  5. Re: European Championship 5000 Discussion Thread Same here - rejected them too. Love my SCHALKE side. Besides, Barca had such a good squad, how would you improve it? Would get dull very quickly
  6. Re: European Championship 5000 Discussion Thread Bit of conundrum...got BARCA on offer...thought I'd rejected them, but somehow still have them on offer....and now tempted to take them. BUT I've built a very good team at SCHALKE, with the likes of DE ROSSI, MODRIC & CAVANI, and whilst Barca have an awesome squad, what would I do with it? How could I ever improve it? It's just that I'm having awful results in this game world with SCHALKE, still stuck in the bottom division, going nowhere....what to do? Stick or twist? Also, anyone interested in BARCA, or know anyone who wants to join this game world, in case I reject?
  7. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread ALTRINCHAM FC KONDOGBIA still available for part/ex. Got some decent bids - if you're interested make a bid before the end of the day. Ta
  8. Re: WC 33333 Discussion Thread.. INTER HEADING FOR THE TRAP-DOOR? A run of poor results has seen Inter creep closer to relegation from Division 1 - as the Nerazzurri slipped deeper into trouble following a 1-1 draw against relegation rivals Arsenal. With an ageing squad and low morale, manager Dougie House is struggling to keeping the Italian giants heads above water - though he remains positive that they can escape relegation, being just one point behind Arsenal & newly managed Shakhtar, with 5 games still to go. Next up for Inter is a trip to Spain to take on Valencia...
  9. Re: Gold Championship 100 Match Reports | Transfers LEVERKUSEN SECURE RETURN Bayer Leverkusen secured promotion from the German second tier with around ten games to spare Having suffered a surprise relegation on the last day of last season, new man at the BayArena, Dougie House, promised to make up for relegation with a quick return to the Bundesliga, and Leverkusen have certainly done it in style, securing 28 wins from 33 games so far (with one game to go) and scoring a fantastic 101 goals in the process Of course the manager was quick to point out that this was no more than fans of the German giants should have expected, given the quality of the squad at his disposal and the poor quality of the other teams in the 2. Bundesliga. He also acknowleged that next season would be tougher - when his side would be up against some of the best players and managers in the world and whilst Leverkusen still have some quality players - the likes of KIESSLING, LENO, PAPADOPOULOUS & TOPRAK - the squad still needs an overhaul, relying too heavily on older players like CLAUDIO PIZARRO & SIMON ROLFES. A busy period of transfer activity awaits as Leverkusen prepare to return to Germany's top flight...
  10. Re: English Championship 106 - Discussion Thread UPDATE FROM THE U's Since taking over at Oxford we've had a great run of 11 points from 5 games (3 wins, 2 draws), helping us maintain a 5 point lead at the top of Division 4 Our attacking outlook has seen us score an amazing 16 goals in those five games We've also been looking to balance the books - shipping out some poor players from an average squad and gradually replacing them with better players, whilst keeping an eye on the wage bill and transfer budget Hoping to build a solid future at the Kassam Stadium
  11. Re: English Championship 7777 - Discussion Thread Glad to be in 7777 with Altrincham. Fairly average squad with a few decent youths - stand out being KONDOGBIA. He's available for part/ex. Looking for two for him - guys with some promise. Ta
  12. Re: Ec - 5910 Ah can't gutted I missed out on the mighty Leeds....ah well, applied for Brum instead
  13. Re: "A particular Club Wanted" Thread Hi mate I'm very interested - looking to pick up my team (LEEDS) in a new custom...that doesn't happen very often

  15. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread I actually support Leeds, so have no reason whatsoever to cheer for Man U. I just think it's interesting all of this Man U bashing...before this it was Arsenal, but then they bring in one quality player and now it's Man U getting it. Man U brought in one player last season I seem to recall (all be it a very good one!) and went on to win the league at a canter. A lack of transfer activity doesn't always mean anything - personally I question some of the buys made this window, especially by Man City (over-rated & over-priced players) and Spurs/Chelsea (too many players bought who play the same positions). Sometimes teams seem to buy players for the sake of it.... And I don't think I'm putting words in your mouth - you said the midfield of Man U was mediocre compared to Spurs. I don't buy it - you have some highly sort after players, but untested and unproven in the premier league. Man U have a midfield that have won a lot of trophies, and have added to it with Fellaini. I just don't see how you can describe them as mediocre. Perhaps they are a little workmanlike, and don't have tons of flair, but whether it's grinding out points at Stoke, defending manfully at the Bernebau, or ripping up Swansea on the counter - I'd take Man U's midfield over Spurs anyday. The flair comes in the form of Rooney, RVP, Kagawa, even Nani on form. When Spurs' midfiled have won the sort of stuff the likes of Carrick have - then we can talk...
  16. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread No doubt he was their best player - but if one player can carry a team to the league title then how come Liverpool (Suarez) or Spurs (Bale) didn't win the league? To suggest that one great player can win you the league is truly idiotic
  17. Re: Premier League Discussion Thread Love everyone on here doubting man u - they won't win the title, won't even finish top 4, average/poor team with no quality players... No doubt they should have added more in the transfer window but you guys are muppets - Man U will be top 4, no doubt, and they still have a top squad - other teams might have bought a few stars, but Man U have a team, a team that is used to playing together and used to getting results and that hasn't changed
  18. Re: The Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread Isn't this the Spurs thread? Think it's been hijacked
