It’s famous for spawning talents such as Jean-Paul Boetius, Jordy Clasie, Bruno Martins Indi or Stefan de Vrij – all players wanted by big clubs in Europe. Jari has done very well in the youth teams and due to that coach Maarten Stekelenburg took him to the UEFA U-17 Championship 2014 in Malta. He scored a hattrick in his second game at the tournament and was a key player in the “Jong Orange” second line. Unfortunately, his team fell to England in the final, but Jari was given the “Golden Boot” with 4 goals, which is a great achievement for a midfielder.
