After a poor start to the season which saw QPR lose to both North London giants Arsenal and Tottenham, Rangers managed their first league win today at home to Newcastle. The game was close for the full 90 minutes with QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar making some fine saves to keep his team in it. With a 3rd place finish in the league again, Modena had to face the play offs again for the chance to join the Italian top flight! Moreno scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Wesley and Korkmaz were also amongst the goalscorers.
