  1. Re: Respuesta: Re: Diego Forlan He got it for getting more assists. It's based on that. From the BBC - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2010/8804708.stm
  2. Re: Neuer Or Lloris Lloris all day long. Much better all round keeper with much bigger potential and current ability.
  3. Re: Diego Forlan Let's be honest, he's awesome. And a beautiful football player. He completely dominates the teams that he plays for in Atletico and Uruguay. Club wise he's like Alan Shearer at Newcastle, and he would have surely been a 95/6? Forlan carries Atletico Madrid now, ever since Torres left he has. If you actually watch him in a game, he defies all the statistics. He creates chance after chance for Aguero to blaze over the bar or wide, he flings out pin point 45 yard passes to Simao for him to cross. He walks past 2/3 defenders and smashes a long range effort in, he takes a turn in direction no-one else on the pitch can see happening and creates space for himself. And he plays with passion. You could see that even in hard times at United. And you see it now. Tell me you wouldn't have an in form Diego Forlan playing for your club right now if you could.
  4. Re: should rooney be 98/97 Sorry what??? David Silva, Mata, Hernandez, Banega, Joaquin or even Albelda.... Against - Nani (who has no brain, but has just started getting one) Valencia (in his first season), Fletcher (who is a dm), Scholes (who is amazing and I would take him any day) and Carrick... Out of those two midfields I'd take Silva, Mata, Hernandez and Scholes as the best combination. So surely that puts Villa as having a lot more to work with than Rooney??
  5. Re: ADLER or NEUER I don't think he sounds like a swearword. What's wrong with us pointing out to you if what you've posted has already been done??
  6. Re: Spanish Rating Changes & Analysis (10/11) No way we can answer that for now. Remember SM have dropped his rating based on what he's played like up until th ratings, and he hasn't played again since then so how can we possibly say if he has a chance of recovering it yet?? The main issue is that he shouldn't have dropped in the first place, but now that he has SM have rated his season at a 91 level, therefore he has to improve again next time to go back.
  7. Re: La Liga - Ratings and Analysis (2010/2011) That wasn't your point though. Amazed these ratings are over.
  8. Re: Pique rating Can't believe he's got a 94. They're saying he had as good a season as Nesta? Ridiculous. He's a spoilt brat, and Alex Ferguson would never have let someone go who could go on to be one of the best CBs in the world, he's just overrated.
  9. Re: Spanish Rating Changes & Analysis (10/11) The keeper stuff is purely annoying from the point of view that you can now not get a keeper higher than 95 rating. The best keeper in the world should be at least 96. So I can see that they've said okay, let's bring Casillas and Buffon down to Cesar because they're the 3 best at the moment, but why not just bump up cesar to 96? He was key to them winning the CL and the League, and is probably the best keeper out of the three at this momeny in time. Kaka not dropping is a travesty. I thought that SM had got over their phobia of dropping big names with the amount that dropped in EPL and Serie A ratings including Gerrard and Cannavarro, and even in La Liga they dropped Henry. But Kaka has apparently played as well as Xavi since the last rating changes... Equally Ibrahimovic has been on par with Wayne Rooney and David Villa. That's ridiculous as well. Why do Madrid consistently keep their high ratings? They have seemingly always had higher ratings than the CL winners for the last few seasons, and higher than Barca who've taken the title from them. Their only shining light is Higuain, and apparently he's only had a season that is worth 1 rating more than Benzema's, and puts him on par with Sergi Aguero's season....? Pepe should have dropped as well, I say from the position of having him as a first choice CB at the moment. Ronaldo, Higuain and Sergio Ramos should be Madrid's highest rated 3 players. Marcelo couldn't rise because he's still missing out on international team. I don't think Silva is as good as Robben, and certainly hasn't had a season on par with his. So therefore a rating up for him would be unwarranted. They're not good ratings tbh. But I don't mind because they haven't affected me badly =P.
  10. Re: La Liga - Ratings and Analysis (2010/2011) Madrid ratings seem a bit harsh after winning the Uefa cup, especially when Forlan and Aguero haven't gone down... I'm not complaining though because the only atletico players I have are De Gea, Forlan and Aguero. Simao going down was always on the cards, same as senna. Raul Garcia a little bit harsh like. Guess Kameni going down was just purely Espanyol's fault!
  11. Re: Should Lucio be 95? POLL Makes no sense in relation to maicon's rise. They're in the same national team, they've been in the same team this season, and lucio has played minimally less than Maicon. Why on earth isn't the main CB for the European champions getting a rise? Probably because, like RedDevil said, he's very unreliable and quite unsafe. He's prone to being out of position, and whilst he always looks calm at the back and deals well with the high stuff, whenever someone takes him on for pace he nearly always comes off second, mainly because his awareness is shocking. But still, I was assuming he'd of gone up for his team's performance. Oh well. Pique can't be brought into this until his rating has changed.
  12. Re: Premiership Ratings By MaoaM To be fair, if SM wasn't so attackingly biased then Evra would be 95/6, because he's the best LB in the world and in general in the best in the world in a position gets a 96+. but for some reason, especially with full-backs, SM are lacking in high ones. But like above post said, Cole has been out a lot of the season and is still injured.
  13. Re: BERBATOV Go Down to 92???? I'd spoon him. If I could sit in the ground and watch him smash the ball up 50 foot in the air and control it for days on end I would. He's a beautiful footballer to watch, he's had a frustrating season and needs the summer break to just clear it out of his head. His price tag was unfair, but that's what you get when you buy off Spurs. He's the sort of player that if he has 2 good seasons now, and I mean just good, will become a United Legend. If he has an exceptional season.... well it'd be a feast for the eyes. There's no way we'll sell him, and if we do we're in serious trouble. Because there's no way on Earth the Glazers will fork out for a player with even half the class of Berbatov. So far we have an unproven Mexican coming in... I shudder to think of the future of our football club. And leave you with this.
  14. Re: La Liga - Ratings and Analysis
  15. Re: La Liga - Ratings and Analysis Diego Godin, is he ever looking like going past 90 or is is he just going to stay at that average level? Haven't seen as many Villareal games as last season but when I have he hasn't looked that special. Also, any reason other than SM's system that El Pipita can't get 95? he's been absolutely brilliant this season, and has established himself as one of the best strikers in spain (and the world). Originally he should have gone straight up from 91-93, and he's had that kind of massive development boost again so I think we should get the 95 bandwagon going . Maybe take 2 ratings off Benzema and give them to him? In fact take 6 ratings of Benzema and share them around.
  16. Re: John Terry is going to have a fun weekend... It's the best thing that's happened this year. In fact the better story is that the greedy git is whoring himself out for 10k a time to do illegal tours of the training facilities. It can't get better than this!
