  1. Re: .:10000 bc:. Sorry guys, I'm going to resign from Schalke. Have got a new job since a couple of weeks and really don't have the time and the energy anymore to manage as many clubs as I currently have. Therefore, I've decided that I'm going to cut down the number of clubs that I manage and unfortunately Schalke is one of the teams I'm going to leave. Loved the game world and the interaction with the other managers and wish everyone the best of luck in the future.
  2. Re: .:10000 bc:. Manager Ralf Tillie of FC Schalke '04 wishes to congratulate Celtic on winning the league in what was a rollercoaster season until the very end. Unfortunately, Schalke couldn't realize their dream of winning the league in their first season in the top flight. Two losses in the last two matches proved fatal and saw Schalke finish '04th. In other news, Schalke are the first team to have completed their U21 deal this season. Fellow German side Bayern Munich offered striker Michy Batshuayi to the Königsblauen for a reasonable price as soon as the U21 transfer market opened and Tillie did not have to think twice about this deal. "A fantastic signing for us. Michy's move from the Belgian to the French league (Olympique Marseille) this summer should boost his rating and we're confident we'll have a fantastic centre forward in a season or two."
  3. Re: .:10000 bc:. Noooooooo
  4. Re: .:10000 bc:. Love it how 3 matches before the end of the season, 4 teams are equal on points at the top of Div.1, including newly promoted Schalke

  7. Re: -||Eredivisie Ratings II - 12/13 Winter Predictions Up! - by BRNL||- Been following him the Bundesliga. Hasn't impressed me much. Then again, being a half decent striker, he'll probably bag 20 goals in the Eredivisie next season
  8. Re: -||Eredivisie Ratings II - 12/13 Winter Predictions Up! - by BRNL||- He's nothing special mate. In his two seasons at Groningen so far, he has never even been close to being regular starter. Supposedly, he's also being followed by some Turkish teams. I think he's just looking for a move and his agent is offering him to clubs. Definitely not good enough for Premier League i.m.o.
  9. Re: .:10000 bc:. German outfit Schalke '04 beat champions Atletico Mineiro 2-0 in their division 1 debut and are proudly sitting at the top of the league after one match! Let's see if the "Königsblauen" can keep it up!
  10. Re: Stadium Attendance Thanks for your answer rbdutch. I didn't know the attendances were based on real life attendances. But why is that?
  11. I've been managing Spartak Moskva for 3.5 seasons now in a World Championship 5706. During this period, we promoted from Division 4 to Division 1 and we've won the World Champ Cup twice, the World Champ Shield once and the Charity Shield once. We're currently sitting in 4th spot in Division 1, just 2 points behind 2nd place, which I think is not bad for a newly promoted side. All good so far. Now the thing that I find remarkable, to say the least. In all of the 3.5 seasons I've been managing Spartak, the average stadium attendance in a season has never exceeded HALF of the capacity. The stadium has ~84,000 seats and the average attendance is always around the 30,000-36,000 mark. I can fully understand that the stadium is not packed when a team plays in division 4, 3, or 2 but we've been so successful in the past seasons, won so many prizes, and now doing great in division 1 too. I'm wondering what else I can do to fill the stadium and how the game engine determines the attendance for a team/match. Is there anyone who can enlighten me on these matters? P.S. the table below gives an overview of the teams currently in division 1 and their average attendances, stadium capacities and their capacity utilization percentage. Team Av. Attendance Capacity % Arsenal 60183 60362 0.997034558 Chelsea 41905 42055 0.996433242 Man utd 75861 76212 0.995394426 Everton 39957 40569 0.98491459 Dortmund 79500 81266 0.978268895 Atletico 51499 55000 0.936345455 Madrid 77094 85454 0.902169588 Werder 38817 43087 0.900898183 L'kusen 30054 33849 0.887884428 Bayern 62845 71137 0.883436187 Wolfsburg 29902 33941 0.880999381 Santos 28885 33152 0.871289817 Juve 34662 41254 0.840209434 Zenit 26071 33800 0.771331361 Monaco 25290 33885 0.746347942 Milan 60116 85700 0.701470245 Inter 52680 85700 0.61470245 Barca 59649 99787 0.597763236 Independ. 26894 52823 0.509134279 Spartak 36467 84745 0.430314473

  14. Re: .:10000 bc:. Schalke sign Mbemba from Anderlecht Division 1 newcomer Schalke '04 have managed to snatch up Congolese/Belgian defender Chanel Mbemba from RSC Anderlecht for a relatively low fee of 6m. When asked about the transfer, manager Ralf Tillie had this to say: "We managed to buy a number of U21 midfielders and attackers in the few past seasons and this time we were looking to add a young defender to the squad. Chanel has impressed our scouts and myself with his performances in Anderlecht's first team this season after being promoted from their academy last summer. He's a versatile defender who can also play on the midfield and although he's still a teenager, he has been one of the main driving forces at Anderlecht. Let's hope he can improve at Schalke and help us survive our first Division 1 season."
