    Bentley

Re: Bentley Try and push him for a couple more mill and if he accepts you've got yourself a good deal. 19 mil is a lot for Bentley , but maybe not enough temptation for me to sell. For any '90' rated player if I ever see 20 mill, I will 95% sell.
  2. Re: Should i accept A lot of people always come on here asking questions like this.. and the same answer basically applies to 90% of those questions.. If you have decent enough cover for someone like Schweinsteiger PLUS you could do with the cash, then the answer would obviously be yes. If you already have plenty of cash... think dos santos is rubbish then simply... NO. Dos Santos is a big tempter for me in your side of the deal, and if you have another decent RM or W in your side then I would personally let him go, the choice is entirely upto you. Just take into account all the different factors throughout your squad/finances.

  4. Re: The Leamington Invitational Official Thread County Keep Building After another poor start to the season - Manager Raz this week stressed his desire even further by signing 4 of the worlds young most promising starlets . Highly Regarded Russian keeper Anton SHUNIN has joined from Dinamo Moskva with Slobodan RAKJOVIC and the ever ageing Oswaldo SANCHEZ going in the opposite direction. Brazilian full back Antonio MARCELO has joined from Brazilian outfit Santos with Lucas NEILL, Gaeteno CALA and 500k going to Santos. Raz was unhappy with X CALA's progress and decided to exchange whilst the chance was there. Young Dutch playmaker Ismael AISATTI has joined from Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven for a fee of 500k, with Portugese veteran Manuel RUI COSTA and the Cameroon international GEREMI going to PSV. Last but not least... Possibly one of the biggest transfers of the season saw World class Chilean playmaker Matias FERNANDEZ join from spanish club Villarreal with a huge sum of 7.8million pounds going to Villarreal and Apostolos ANDROUTSOS and Cristian JONATHAS both joining up with the spanish sides youth ranks. ANDROUTSOS and JONATHAS are also two others who failed to live up to the hype and were shipped out before financial loss occured. This is a sounding message to all the clubs in division 1 as Raz prepares to build a squad capable of taking all majour honours next season. Raz said: " I've been pretty dissapointed with the lads considering the money we have spent on bringing them to the club. But there has been a big reaction from both board and fans after bringing these four fantastic players in. It has been the starts to our seasons that has been letting us down and we have been giving the other sides chance to pull away and create a gap that is un-catchable. But there is a lot of confidence running through the squad now and we are hoping for a sell out at the Meadow Lane on Sunday when Aldershot come - to see some of these greatly gifted individuals show some of their stuff. Trophies have been hard to come by due to some of the other fantastic clubs and managers in the league - but were confident we can finish the season on a high and push on for the league and domestic honours next season." County's squad now looks like this: SHUNIN, Anton G 21 87 £5.9M REYNOSO, Héctor CB 27 88 £5.3M DOMÍNGUEZ, Julio César CB 20 88 £6.8M THIAGO HELENO, Henrique CB 19 88 £7.0M MARCELO , Antônio CB/RB 20 87 £6.1M PIETERS, Erik CB/LB 19 85 £4.9M VILLALUZ, César RM 19 88 £7.0M NINIS, Sotiris RM/AM 17 82 £3.3M BALTANOV, Lachezar RM/W 19 76 £809k RAHIMIC, Elvir CM/DM 31 89 £4.2M AISSATI, Ismaël CM/AM 19 87 £6.3M ARAUJO, Patricio DM/CM 20 88 £6.8M FERNANDEZ, Matías AM/LM 21 89 £7.4M JORQUERA, Cristóbal AM/RM 19 80 £2.2M ETXEBERRIA, Joseba W/F 30 88 £4.2M GYGAX, Daniel W/F 26 86 £4.5M SANCHEZ, Alexis F/AM 19 87 £6.3M PINEDA, Jean F 19 84 £4.3M DENTINHO, Bruno Bonfim F 19 83 £3.7M FARKAS, Balász F 19 75 £563k GALVAN, Martín F 15 71 £25k VIDUKA, Mark CF 32 89 £3.8M Not only has manager Raz built a squad capable of winning all major honours next season - but the financial future at Nottingham looks good with several players capable of providing big financial boosts either by sale or shirt revenue - the future is bright.
  5. Re: 3-4-1-2 question Hi Gtothe. I'd personally play Medina behind Blanco and Omar Bravo. I've had a lot of success out of the 3-4-1-2 by playing a Forward with a Centre Forward and either an AM/CM, AM/F, F/AM or even just a F behind the front 2. If possible, get a DM and a CM/AM combination in the middle of the park at numbers 5 and 6 for a more effective midfield on both the counter attack and the defensive side of your sides tactics.
  6. Re: More than just 3 players loaning? Thanks for that Wat. At least someone isnt full of useless information such as myself lol.
  7. Re: English Championship 1 De Rossi is for sale from my beloved Leicester City if anyone is interested? I need to increase my squad depth and would be looking for a 92+ defender and GK in replacement? Will listen to any other 'acceptable' player and cash offers.
  8. Re: More than just 3 players loaning? Teb has hit the nail on the head really. I've always thought to myself (to be honest) that 3 subs is still a fall short if you like and I reckon that they should make it say 5 for example. It would be nice if someone was to point out what the maximum number was in real life if anyone knows? I thought it was unlimited? Look at sides like United who loan out to feeder clubs in Europe etc aswell as loads to football league clubs? Overall I would like to see an increase of some sort, mainly for the benefit of lower league managers? But maybe to add some sort of AI whereby if it goes over a 'loan budget' (which would be shown in the clubs finances from the start of the season and alters accordingly) the chairman will intervene and prevent anymore loan signings until you've loaned out or sold to increase your budget? Just an further idea on this that could help get it implemented. Not sure how hard this would be though?
  9. Re: Maybe Add Another Tab To Best Manager the manager points awarded system is pretty shabby IMO anyway. like you rightly say Havoc, managin a side in GC is obviously a lot harder, more time consuming. I cant see any harm in adding the extra tab for gold championship manager points etc, as like you rightly say - these managers (the best) of all setups aren't getting the recognition they deserve compared to someone managing Darlington in Ec85 for example. You only want it on cuz you only manage in GC's thoughh and you know with all your top teams you have your going to be 'up there' so to speak so you can gloat Seems a good needed addition though.
  10. Re: Just Been In An Earthquake!!! I would of slept all the way through it if my lamp hadnt hit me on my head from the bedside table Then of course the missus got up, and she got up jumping around shouting and all sorts the silly woman - I said calm down dear its only poltergeists and it made her even worse! now she thinks weve got ghosts in the house haha.... gold old women.
  11. Re: Juve Fab 5 ratings.. SHAME on you SM You are right Keith to a degree.. But these players, Trez etc are players that are now on the decrease as they earnt such a reputation and along with this came a fantastic rating and they are now on the downwards spiral due to new talent such as rakitic, benzema, nasri etc etc coming through and thus limiting older players to few international appearences .
  12. Re: Juve Fab 5 ratings.. SHAME on you SM Buffon isn't better than Cech or Casillas IMO? What makes you think that Buffon is better than the previous two I mentioned? This is quite clearly a post from a very biast Juventus fan.. Nedved, Del Piero, Trez and even Buffon are all getting on now and are not having the impact that most are having on international duties, not just that - Juventus arent competing in either UEFA Champions league or the UEFA Cup for that matter, and are playing considerable amounts of games less than other players in the top sides in SERIE A. I really dont see why they should get increases? Buffon, Trezeguet, Del Piero and Nedved especially..

Re: Rate My Team Thread This team I'm going to put now is my Chelsea in WC354. Probably one of my favourite teams, due toall the sacrifices ive madeto bring in a massive squad of young 'high potential' players. As you can tell this meant sacrificing players like Frank, Drogba, Terry, Cech etc. But I think in a few seasons to come - this team will be huge filled with high rated talent. Ive had a few increases today because of the Spanish ratings as you will see. Forum Statistics

Re: Forum Statistics This thread is exactly why when I was mod, the post counts were removed from showing on every post and was replaced with the post rep. Both get abused to some degree and you can't win with everyone. Sure anyone can get a high post count and a good rep, but even then rep gets bumped by circles of so called 'rep boosters' as people could do with posts - by constantly posting 8 word posts everytime they post. Rep is obviously the better option hence it being added as you can at least actually see where people have agreed and acknowledged your good, or in turn, disagreed with your posts - and not just have a big juicy number by your name for people to judge your "forum qualities" on. I was always in favour (in a minority may I add) that both Post counts AND rep be banished, but it seems most of the forum need some sort of statistic next to their name for people to class them as part of the forum 'clique' so to speak. Thats my opinion anyway - not like anyone cares :/
  16. Re: New England Away Kit 2008-2010 Just another money making scheme from our Fair and Beloved FA. As much as I hate how much they keep releasing shirts - I just keep going and buying the new ones everytime they come out - i guess I'm just too patriotic for my own good - I keep giving my money to those that don't need it - that's the only down side. lol. Not a bad kit though.

  18. Re: Raz's Forum CHAMPIONS! Reports/Transfers Argentine star Carlos Tevez has been made available for transfer by Milan manager Raz. Raz will be looking for a 2 player part exchange deal of some sort - possibly containing another forward and possibly a midfielder. It is rumoured Tevez and Raz have had a bust up on the training park with Tevez supposedly critisising the manager for his choice of training routine. and not only that - he was spotted wearing a manchester united shirt whilst leaving the ground! Below is a picture of Tevez with his dummy in his mouth before he spat it out at manager Raz in the changing rooms. (Tevez pictured with dummy.)

Re: The One Any response from Mr Dave Leigh as of yet?
  20. Re: English Championship 1 Foxes Hunted Down Raz's Leicester City travelled north to Merseyside to take on Dave Stephenson's Liverpool at Anfield. Raz named a side with 7 changes to the side that won 3-0 against Blackpool and 3-2 against Teb's Fulham last week. A very weakened Leicester side ended up coming out on the receiving end of a good hammering - losing 6-1. The game was very evenly matched and the scoreline was an extremely poor reflection on Leiecester City's performance. Leicester took the lead through Swiss hitman Alexander FREI on only the 3rd minute only for Liverpool to go into the break 2-1 to the good. After the break Liverpool came out scoring four goals in 25minutes to finish off any hope of Leicester progressing. The midlands side managed 19 shots on goal to Liverpools 18, with 11 testing the goalkeeper to Liverpools 9 and Raz was furious with his sides inability to take their chances in the final third. Leicester face a tough schedule in the coming couple of weeks visiting Anfield again tomorrow night for the league tie between the two clubs where Raz will be fielding a fully fit starting 11 to try and get Leicesters poor start to the domestic season back on track and claim a 3rd consecutive victory and get revenge on Dave's Liverpool for the humiliating cup defeat. The week after Middlesborough are entertained at the Walkers stadium and then Dave Stephenson's Liverpool will travel to the Walkers stadium to face Leicester AGAIN in the Shield. Meanwhile in the market, Raz is trying to clinch a deal with Hull City manager for former Leicester star Ricardo KAKA in a bid to bolster his already impressive strikeforce boasting Ronaldinho, Totti, Pablo Aimar, Alexander Frei and Argentine Diego Milito.

  22. Re: TomOwen's Turkish Rating Changes Predictions Sorry about that Tom - must of missed it. Wikipedia must be a bit out of date then as far as appearances and goals are concerned. Im sure your right good to see he has a goal to his name aswell.
  23. Re: TomOwen's Turkish Rating Changes Predictions I've got one aswell for you. Might not be a huge increase this time round - but will certainly go up a point or two? Will be a massive player in years to come and there has already been europes top clubs knocking at the door trying to pen future deals for him. barış özbek plays for Galatasaray i do believe. only 21 years old central midfielder - likened very much to Fabregas. Started around 6/7 games for this this season - has no goals to his name but he hit the crossbar with a free kick from 40 yards out the other week against Besiktas - their keeper even applauded him after it came back off the bar. hes an excellent talent and has been touted to get into the german national frame very soon. hes currently only 83 on the database and i think an increase to 85 this time at a push would be sufficient - but will be a first team regular come the end of the season and it wouldnt suprise me if he has an international cap or two for germany on that basis aswell.
