  1. Re: El Capitán - Match Reports, Discussions etc... Swansea got off to a superb start to their season with a 5-0 win over Chennaiyin. The match itself was even enough but Locadia, Boakye and Sabitzer were clinical with all 5 goals and 4 of the assists coming from the trio. This is unexpected considering our performance in the transfer bidding so delighted to get off to such a good start with so much cash left over to eventually improve.
  2. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows Kidderminster lost to Altrincham 2-1 in a pretty close encounter at the Aggborough. That's back to back losses for us now but we're happy enough with the squad and are confident we can make some major improvements when the transfer bans are up.
  3. Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. Genoa continue their horror run of form which sees them at the bottom of the table following a 2-0 loss to Lille. Big moves will need to be made in the transfer market especially in defense!
  4. Re: The Defence Versus Attack League - Match Reports, Transfers And All Round Banter. Tigres beat Boca 2-0 to continue their good run of form. Insigne has been a revelation this season and continued to impress with another man of the match performance. The win moves us up to 8th and fans are lamenting the poor start to the season which has cost them a place in a very competitive promotions race. Tigres will still however have a huge say in the promotion race with matches against PSG and Sunderland to come. All in all it could be worse for Tigres in season 1. They could have been managed by Biblis.
  5. Re: El Capitán - Match Reports, Discussions etc... Swansea have completed their squad for the coming season. The transfer flurry was incredible and I took the approach of trying to offer what I thought were fair valuations for players. As a result I lost almost every single contested transfer and in some cases my offers were embarrassing compared to other bids. Nonetheless I'm very happy with the squad and think we will be very solid in the coming season. We also have approx 35m leftover to improve if the right players become available. Captain: Javier Mascherano Vice-Captain: Joe Hart Joe Hart Dioudis Sokratis Javier Mascherano Jamaal Lascelles Filip Helander Ben Gibson Joshua Brenet Jordan Obita Benetti Ramiro Josip Radosevic Salih Ucan Sergi Darder Sean Murray Dele Alli Teddy Bishop Jake Hesketh Salim Khelifi Danny DaSilva Bozhidar Kraev Marcel Sabitzer Jurgen Locadia Richmond Boayke Yaya Sanogo Maxwel Cornet Anor Juanpi

  7. Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. A defeat for Genoa going down 1-0 to Feyenoord in our latest game. I'm really regretting not making a third signing in the transfer window now especially with all the cash reserves I have. Happily Perez had a favorable position change for my squad balance and a ratings boost. He will now be a big part of the squad.
  8. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows A good home performance saw Kidderminster beat Farsley 3-1. The new signings settled well in their new surroundings. Hesketh was cultured in the middle while Oteo looked full of promise up top. Stand out performer however was Grealish who capped his performance with two excellent goals from direct free kicks. James Wilson coming back from suspension is a big bonus for the next game.
  9. Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. Genoa find themselves close to the foot of the league after losing 2-0 at home to Olympiacos. The visitors got tactics spot on and Genoa never looked like competing. Only signing two players in the transfer window is perhaps coming back to bite Genoa as they needed to shore up defense. On a positive note a rise for Andre Wisdom today means at least we have more valid options in that position.
  10. Re: The Defence Versus Attack League - Match Reports, Transfers And All Round Banter. A 2-2 draw for Tigres at home to a very good Rosario side continues our upsurge in form. We are now 6 games unbeaten and the loss of Xavi does not appear to have effected the side much with McCarthy stepping into the fray seamlessly. Dani Parejo however has been acquired to add to the middle area while Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro comes to Tigre to add some depth to the defense.

  12. Re: The Defence Versus Attack League - Match Reports, Transfers And All Round Banter. 5 wins on the bounce now for Tigres with a 2-1 win over Lille. Really delighted with this turnaround as at one point in the season it looked like we would be cut adrift at the bottom of the table. Looking to freshen up the squad in the coming days now we have the funds and nationality space to do so. Hoping to now push on for a top 6 finish.
  13. Re: The Defence Versus Attack League - Match Reports, Transfers And All Round Banter. Tigres UANL beat Newell’s Old Boys 2 - 1 in their Division 2 fixture. Van Persie scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Insigne was also on the scoresheet for his side. 4 wins on the bounce now for us. Delighted with the change in fortunes and the tweaks are paying off. Onwards and upwards for Tigres!
  14. Re: The Basement Version II - The Returning. Genoa got off to a great start in their division 3 campaign with a 2-0 win over Sao Paulo. Sao Paulo probably had the better of the game creating a substantial amount of chances but Perin was his usual outstanding self in goal and Matri clinical and they proved the difference. Genoa expect to strengthen in this transfer window and have identified their main targets.
  15. Re: The Defence Versus Attack League - Match Reports, Transfers And All Round Banter. A great away performance for Tigres giving us a hard fought 1-0 win. James McCarthy grabbing the goal as his upturn in form continues. Three wins on the bounce now sees us slowly climbing the table after an awful start. I expect with the removal of transfer bans there will be a few changes to beef up the side.
  16. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows Myself and JonnyRed are too busy trying to turn our bog into a pitch in time for GW lift off to show our enthusiasm
  17. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows The pitch looks just about ready for my agricultural tactics
  18. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows We'll have the Aggborough rocking in no time then The pitch is perfect for my agricultural tactics ha ha! Looking forward to the local derbies against Worcester.

  20. Re: The Defence Versus Attack League - Match Reports, Transfers And All Round Banter. A rare win for Tigre beating Beijing 3-2. Had to rely on two centre backs getting on the scoresheet for the win though. Off the bottom on goal difference now and really need to string a run of results together.
  21. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows Delighted to have Kidderminster! Always had a soft spot for them since their FA Cup run in the mid 90's. I'll have the Aggborough rocking in no time!
  22. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows Agree here. I'd want a number of clubs promoting so rivalries can develop and continue. Nice to have a few games against other players for the promoted ones in the second season.
  23. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows Would make a hell of a prize for winning the game world!!!
  24. Re: Rags To Riches III - Re-emergence of the minnows Stick me down on the interested list for the legendary Kidderminster Harriers.
