  2. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! LUKAKU, DE BRUYNE, BOTH RETURN TO THE BRIDGE FOLLOWING LOAN SPELLS AWAY
  3. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! ZLOOK/KING LEO POINT 3 - reckon he means players who are at loan at INTER from external, i.e. he can't loan them in... As far as I'm aware you buy the player and can keep him as long as he is on loan with you - when his loan ends, you sell him Double check with NOWIHNO if you are unclear on any rules
  4. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! ESSIEN RETURNS TO THE BRIDGE Chelsea veteran MICHAEL ESSIEN has returned to the London club, following his loan spell at Spanish giants, Real Madrid Chelsea manager DOUGIE HOUSE expects the versatile Essien to feature strongly in next seasons campaign JUST PUT A BID IN WITH MADRID FOR HIM

  7. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! Agree with what you're saying, but wouldn't it make sense to keep the bottom 3 in div 1 sacked? As they actually get relegated? So, DIV 1 bottom 3 and DIV 2 bottom 2 (for the reasons you said re MALAGA etc...) Just, as I said, because bottom 3 in div one actually get relegated - would make sense if they were sacked....
  8. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! With the end of our season coinciding with the end of season in real life - and the opening of the transfer window - it's a great chance to look at what players might be heading to - and leaving your club. Also a great chance to fantasise about the players you wish were coming I'll kick it off with Chelsea TRANSFER NEWS COMING IN? LEVERKUSEN forward ANDRE SCHURRLE looks a step closer to joining Chelsea, with his agent claiming a deal has been agreed It has been widely felt that Chelsea have lacked a real cutting edge up front this season - though manager Dougie House fears SCHURRLE may not be the man to fill the hole and has been seen making kissy faces at EDISON CAVANI... Also linked with the club is young PORTO defender ELIAQUIM MANGALA The youngster is seen by many as the long term replacement for ageing club captain JOHN TERRY RETURNING FROM LOAN? With the struggles upfront many CHELSEA fans have bemoaned the fact that young superstar LUKAKU has been on loan at WEST BROM this season, and many would love to see the youngster come back and fight for a place in the team Former fans favourite MICHAEL ESSIEN looks likely to return from loan club REAL MADRID - and would provide welcome cover at RB and in midfield STICKING AROUND! Perhaps the greatest news for CHELSEA fans this summer is FRANK LAMPARD sigining a one year extension. The midfield veteran recently surpassed the all-time scoring record at CHELSEA and both fans and manager are glad to have his services for at least one more season

  10. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! CHELSEA-in the bottom 3 all season-have managed a last day great escape with a 2-1 win over rivals LIVERPOOL It looked most likely to be between these two and JUVE for the drop, but the CHELSEA win, coupled with a JUVE 1-0 win at ROMA and MAN UTD losing 2-1 at DORTMUND means MAN U go down on goal difference, along with LIVERPOOL and Spanish giants BARCA CHELSEA interim manager DOUGIE HOUSE has been pormised one more season by the clubs demanding owner, Roman Abramovich. With Jose Mourinho apparently poised in the wings, Dougie knows next season will have to be more than just a relegation battle House said he was looking forward to some activity in the forthcoming transfer window, with a quality striker high on his list of targets He also stated he was quite happy to see rivals LIVERPOOL and MAN UTD relegated

  13. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! Welcome in mate FOR NOWINHO Just to confirm - as it stands my Chelsea are struggling to avoid relegation to div 2. I'd love to stay on and have a crack at getting them back up - the new rule regarding automatic sacking for relegation kicks in next season? Would you consider making the "winning a cup" rule into "making a cup final"? With possibly 7 managers a season being sacked (4 in div 2!) there's gonna be a huge turn over of managers every season - and the seasons are very short... Just a suggestion
  14. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! Cool. You do realise it's gonna be a BIG turn around of managers - 7 every season...and there are only 20 in the entire game world...obviously, I'll roll with whatever rules you want to introduce, but it could be a nightmare to co-ordinate....
  15. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! I would consider it - I'm a gold manager and could get the coins, but I'm new to the game world, so maybe people would want someone who has been here longer? I really like this game world and would be prepared to put some time in. I like your idea regarding managers being sacked if the are relegated - unless they win a cup. Would probably make it "unless they reach a final". And regarding job applications, a scan at league positions/manager history etc would give you an idea of the best manager for the job, that's if there's ever two people applying for a job at once Like I say, I'm there if you need me, but I'm not exactly desperate for it - just want this GW to continue

  18. Re: The Real World.. Real Life Transfers Only.. Dont Meet Chairman Criteria = SACKED! Wow can't believe it - BARCA relegated! Still, the manager hasn't logged in for about 22 days...and it looks like CHELSEA will be joining them in Division 2. Not sure if this means automatic sacking? Or do i keep the job as I met my cup requirements (quarter final)? Would love to stay on as I'm sure Chelsea will have another spending spree in the summer - please god they buy a striker! At the moment I only have TORRES (been injured most of the season and poor in real life) BA (average) and VICTOR MOSES (say no more) who can play in that position. Seriously blame my lack of options up front for my relegation Not that it matters much if the game world doesn't have an owner to organise it all - I'm a gold manager so technically could do it, but I'm new to this game world...also, never understood the huge lists RACKY kept putting up with all the endless numbers - somehow CHELSEA were always near the top despite being 2nd bottom in the league
  19. Re: European Championship 5000 Discussion Thread Stupid match engine....
  20. Re: A Tribute to WC 10000 Ha - deal Look forward to playing you in div 2 - maybe we could develop a friendly rivalry
  21. Re: A Tribute to WC 10000 Well, in most threads I've seen people point out offers they think are bad...but what the hell can we just forget it? No worries about the language...and I promise not to "bash" you in public..it's just a game eh?
  22. Re: A Tribute to WC 10000 That's up to you, but if you read what I posted I'm not sure what i did wrong? Have you read the angry/sweary responses? I'm guessing you'll still deal with them. Jeez...I'll remember not to moan about any deals I'm offered in future and just reject. I think I was hoping that someone might come in with what I considered a fair offer...
  23. Re: A Tribute to WC 10000 In all fairness I didn't actually say yours was a terrible offer - but for a 20 year old who some people rate very highly (even if you aren't one of them) a player of same rating, but older, who isn't first choice at his club and a bit of cash in a cash rich world, isn't floating my boat. But no worries - kinda wished I'd never posted anything at all...didn't expect such an angry response from people - especially all the swearing and vitriol (not from your self but others).. ah well, I'll learn my lesson there
