  1. Plymouth Argyle midfielder Dan Gosling has finally signed for Premier League club Everton. The move has been reported on for the last few days but now Gosling has finally put pen to paper on deal thought to be worth £1.5 million to Argyle. Everton manager David Moyes was delighted to capture the young Pilgrim, he said: 'He is one for the future.' The highly-rated England youth player only signed his first professional contract in February 2007 after reaching his 17th birthday and made a total of 24 appearances for the Pilgrims. The transfer of Gosling, who can also play at right-back, represents good business for Argyle with the teenage prodigy not a first-team regular at Home Park. The deal is Argyle's highest transfer beating the £750,000 that Southampton paid for striker Mickey Evans 10 years ago.
  2. Re: maniche to go up? Yes still a very good player and could go up next time around.
  3. Re: minimum number of players for a squad What happens if you have a squad of 18 players or less due to retirements. 7 to 10 million in debt. Can't sell any players to raise money due to minimum squad size?
  4. 28 year old Midfielder with Serie A Club Palermo, is having an impressive season this year and tipped to get his first cap with Brazil, currently a 90 Rating. Could be worth buying as his Rating is likely to go up.
  5. Re: Steve MANDANDA Would be an Ideal buy as a reserve keeper for a Division One side,i.e. low wages, he could go up to an 88 rating when the French Ratings come around and if he carries on as he has could be a 90 rating when the French ratings come around the next time.
  6. Re: Applying for Managerial Vacancies Yeah Fair enough! just a thought
  7. To make this more realistic maybe managers have to earn write to manage the top clubs. Maybe Rating 40-50 Division Four Rating 50-60 Division Three Rating 60-70 Division Two Rating 70-80 Division One Rating 80+ for one of the biggest 6 clubs of a set up perhaps a each club will wait 24 hours before filling a position with the best applicant. This would make the game more realistic and give long serving managers in a lower division a chance of a better job in the same set-up
  8. Re: Krisztián TIMAR I agree about Akos Buszaky, sometimes only a fringe player at Plymouth and seams to be enjoying a regular place at Queens Park Rangers. Halmosi has been outstanding this season and has been getting intrest from Premiership and other big spending Championship clubs, along with Norris should be Plymouth highest rated players. Norris is also more of a central midfield player now, rather than a right midfield.
  9. Re: Krisztián TIMAR Timar is now a key player at Plymouth, but Plymouth players don't get as good as rating as other more hugh profile teams in the same division. David Norris is another who is vastly underrated in terms of rating, but who is wanted by most Championship sides.

    Who Am I?

Re: Who Am I? I made two appearances for my first club in League Two, before joining a top Premier League team in 2005. I have since had two loan spells to Championship side this and last season?

  20. Re: SM Code of Conduct What if some random manager takes control of a club for one match, fields the weakest team possible and another manager reports this. Does the Manager of the opposing side, possibly having won by a big score, face losing his club, despite being totally innocent? I would be well gutted if having spent a couple of seasons at a club and having spent a lot of time building up a squad to the best of ones ability to suddenly being suspended and losing my club. At least a warning must be given before any suspension is given.
  21. Re: Great Youth Idea I agree that a youth cup or league would be a good idea, just to see how good your youth team compares to other sides.
  22. Federico Fazio I think Sevilla's central defender Federico Fazio is also worth a big increase as he is only a 76, despite having played twice for second place Sevilla.
  23. Re: Good Young English Players Outside the Prem Dan Gosling and Gary Sawyer, now first team regulars at Plymouth.

  25. Re: free agent Just search for players and you will see Free agents, here and there, not as good as the Free Agents list but makes scouting for players more realistic.
