  1. Applied for Ferencvarosi, love the idea of this even though I'm sure I'll be one of the first to go down to 73
  2. So since the second half of this USOC game against Cincinnati just started and I'm in line buying food....first off what a difference this Fire organization has made especially since MLS is trying to force a sale of the team(thank god) also FC Cincinnati needs to become one of the expansion sides for MLS, there's 30,000+ here on a Wednesday night for a Cup match where other games realistically average at most 10,000. Sure it's not a big media market but these fans are very dedicated. Alright 2 people in front of me til I get food and I don't wanna miss the Fire score a goal so that's all I have to say.
  3. $27 for 12 months? could of sworn that's what i paid for 24 months a few years back....yep definitely won't be getting gold anytime soon again.
  4. That depends if they even add him back...cause from what i'm getting out of this is he's not playing next season and just doing this to fill a hole
  5. In what has been a crazy past few weeks for the LA Galaxy with the departure of Nigel De Jong and the multiple injuries that have struck the Galaxy it was announced that Landon Donovan will come out of retirement to play the remainder of the 2016 MLS season. Donovan had this to say in a Facebook post about his return:
  6. If Dempsey doesn't work out he could always sign Landon Donovan once he gets added back to the database
  7. Cardiff City 3-2 Charlton Athletic Can't really say much positive about this match, plenty of missed oppurtunities for us to put it in the back of the net but instead we let Cardiff keep ahead and score down a man for the last 50+ minutes. Still early in the season but to just disappointing to not convert, Pato gets a brace but just no effort from the rest of the side.
  8. FC Red Bull Salzburg is pleased with the signings to complete the team and have already announced their preliminary starting XI Leno Can---Bender---Howedes---Fuchs Baumgartlinger--Alaba Draxler---Arnautovic---Schurrle---Herrmann Substitutes: Florian Klein Aleksandar Dragovic Kevin Wimmer Sebastian Prodl Zlatko Junuzovic Marc Janko Martin Harnik We take on one of our group counterparts on Match Day 1 as we take on Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park
  9. Charlton topple Brighton In his managerial debut for Charlton Athletic, Jeremy Madrigal showed that this team is a complete 360 from what they were earlier this season. It didn't take long for the goal scoring to begin as Mathieu Valbuena netted a stunner in the 4th minute for the Addicks. What ensued was a goal scoring frenzy no one was expecting out of this squad as they'd go on to net 4 more before conceding a late goal to give the Addicks a 5-1 victory. Up next for Charlton is a trip to Cardiff where they'll look to get themselves out of the relegation zone.
  10. Madrigal returns to England After a one year absence from the English football scene, the American Jeremy Madrigal has returned overseas to take over Charlton Athletic. After his stint last summer at Barnsley was a failed attempt to strengthen the weakened side he has accepted an offer that will bring him to The Valley. It is believed that the deal is for 2 seasons with a club option on a 3rd season. Madrigal says don't get too comfortable with the current squad as he plans to bring in several experienced veterans to help the club make strides toward Division 1.
  11. JMagic making moves at Halifax Town After cutting some players from the team upon his arrival, it was announced that pending a physical Huanglong will join the English side for a fee of 280k from Tianjin Songjiang from the Chinese Division 1.
  12. Match Day 29: FC Copenhagen vs Steaua Bucuresti FC Copenhagen welcome Steaua Bucuresti to Parken today as we enter the last 10 matches of the season. In his first season managing a Stoop Premier League side Madrigal has yet to suffer a defeat in league play. Currently the club is on a 10 game unbeaten streak and looking to tie the club record which currently stands at 11 games. In their last meeting it was a whole different lineup for Copenhagen who brought home 3 points winning 4-3 back in August. With a strengthened XI and a playoff spot within reach we show you the side that Madrigal will be running with today. The club is using the 4-4-2 which they used to defeat Blackburn 2-0 on Thursday night. Perin Nagatomo-Dede-Chedjou-Agger Blaszczykowski-Fernandez-Bradley-Balenziaga Dempsey-Giovinco Today's key to watch in this game has to be Sebastian Giovinco the former Toronto FC striker. In his 5 appearances since joining FC Copenhagen, Giovinco has 3 goals and 4 assists. Last but not least the prediction for today's match, I believe we'll see another high scoring affair between these two with Copenhagen coming out on top 4-2
  13. Plenty of transfers here at FC Copenhagen but management believes this will be our only hope of being promoted this season. Transfers In: Mattia Perin(Genoa CFC) 7.5 + Stephan Andersen Yuto Nagatomo(Sampdoria) 8.3 Dede(Cruzeiro) 12.8 Aurelian Chedjou(Galatasaray SK) 5.2 + Mikael Antonsson Daniel Agger(Brondby IF) 5.1 + Tom Hogli Jakub Blaszczykowski(SC Freiburg) 4.1 + Christoffer Remmer Augusto Fernandez(Celta Vigo) 6.5 + Brandur Olsen Mikel Balenziaga(Athletic Club) 2.2 + Bashkim Kadrii Sebastian Giovinco(Toronto FC) 6.2 + Federico Santander Clint Dempsey 4.8(Seattle Sounders) + Youssef Toutouh Also added 11 U21 players
  14. We won on Saturday 2-0 over Swindon Town all but guaranteeing we will remain in division 1 for at least another season. The goal for next season will be to qualify for a SMFA competition.
  15. West Brom drops into the relegation zone after a 2-0 loss to Sunderland and news after the match didn't make anything better for us as we lose Lescott for the match at Villa with a bruised foot and James McClean for 3 weeks with a strained hamstring.
  16. It's the start of something new here at Barnsley, hoping to bring some decent talent into the club during the offseason and bring the club back to the Championship. If anyone has players that are available for loan next season(preferably over 80 ovr) please feel free to let me know.
  17. McClean Saves Day for West Brom It was a great day for newly hired manager Jeremy Madrigal as his West Brom side did the near impossible and came away with a point at Old Trafford. With Saturday night's result the club now has gone unbeaten in their last 4 league fixtures and 3 straight draws. "Tonight was a tale of two halves" a relieved Madrigal said after stepping off the pitch, "This team deserves to be mid table and I'm gonna make sure that happens over the next few seasons" Edinson Cavani opened up the scoring for United in the 19th minute to make it 1-0, 13 minutes later Rodrigo hit a ball just over the fingertips of Ben Foster making it a 2-0 lead at Half Time. However in the 2nd half it was clear that West Brom was a different team finally getting to know the style of play Madrigal was trying to get into his players heads. A 1-2 punch between Rondon and Rickie Lambert made it a 2-1 game in the 51st minute and it seemed that West Brom would walk away with their heads down. However Rondon would once again start something up as he sent a pass to a open James McClean who sent the ball past a flat footed Victor Valdes to seal a point for West Brom as they fight to avoid relegation.
  18. Re: The MLS (Reality Based Gameworld) - Official Thread Well the good news after last night is we won't have the 1st pick in the SuperDraft as of now. The bad news, our chairman is a cheap man.
  19. Re: -=:English Championship 29673:=- Draws on Draws After starting the season Sunday with a 0-0 draw against Wigan and a win Leicester City, Thursday's goalless draw was something Madrigal was not expecting. "Tonight we dominated in terms of possession and shots and I still believe Sordell was onside." said Madrigal during his post game press conference. With tonight's point the Addicks drop to 6th in Division 2 and with a trip to Blackburn coming up another draw might not be out of question.
  20. Re: GC 400: official forum thread As much as I'd love to have gone to an English club.....I decided to take over Panathinaikos.
  21. Re: -=:English Championship 29673:=- Madrigal prepared for trips to Leeds and Latvia Despite a congested schedule Madrigal is ready to take on the challenge of managing World Cup darkhorses Uruguay as they begin the Qualification stages of the tournament. Madrigal says he expects to roll through the group which includes Latvia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Northern Ireland, and Slovenia. Notable call-ups for the team include Newcastle's Diego Godin, Liverpool's Luis Suarez, Villa's Edinson Cavani, and Blackburn's Diego Forlan. On the other side of things for Madrigal with Maicon out, it is being rumored Gabriele Perico will be the man to take his place on the road trip. Madrigal also stated that recent signing Jack Jewsbury from the MLS' Portland Timbers will make his debut tonight also. Many question the decision to bench Peluso, but Madrigal feels Jewsbury will be able to stop the Leeds attack.
  22. Re: -=:English Championship 29673:=- Addicks take hard fought 3 points over Foxes It wasn't easy for Charlton but with the support at The Valley taking 3 points in Tuesday night's fixture would be all that'd be accepted. However in the 2nd minute it appeared that Charlton, down to 10 men thanks to a straight red for Maicon, would be holding on for just 1 point. However just 2 minutes later things changed as Stewart headed Rolfes free kick into the back of the net. However for the Foxes it wasn't sadness for long as they did manage to equalise through Riviere. Stewart would later go on to add another goal in the 33rd minute which was preceeded by a goal from the legendary Ukrainian Tymoschuk 9 minutes earlier. Despite a goal filled 1st half, the 2nd half brought no goals and was very similar to Sunday's goalless draw. As expected after tonight's match it was announced that Maicon would receive a 3 game suspension which will see him stay in London for the club's 3 game road trip with games at Leeds, Blackburn, and Bournemouth.
  23. Re: -=:English Championship 29673:=- Like most of Division 2 it was no different for the Addicks as they were unable to find the back of the net. Madrigal was relieved to walk off with pitch with a point after Wigan dominated each statistical category, but praised Guaita for his spectacular night in net for the club. With a midweek fixture against Hazr's Leicester City, a goal or two could possibly be a challenge.
