favorite 'minnow' GC team, started about 3 years ago with a 2nd division squad average around 80ish, then just built it up with scouting for risers with a stadium holding just 10k Numancia GC 12 L Victor 89 O Mellberg 90 J Rolando 90 E papa 89 N Jeda 88 P Mamaev 88 S Salihovic 89 S Duda 88 CY Park 88 Floccari 89 Bukharov 89 Can put out a full reserve team for the cups of 88+ too but this is the starting XI I normally use http://www.soccermanager.com/profile.php?action=clubdetails&cid=76019&clubid=5782699&sid=8211
  25. Re: My Real Madrid - time to move on? This is why I prefer to manage small teams, managing Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, etc can get boring but if you pick a smaller team outside the top league then it is a lot more difficult to get a dream team of players and you never get bored with them.
