  1. Re: Wc 40000 really good to see the league fully managed, just hope it stays that way after a few managers miss out on there targets due to all the madness at the moment in the bidding wars.
  2. Re: Wc 40000 only 11 teams left, not bad going considering, and still some more than decent clubs in amongst them.
  3. Re: Wc 40000 noticed this thread just when i was posting in e.c 28697, and figured might aswell grab a team and see how it goes, ideally wanted to grab schalke as i like the starting squad team selection alot, but must of just been too slow as i clicked on the name (it was still blue) the apply button was missing from the squad page, so picked up newcastle instead because of the stadium mainly but not a bad squad to start off with, added bonus noticed the fixtures are sat/wed which is nice as the e.c i'm in is sun/thu also open to trades on any players at the moment as i haven't really got anyone i wanna keep 100% just yet.
  4. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce steered Manchester United to victory against Stoke City. Manchester United outclassed Stoke City and beat them 4 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture. Reus scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. özil was also on the scoresheet for his side. this one started off a bit iffy, went behind after half an hour to a demba ba strike, then ozil(who i'd just before this game put back on freekick duties instead of fabregas) smashed in a freekick in the 43rd minute to draw all things level, now due to how stoke line up i did think i might have a bit trouble with my usual setup so added some halftime tactics just incase and very glad i did and they were certainly needed in this case. in the 55minute ozil had another chance from a deadball scenario and again beat the keeper all hands up, then reus took over grabbing his very own brace in the 75 & 78 minute respectively to make the final score 4-1
  5. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread gillingham, afc wimbledon & dartford are all on offer to steve g accrington stanley are on offer to mister malcolm wolverhampton wanderers are on offer to chivas 1906
  6. Re: New custom world created yeah think the added "sacking" element is really a nice touch and makes it a tad more realistic and will definetly but added pressure on making sure you can get your respect team to perform instead of just leaving them to rot playing the same old tactics wheither they work or not.
  7. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread bit of transfer news for united, after the mess of the ramos deal managed to agree a deal with the west brom manager for a player who is going to help out big time, swapped out sokratis + cash for azpilicueta who's dual fullback positions is going to offer real cover for both zabaleta and alba if either of them is out injured (which zabs curretly is) didn't really want to lose sok's as he's a quality player but needs must and all that, overall more than happy to of done the trade.
  8. Re: New custom world created just applied for real madrid, like the extra rules you have in place too, especially the managers getting sacked if they finish in the bottom 3 and the log in rule lowered to 10 days(and of course the no buying from unmanaged)
  9. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce steered Manchester United to victory against fierce rivals Manchester City in the Manchester Derby. Manchester United beat Manchester City 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture. Agüero was on the scoresheet for his side. really needed this win to keep the gap at the top healthy especially considering the other results that took place tonight, also aguero grabbed another brace so he's now got 19 in the league so far, from watching the match de gea had a cracker, i really thought i was going to be pegged back in the 2nd half as city were getting chance after chance it seemed(16 shots 7 on target) and all falling to utd ex-player suarez(he did grab one though) did pick up another costly injury, lost busquets for 3 weeks which is going to hurt especially with zab's also on the treatment table, but hopefully the guys i've got stepping in for them can hold it together til they get back to fitness last bit of news i'm selling p.e aubameyeng for cash as i've got another transfer in the pipeline and need the cash to complete the deal so he's listed for 10million and can leave for that price which all things considered is pretty cheap so someones got the chance to pick up a right bargain if they can with him.
  10. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce was unable to prevent a Manchester United defeat to Queens Park Rangers. Manchester United slumped to a 1 - 0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers in their Division 1 fixture. seem to be hitting a slightly sketchy period of form at the moment, was ever so slightly better in the stats part of the report but couldn't make it count where it really matters, still got a pretty healthy lead on 2nd place but certainly don't want to make this dropping points thing a regular thing
  11. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce steered Manchester United to victory against Sunderland. Manchester United outclassed Sunderland and beat them 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture. Agüero scored both of the goals for Manchester United and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. very costly win, lost zabaleta to injury for a month which is really going to be a pain to cover until he's back and ready to play although another bonus to come from tonihgt's fixture is that aguero has now moved to the top spot on the goals table with 17 league goals (19 in all competitions)
  12. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce was unable to prevent a Manchester United defeat to Bristol City. Manchester United slumped to a 2 - 1 defeat against Bristol City in their Division 1 fixture. Agüero was on the scoresheet for his side. wheels had to come off at some point i guess, lost in possesion terms but had more shots on target but obviously just couldn't convert aswell as bristol did couple of plus's can be taken from tonights fixture though, firstly i won't know if i've won before playing the match as the "record" message won't be showing up anytime soon, my closest rival also failed to win so i didn't lose any ground in those terms, reus is one game closer to making a return and it seems like it might be time to change tactics as i lost in my other gameworld too against tactics i usually dominate against(never get that about this game that all of a sudden winning tactics just stop working for no apparent reason:rolleyes:)

Manchester United outclassed Watford and thrashed them 6 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture. 14. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce steered Manchester United to victory against Newcastle United. Manchester United outclassed Newcastle United and beat them 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture. Fàbregas scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Agüero was also on the scoresheet for his side. had to hang on to an early lead in this one after for some bizarre reason reus decides to go and two foot someone and get himself straight red-carded for no apparent reason making the win and the upcoming fixtures an even harder task to get done, looks like pjanic is going to get a much awaited run in the squad in his place
  15. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread certainly didn't see a result like this coming Stuart Pearce steered Manchester United to victory against Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester United hammered Tottenham Hotspur 7 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture. özil scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Agüero and Fàbregas were also amongst the goalscorers. also because of the scoreline broke another individual record The Manchester United club record for highest scoring league game has been broken. The game against Tottenham Hotspur finished 7 - 1 yesterdays result now moves me to 9 points clear of 2nd place
  16. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread another u21 player signs for united, stade rennais abdoulaye doucoure dm/mc 82ov can go out on loan if anyones after a dm/mc prefer 1st choice but not essential

Manchester United outclassed Blackpool and beat them 2 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture. Reus scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Agüero was also on the scoresheet for his side. also set a new record tonight for most consecutive wins so far, still though not much space between myself and 2nd place considering the recent good run.
  18. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce steered Manchester United to victory against Norwich City. Manchester United outclassed Norwich City and beat them 4 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture. özil was impressive and scored a hat-trick, later being voted Man of the Match for his performance. 19. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce steered Manchester United to victory against fierce rivals Chelsea. Manchester United beat Chelsea 3 - 2 in their Division 1 fixture. Zabaleta scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. özil and Agüero were also amongst the goalscorers. pleased to be scoring more than one goal a game for a change, but certainly not too pleased about getting pulled back from 3 nil up two games running
  20. Re: English Championship 28697 Discussion Thread Stuart Pearce steered Manchester United to victory against fierce rivals Liverpool. Manchester United outclassed Liverpool and beat them 3 - 1 in their Division 1 fixture. Agüero scored a brace and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance. Fàbregas was also on the scoresheet for his side. currently 5 points ahead at the top of the table, hard match coming up though on sunday against chelski.
  21. Re: Official World Cup 2014 Thread some interesting games today, thought the highlight of the switzerland ecuador match was clark carlise(the genius that he is:rolleyes:) saying that he didn't realise that the ecuador team was so strong as he'd been watching jackson martinez play in the europa league and couldn't believe he couldn't get in there starting lineup, wonder why that was heh clark... honduras against france game was disgraceful, don't know how they didn't end up having more men sent off just glad there was a strong enough ref in charge and he actually punished the right players, i mean i honestly thought for a second that pogba was in real trouble after palacios and that other guy(think it was the wigan player) trampled allover him while he was on the deck beckeles, and garcia(2nd half sub) both should of walked in my opinion aswell neither of them even slightly interested in playing the ball and could of caused some serious damage with the reckless tackles they were throwing around and najar gesturing for a booking a few minutes into the game was tasteless, glad its been an isolated incident so far this world cup and personally think anyone who does that should be carded themselves all in all its a shame they can't be kicked from the tournament argentina bosnia first half was pretty poor but certainly came to life in the second half once both teams went to there normally used formations, do want bosnia to do well just because its there first appearance and think they gave a pretty good account of themselves all things considered and hopefully they will still qualify from there group behind argentina, most impressive player on the pitch for bosnia i felt was besic, really didn't put a foot wrong all game and they certainly looked more threatening after they went two up top i mean they had a few wild shots here and there but overall it looked like they've got a solid foundation to build from
