I would go for Zlatan personally. He maybe doesn't score as much as Eto'o, but I feel he will provide more goals for the rest of your team, as well as scoring for himself. Everytime I have had Zlatan, he has scored and assisted

I'm quite bored, so here's a list I worked out of all teams available for All Other Nationalities, and quality players. I must say, I'm a bit surprised Ghana and Cameroon have been picked ahead of Uruguay and Colombia. They only have 1 or 2 good players, whereas Uruguay and Colombia have loads. Coventry Transfer News

10 In 10 Out At The Ricoh!

Since Juve_Fan's appointment as the new Coventry boss, there has been alot of chopping and changing at the Ricoh. 10 players have joined Coventry, and 10 players have left, including Kasper Schmeichel leaving, and experienced players such as Nolberto Solano and Oliver Neuville joining.

^^Solano (left) and Neuville have both joined Coventry to help push for promotion.

Other players to have joined Coventry show that Juve_Fan is aiming for a squad with a mixture of youth and experience to help them climb the leagues in England. Nolberto Solano (£4,200,000 - Free Agent), Thomas Helveg (£0 plus Marcus Hall from OB), Max von Schlebrugge (£1,400,000 plus Stephen Hughes and Robbie Simpson from Brondby), Marcos Tebar (£0 plus Kevin Thornton and Chris Birchall from Real Madrid Castilla) and Oliver Neuville (£2,000,000 from Borussia Monchengladbach) were the first to join, for a combined fee of £7,600,000.
Next to join the ever-growing squad at Coventry was Abdoulrazak Traore, a 19-year old left winger from Rosenborg for £500,000 plus Jay Tabb and Kieran Westwood.

^^Abdoulrazak Traore was the 6th player to join Coventry, and a sign that Juve_Fan was looking for youth as well as experience.

The latest signings were last night, they were 21-year old Krzysztof Krol of Real Madrid Castilla (Coventry's second signing from the Real Madrid youth team) and 19-year old Sebastian Eriksson from IFK Göteborg. Krol joined for £20,000 and Eriksson for £0 plus Stuart Giddings.
Unfortunately, to make these signings, Coventry had to make sacrifices, these sacrifices saw Dimitris Konstantopoulos leave and head to Ergotelis for £1,500,000, and star player Kasper Schmeichel head to Palermo for £2,000,000 with Giovanni Tedesco and Federico Agliardi heading to Coventry.

^^Hotshot 'keeper Kasper Schmeichel (above, left) had to be sold to raise funds, and was sold to Palermo in a deal which saw Tedesco and Agliardi (right) head to Coventry.

    Managers Word

"It's an exciting time to be a Coventry City fan, with all the new signings, and the expectations for the club. This season we should get promoted, but that doesn't mean we will, we still have to work hard, and nothing will come easily to us. The cup draw hasn't been kind to us, with West Ham away in the Cup and Newcastle away in the Shield. We will field a strong team, and hope to progress in one of the cups, but it will be difficult. We have had 10 players join our club in the space of a few days, but I promise, there will be some more. We still need one more forward, a centre midfielder and a centre back, I will not mention names right now, but I have a forward and centre midfielder in mind, and have tabled bids for both. We are still looking for an 85+ cb."

    Juventus 3-0 Palermo

Trezeguet, Josue and Camoranesi did the damage to Palermo on the opening day of the season. Narciso was pleased with the performance but also revealed some big news after the game that has been kept under raps.

"We are still eligible for 1 purchase, and I can say Ronaldinho has signed a contract for us, by this time tommorow he will be a Juventus player and will complete our transfers. Trezeguet and Chiellini were used in the deal and it was tough but it seemed like the right time for Trez to move on and although Chiellini is a hot prospect and good centre back , Ronaldinho was the key man we wanted.
The result tonight was brilliant, we did exactly what I asked of them and we kept a clean sheet too. If the deal does go through, its a fitting way to say bye, as Chiellini would have ended with a clean sheet and Trezeguet a goal."

    Dani Alves Signs Chelsea Deal

This morning, Chelsea unveiled Dani Alves as their latest signing, making the switch from Roma to Chelsea for £6,000,000, with Kolo Toure heading to Rome as part of the deal. The transfer has not come as a surprise, as there has been speculation in all the major newspapers in Italy and England for a couple of weeks now. What the press didn't see though, was Kolo toure heading in the other direction, which has been confirmed.
"We are sad to see Kolo leave the club as he has been a great asset to the squad ever since he joined from Inter 4 seasons ago, but, if the club is to progress, then we have to make sacrifices, and sadly, Kolo has gone to make room for another quality player in Dani Alves. I have been an admirer of Dani Alves ever since he was at Sevilla, and was devastated to find that he had chosen Rome instead of London when he left Milan."

^^Dani Alves, pictured above in action for Brazil, has completed his move to Chelsea for a fee of £6m, with Kolo Toure heading the other way.

In the same press conference, Chelsea revealed another young defender, Martín Cáceres, had passed a medical, and was now training with the squad after completing a "dream" move to Chelsea for £2,700,000 with Edison Cavani and Fabián Luciano Monzon heading to Defensor Sporting.
"Again, we had to make sacrifices", revealed the Chelsea boss, "Edison and Fabián were both hot prospects at the club, but Martin's agent revealed he wanted to move to us, and we were delighted to have agreed a deal with Defensor Sporting."

^^Caceres, pictured above, has signed for Chelsea for £2.7m, plus two players

Some Chelsea fans are angered at their managers signings, saying that the season isn't over, and that signing players is distupting the squad. Many fans also feel that if they keep signing players, then there won't be anyone coming in in the summer, when the season is over. The Chelsea manager said this:
"There will me more chopping and changing when the season is over, we have one player coming tomorrow morning for a medical, then that will be all our signings until the season is over. We need to add to the squad whenever we can, to make sure that we can still challenge, and not lose out to some of the bigger teams, as we have done in the past few seasons. This period of change has been hard for Chelsea fans, but next season there will be a challenge on all fronts, and we will be going for at least one trophy. Unfortunately, as part of the Dani Alves deal, Correia Adriano is on his way to Rome for 13m."
Chelsea have since revealed that the player joining is John Bostock from Crystal Palace, and hope that no other managers will poach him.

^^John Bostock has a medical at Chelsea tomorrow after havin a £325,000 bid accepted by Palace, and Correia Adriano has a medical at Roma at the same time, after having a £13,000,000 bid accepted.

He is a very good player, good goalscorer, but he does miss a few chances as well, I have to say I was shocked to see that he didn't increase last time round, I would expect an increase to about 79, maybe 80. Posh should be playing League One football next season, and if he can re-create this goalscoring form then I can see him becoming 80+
Goin to watch him tomorrow as well

Basically as the title says. For any of you Forumers who are experiencing any trouble getting pictures into your threads or posts this will/should be very handy
Good luck with you pics!Picture direct off the internet by searching:
    1) Go onto the place you want to get your picture from (Google or Yahoo!) and select 'Images'
    2) Type the picture you want to find. Example: 'Fulham'. Choose one of the pictures provided to you. Click it. Make the image you have selected as a full size image (it will have a shorter address therefore will be easier to add).
    3) Go onto the Url box at the top of the screen. Double click it, to select all of the address.
    4) Go back to the thread/post you want to add your image to. Paste the address (url) there. Highlight the address from in the thread/post box, and click the button which says 'Insert Image' (looks like a frame, with yellow sky, an orange sun and 2 mountains)
    5) Preview your post to make sure your image has appeared. Be pleased that it has! Final Result:

How to add a screen shot of my team (or anything) into a post when logged into your account:
    1) Find the page you want to take the screen shot of. Paste it onto 'Paint' (suggested by me) and crop the picture to make it the size you want to. Now save the file as a 'jpg' file.
    2) Go to http://s139.photobucket.com/ and make an account. Confirm your account over the e-mail address you have selected and log on.
    3) After being logged in on 'Photo Bucket', choose your file using the browse option. Select 'upload' and wait for it to upload. Scroll down and find your image there.
    4) Select the address of 'IMG Code' and paste it onto the thread/post you are posting. Always make sure you get the full address! Final Result:

How do I add an attachment?
    Easy.
    1) Scroll down the thread/post and click 'Manage Attachments' in the 'Attach Files' section.
    2) Select Browse and find the image or file you want to attach. Make sure the file is not bigger than the limit! When it's selected click Upload.
    3) Close the window. Your file is now attached and ready to be shown... Final Result:
    See Attachment below please.
Hope everyone finds this useful sometime when visiting the Soccer Manager forums. If I have missed out or forgot something I'd appreciate if it would be pointed out.
    Good luck with your pics!

    Juve Progress To Final

Nearly a full house at the Delli Alpi saw Juve brush aside AC Milan in the Italian Cup semi-final by 6 goals to 1! Scott McDonald was the hero for Jvue as he banged in FOUR GOALS, including a hat-trick in 26 minutes. Juve fielded a weakened side, as the league is still the priority, but that didn't matter as they looked just as strong as the first team. The first 30 minutes were all Juve, and it took just 14 minutes for Scott McDonald to poke home to make it 1-0. Two minutes later he doubled his tally for the night, with a powerful right-footed shot into the corner, and the hat-trick was completed 10 minutes later on 26 minutes as he powered into the box to lash home. Ronaldo gave Milan a lifeline with what was the goal of the night on 33 minutes, but Tom Soetaers made sure no comeback was on the cards as he scored just 2 minutes after Ronaldo, on 35 minutes. The score was 4-1 at Half Time. Carlos Villanueva made it 5-1 10 minutes after the restart, with a piece of pure genius, which left the Milan defence for dead. Scott McDonald ended the scoring with his 4th of the game on 89 minutes.

^^ Scott McDonald scores his 4th of the night, leaving Dida helpless.

    Final Score

    Juventus 6 - 1 AC Milan

    The Past Week:

The past week has been one to remember for Juve, beating fierce rivals Torino, 1-0, beating Lillestrøm SK 5-1 in the SMFA Champions Cup, beating Inter Milan 4-2, and beating AC Milan tonight, 6-1. Three fierce rivals were all destroyed this week by Juventus. 16 goals scored in 4 games, with 4 being conceded.
    Managers Final Word

"This has been a fantastic week for the club, despite being dumped out of the SMFA Champions Cup, we worked hard and beat 4 hard opponents with not to much difficulty. Hopefully this form will be continued into the league, and if we can beat Atalanta in the Cup Final on 31st March, which is acheiveable, then we have a good chance at a double, but the fans will need to be behind the lads all the way, and I'm sure they will be, as they always are. We have Bari and Udinese on Wednesday and Saturday respectively, and I feel these are games we can get something out of. Lazio are not unbeatable, and I'm sure we can catch them, and will."

I will try to do a weekly report every Sunday

    He is Posh!

    The Great Expectations...
The Peterborough United board have given a statement, and expect the new manager Juve_Fan to achieve promotion and have a good run in both the English Cup and Shield! These expectations will, as Juve_Fan said, hopefully be met, and the fans can hope for a successful season. The new manager is feeling confident, and thanks the board for the massive amount of money they have put into making Peterborough United a better team.
    The New Boys...
In the short space of just one night, Juve_Fan has secured 3 signings, and 3 loanees. The loan stars are Adrian Pit, who has joined 'till the end of the season from Italian giants Roma, managed by good friend Tom. Also, Juve have Dedura and Motta, from Spartak Moscow and Udinese respectively, both again from good friends Danny and Ross.

^^Marco Motta has joined Posh until the end of the season from Udinese.

^^Ignas Dedura has flown in from Russia and will join the squads training session tomorrow.

Posh have also signed three other players; left back Jeff Hughes joined from Crystal Palace for a club record of £1.2m, Brazilian centre half Samora da Silva Herick joined for 650k from Cruzeiro, and right back Alejandro Veron joined for 250k from Vélez Sársfield. Posh can confirm that Valencia veteran goalkeeper Juan Mora will also be joining the club tomorrow, after having a bid of 500k accepted earlier today. Also, Posh have had a bid for another player accpeted, but are keeping tight-lipped about the player. The only detail Posh have released is he is a forward.
    The Next Match...
Posh officially kick off their campaign with a game away to Chesterfield on the 29th of December, but Posh have offered a friendly for this Friday against Exeter City, managed by good friend George. Posh have a buy in the First Round of the English Cup, but face a stern test against Wigan in the First Round of the English Shield, albeit a home game.
    The Managers Say...
"Well, let me begin by thanking the three manager who are loaning me the players, I cannot begin to tell how grateful the club is. I believe I can fulfil this clubs expectations, and although it will be a long hard season, I believe it can also be a successful one. The 3 new signings have looked good when I have seen them play, and I believe they can perform in a Peterborough United shirt. I know the fans must be excited, but I am asking for time, these new players will need time to gel, and get to know eachother both on and off the pitch. I hope that we can reach at least the third round of one of the cups, if not hopefully both cups. Chesterfield will give us a stern test in the first game of the season, but I hope that we can overcome this test. Finally, I am hoping to see a good crowd for the first game of the season, and I hope that everyone can come and support the Posh!"
