  1. Re: shakhtar donetsk ratings after wining UEFA CUP I think as long as the team who won it weren't English the winner was guarenteed some 'bonus' points. I'm surprised SM haven't yet found a reason to not have to rate Barcelona until after the CL final just incase they win
  2. Re: Spanish Ratings Am i right in thinking Villarreal are done. If so i have truly lost my belief in the 'researchers' who do these ratings...
  3. Re: Ronaldo (the 1 who likes ladyboys) to rise??? Some people read too much into the stats on this site. Hell Kalou is better than teves if you think stats reveal the whole picture...

Dani Alves arrives at Old Trafford as the new RB manager Dan Walmsley has been working hard to acquire. The deal saw Castro and C. Adriano join Spainish giants Barcelona along with nearly £5 million. Dan Walmsley admitted that Dani Alves would be his final defensive signing as his defence is complete for a good few seasons to come: 'I'm extremley happy to say my defence is complete, we are quite easily the strongest defensivley in the world and when you add to that fact we have the best goalkeeper in the world also, other teams attackers must dread facing us from now.' United Defence GK - Iker Casillas RB - Dani Alves RB - Bakary Sagna CB - Nemandje Vidic CB - Rio Ferdinand CB - Serdar Tasci CB - Gerard Pique LB - Patrice Evra LB - Gael Clichy Dan Walmsley admitted with his defence and goalkeeper area now complete for the long-term future he had already moved onto finishing work on his Forwards: 'The aim is to have 4 main strikers, currently our big 2 are Messi and Van Persie with the back up 3 being Higuain, Bojan and Hulk. Over the coming weeks i will be looking into bring a striker in with massive calibre like Torres, Villa or Rooney. I'm hoping one of those will parter Messi as the big 2 and then we will keep Bojan and higuain for long-term development and back ups, using hulk later on to finalise work on the MF before the squad is complete.' David Villa - Rejoining United?

  7. Re: CalcioItalia's Italian Ratings I genuinely believe that SM is going to do a few me Serie A ratings before moving back onto Spain with the likes of Kuzman etc getting changed
  8. Re: Italian Ratings! I'd imagine they are wating for CL final so they can knock all of Barca's team up +3 (messi will be 101 ). It's obvious SM already has a Spainish fetish and another excuse to overrate certain players... If they do wait for the CL final then they should re-review united and bump them up but it doesn't work that way in SM...
  9. Re: Gold Championship 19 Match Report and Transfer News 2 More Wins But Big Games Approach... 4 - 1 United saw off City with relative ease in the Manchester derby following a 4-1 victory. Higuain, Vucinic, Inler and Castro scored the goals to keep up United's 100% start. 4 - 1 United rested every key player for this match in a bid to keep stars such as Messi, Ronaldo, Vidic, Rio and Evra fit for the clashes with Chelsea and Bayern Munich... The second team delivered the result to progress the club into the Third Round of the English Shield. Pique got a straight red on the 11th minute but it didn't stop United's dominace with goals from Ederson (2), Vucinic and Gibson. It's a shame to lose Michel but with Mata, Valencia and Guitterez already on the flanks i felt it was a but pointless having 4 top wingers and no good Cm's, plus we had already lined up a capable youngster to replace Michel Bastos...' Damian Escudero joins in a £9 million deal from an unmanaged side, the talented 22 year old is the ideal man to fill the void left by bastos.

  15. Re: Italian rating predictions I think sometimes SM comes on here too much and gets caught up in the over-hype and even signs up for a years membership on the forums very own bandwagon group who just agree with someone who says they've 'seen the player play once and he was good.' +2 was a joke, they should take +1 off him and give it to another players like Kuzmanovich for example...

  19. Re: Gold Championship 19 Match Report and Transfer News Manchester United opened the new season with an away trip to Norwich City. This season Dan Walmsley has admitted he expects a three horse race for the title rather than the two horse race he has endured in his 2 seasons with the club: 'This season you can expect Chelsea to keep up their heroics of last year while Liverpool have acquired a top quality manager in The Treble 1999 who did a magnificant job with Villa. It will be a close title fight between United, Chelsea and Liverpool. This season i will be mixing things up a little more regarding tactics and team selections to try and pick up some silverware after a dissappointing campaign last term. Tonights match will show that...' Premier League Kick-Off 0 - 2 Gael Clichy was the unlikely hero for United as he opened the scoring on the 20th minute. United looked alot more defensive away from home compared to the attacking style of last season which restricted Norwich to just one shot on target all game. Higuain finished off the game in the 85th minute with a fine finish. Several key name players such as Messi, Ferdinand and Evra sat out which is supposedly as rest for the upcoming SMFA Cup game opener against Espanyol... 21. Re: Gold Championship 58 Atletico Lay Down Foundations... During a pre-season media conference Dan Walmsley outlined his transfer policy as several new faces were unveiled to the fans: 'I'm looking to lay down the foundations to a great successful era under my guidance at the club by investing heavily in young talent - preferably Spainish. Some of the signings we've bought in reflect this as we slowly build from the back to the front, we've completed our GK department with two players with massive potential joining the club.' Mandanda finally a Madrid player... Steve Mandanda's transfer saga finally drew to an end today after he was unveiled as the new Atletico No.1. The France national keeper arrives from Marseille with a big reputation in the football world. Rui Patricio will be understudy to Mandanda in Spain. In another big deal, rising star keeper Rui Patricio joined Atletico to complete the Gk area of the squad. Dan Walmsley admitted that many people will question the need for two top class goalkeepers but it is part of the long-term plan to have two top young players in every position. With the No.1 jersey well covered Dan moved into strengthining his defence and the arrivals of Jose Angel and Robert Canella signalled his intent to see out the new transfer policy. Canella will be second choice LB this season behind Lopez but has massive future at the club. Jose Angel will take a little longer to break into the first team but it's hoped he and Canella will be fighting it out for the No.3 shirt in the coming seasons in both Madrid and for the Spainish team...
