  4. Huddersfield Town So after 283 games in charge of Bury which saw me pick up a Division 2 title along with the prestigious Manager of the Season award we finally decided it was time to test ourselves at a bigger club. Bury had been running on a shoestring budget since I took them over and were consistently having to sell there better players to keep the club afloat and balancing the books for the tax man. So here we are... Huddersfield Town. Immediately we were inundated with offers for the star players of the club, the previous manager Michael had done a tremendous scouting job in Italy picking up a lot of talent for peanuts and patiently waiting for them to develop. Daniele Rugani was the first to depart the club when Chelsea come in with a bid of Phillipe Lahm we decided to sleep on the offer and decided what was best for the club, We decided that Lahm being a 94 would be a tremendous use in the battle to get to Division 1 so we took the offer. Lahm has publicly stated he will retire in 2018 so plenty of life in the old dog yet. Then came the Raz saga.... He wanted Dybala and I wasn't keen to sell seeing as he has the talent to go to the very top. We stood firm on the first few bids coming in for him but then Raz buckled and offered Shkrodan Mustafi and Kevin De Bruyne, This was impossible to turn down as it improved our defence and midfield with both being first choice in that position for the club. We have put our faith in Olivier Giroud leading the line this season and he will be assisted by Marco Gabbiadini and Domenco Berardi. We hope to give Gabbiadini more minutes to decrease his current level 3 concerns for not playing much in the past few seasons. We will strive to help lower league clubs with loans where we can and when our stubborn chairman allows... Cataldi has already joined Crystal Palace on a seasons long loan. We may listen to offers for South Korean international Son but we must stress that we would want Part Exchange offers.

  7. EVERY WEEK WE WILL POST ALL PREDICTIONS IN HERE. PREDICTIONS NEED TO BE IN BY THE FIRST GAME EVERY WEEK. (ESB) = Exact Score Bonus (FGS) = First Goalscorer Any chat regarding predictions please post in http://forum.soccerm...-new-pl-season/ Keeping this thread Predictions only please Winning scorer of each week will pick the ESB and FGS games the following week. ESB and FGS will be up after Chelsea v West Ham for GW2 look out for them. Point scoring. For correctly predicting a score = 3 points (e.g. Chelsea 0 v 0 Man utd) if you had that scoreline you would receive 3 points. For correctly predicting an outcome = 1 point (e.g. Chelsea 0 v 0 Man utd) and you say 1-1 then you get 1 point for predicting a draw. For correctly predicting the ESB you need to get the scoreline correct for the game selected as the ESB. 5 points will be awarded for correctly predicting this. (e.g. Actual Result - TeamA 2 - 0 TeamB -Prediction - TeamA 2 - 0 TeamB = 5 points [3 for exact plus 2 for ESB] -Prediction - TeamA 2 - 1 TeamB = 1 point [ 1 for correct outcome]) For correctly predicting the FGS you need to name the player that will score the first goal in the game that in selected as the FGS. 2 points will be awarded for correctly predicting this.

  16. After a slow start at AS Roma Head Coach Noisy has finally sprung into action in the transfer market in the last 24 hours. First of all a new Goalkeeper was required as Szczesny is only on a season long loan from Arsenal and we made it our priority to not be caught short in that department. #WelcomeRui Rui Patricio the Euro 2016 winning Goalkeeper has agreed to join from Sporting Lisbon we paid a hefty price in Brazilian GK Allison and Winger Iturbe but it will help the club immediately. Late last night the news broke we had triggered Brahimi's release clause at Porto and the exciting Algerian winger will be joining up with the Rome giants. Another hefty price paid though which included the talented Stephan El Shaarawy. #WelcomeBrahimi Finally our last signing of the window so far sees talented youngster Riechedly Bazoer join from Ajax, We agreed to pay Paredes and cash on top. The talented dutchman has already featured for his country and become a regular in Ajaxs Midfield. #WelcomeBazoer We have one more deal potentially in the pipeline currently but we are happy with the current crop of players at Roma and our next task will be tying down new contracts. We don't have the funds or the players to match the powerhouses but we will try our best to challenge.
