  1. Re: When on earth are the chinese ratings going to happen? Brazil to be reviewed again, yet no Chinese league update??
  2. Re: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain It's not just lower leagues, it's some of the less prominent leagues. China hasn't been reviewed for approx 2 years now - particuarly irritating as Brzail are about to be reviewed for the 2nd time this year.
  3. Re: Brazil Série A Rating Predictions Bit disappointed this has come around again quite so fast. Chinese rises anyone???!
  4. Re: SMFA Blocks I can't sell Fernando Torres for cash in my setup. I lowered his value to 71m which still won't go through. I'm not going any lower, in my setup I can get 33 year old Drogba for 50million, but 71 for Torres is seen as dodgy???
  5. Re: Jordan Henderson He could go to the mid-nineties, eventually. Have to say I think Kenny Dalglish is out of his tree spending 20m on him.
  6. Re: Player Concerns (please read the Online Help if looking for help) Also, I'd agree with you here. Soccermanager clubs are bigger than real life - but this is not because of the concerns being leniant (they're not). Squads need to be bigger in Soccermanager because players cannot play games as frequently as real life. Most players can play two league games and a cup game in 8 days (not EVERY 8 days though). You need more players simply to have a fit 11.

  8. Re: Igor Akinfeev rise or fall? If you're asking who is the most solid number 1 Goalkeeper for you out of the three... Go for Cesar. Akinfeev is a top goalkeeper but I worry about his agents. Surely they should have found him a top European club by now. If Akinfeev was going to rise in Russia, he'd have done so already. Might be worth hanging on to him as a backup if you can afford both.
  9. Re: Player Concerns (please read the Online Help if looking for help) This is the problem with SM. Feedback and information. It's virtually impossible to play a game effectively unless you understand the rules. SM is so vague in so many aspects of it's game that my main interest was simply through aquiring risers. Elements of the game such as concerns shouldn't be a "black art" where we're all guessing what to do. It's the same with tactics, the feedback from games is so pitiful that it's as much a throw of the dice as anything. I do like SM a lot, but it could do with some real work to t

  11. Re: When on earth are the chinese ratings going to happen? OK, but if it's going to be, literally, years out of date - then there's an argument that those clubs and players should not be in the game. I don't want that - but I do believe that any clubs in the game should be looked at and reviewed at least once a year. For example, my local pub team isn't in the game so I don't expect any of the players to hit 99 (or 9). If a club is in the game though - they have to regulate it. Not to is just daft.
  12. Re: When on earth are the chinese ratings going to happen? I'm all for the big leagues to be done more reguarly, but not at the expense of the small leagues being done at all. For a game that is incredibly ratings driven (both the tactical side and the transfer side) it's a bit hopeless if so many players are out of date.
  13. Anyone got any ideas? It must be at least a year since they were last done? Surely every country should get at least one review a year?

  15. Re: Lionel Andrés Messi Well found! This Messi guy looks like he might get to be a decent player!
  16. Re: Ronaldo deserves 99 too! Yeah, a third option of "Messi 99 and Ronaldo 98" is required.
  17. Re: Can Messi get to 100? That's fine - but if that's 100, Messi isn't 99. Again. I'm not saying Messi should be 100. I'm not saying Messi should ever be 100 necessarily. I'm saying that if he continues to develop then there will likely be an effect on the ratings. That affect may just be that current 96 players become 95 - but I would see an affect taking place.
  18. Re: Can Messi get to 100? Do you guys not feel as though they've dropped the highest ratings a little recently anyway. I know it's mainly because of the league but the Italians have been chopped right back. There's not nearly as many high rated prem players as there was either. There's maybe not a massive difference but I think ratings have dropped on average a bit over the last couple of years. If Messi/Ronaldo were to improve lots I personally think they'd rejig it again. Probably over time than an across the board -1 for others. Don't know though, it's going to be interesting to watch.
  19. Re: idea to stop cash hoarding. There's some interesting debate on here, but I don't think enough people are actually treating the original idea with enough respect. I believe there is a problem with cash within setups. I do not believe a squad cap is the answer. This will limit the number of players we can have, but it's not going to stop me from turning around a profit. It's somewhat academic as there isn't going to be a drastically smaller squad cap - they wouldn't have brought in concerns if this was going to happen. For me, if low rated players didn't have a rising value for me then I'
