I had that, but managed to sort it. I went to the web app, and go to 'Squad Selector', then create new squad. Do this , then save a couple of your players to the first team. THen log out of the web app, and try the console again.
That worked for me when I seen it on a different forum.
Anyway, after finally getting into ultimate team, my teams really taking shape . Decided to go for a Serie A team again this year after getting Lavezzi in my opening pack. Here's my first team :
    -------------Abbiati--------------
    Zaccardo--Juan--Diaz-80 LB(cant remember name )
    Hernanes--Cambiasso--Hamsik
    Lavezzi
    Krasic--Miccoli
Started off plating 4-3-2-1, but really struggled to create chances. Changed to 4-3-1-2, and got to the final of the 5k tourney, losing 6-5 in the final
Currently got 3k, with players like Lukaku, and Aimar on the trade pile. Hope to get about 10k, and try to get a good CB in that can keep up with strikers.

Re: English Championship 7046 Match Report/Tranfer Gossip Thread

Hot Start Takes Boro to the Top of the League…

…but now after a minor blip away at Man Utd Boro they’re now back down to 9th. Okay, so that’s the Man U vs. Boro match report over (not to mention the bloody friendly vs. Dagenham!). But no worries, they’ll soon be heading back towards the top of the pile as Middlesbrough travel down to Craven Cottage this coming Saturday in what should be an easy three points against the league’s bottom club. It’s fair to say Fulham have been the pits so far this season, even worse in the league than they were in the SMFA Shield last time around, which really is saying something.
Tensions have been raised ahead of the game though by the total lack of respect shown by Fulham ‘boss’ Dom Latouche’s uncalled for ‘one trick pony, girly defence, spit in his face’ comments earlier this week. Better a one trick pony than a one trick phony some might say, with Latouche strutting around claiming he’s the transfer king. You only need to look no further than his injury list to see one of his so-called ‘star men’ Michael Carrick. If that United reject is supposed to be an example of the transfer genius then it looks like Fulham are on a fast track to division 2.
But what of Latouche’s kitty persona that he rolled out during his latest incoherent rant? Speaking on the condition of anonymity a Fulham official has confided that Dom’s nickname is indeed ‘The Cat.’ “We call him that,” the official revealed, “on account of the fact that he likes to lick his own genitalia, more often than not during halftime team talks. Says it relaxes him.” The source then continued, “Well, that and his ‘Dom’ nickname, which everyone knows is short for Dominatrix. Each one of us at some time or another has felt the wrath of Dom’s leather whip, wooden paddle, or if he’s really mad, ‘the feather’ .

Fulham’s training gym after Dominatrix has had his hands on it

Indeed, with still no goals to their names Fulham failures Antonio Valencia and Rodríguez Pedro in particular have felt the Cat’s fury. The anonymous source admitted, “To be fair though a few of us have suspicions that Antonio and Pedro actually quite like it. I wouldn’t be expecting anything decent from them sometime soon. Yeah, the lads are really divided here. Some really want out but others just love it. I mean, how do you think Carrick really got injured? Say no more.”

Michael Carrick tries to get his story straight with Dom upon his release
from hospital after his left testicle was ‘accidentally’ trapped in a vice

So with Fulham wrapped up in the secretive world of Dom the dominatrix’s sadomasochistic fantasies is it really surprising that he enjoys seeing them lose so often? Oh, you can just imagine how much he enjoys the agony of defeat, and so seemingly do many of his ‘star players’. So really it’s hard to see anything other than an easy three points for Boro this weekend, who want to get in and get out before, quote, “Something weird happens.”
That said, things have been a bit weird at Boro of late, ever since the signing of former Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez. A series of troubling photos have been discovered by Boro manager Jooles of his goal-scoring ace prior to his time on Teesside. “I won’t lie to you,” said Jooles, “if I’d have seen this sort of stuff beforehand we’d not have signed him. If we wanted this sort of thing we’d have signed that Fulham misfit Pedro.”

Walter Samuel in particular was put out by the white pants

I'm currently bored, so decided to do this. Here's how I feel the Top Division could pan out this season (also, these are just my guesses and opinions) after most teams have made transfers:
1: Manchester United - United have made some great signings, one being Cristiano ROnaldo. They've a decent squad too, so if any injuries occur they should have enough players to cover them. Despite being beaten in game one, a decent manager should see this side be up there at the end of the season
2: Arsenal - They've a small squad, but filled with talent. Plenty of youngsters here that are top class, like Fabregas and Higuain. On the attack they will be lethal, so if there defence is up to the task, this side could be hard to beat.
3: Manchester City - A good team, but I still think they aren't up to the task of winning the league. They havent got the real top men like the 'big four', but overall a good squad. Third place would be a good finish for them
4: Liverpool - Liverpool have signed some good players, that really strengthens their side. They have a top manager at the helm now, so should break back into the top 4.
5: Tottenham Hotspur - Spurs have made some big changes to their side. They now have a really good midfield, and should control possession in most games. If there midfield performs to the standard the players are, then they could finish higher than this
6: Chelsea - Chelsea have some superstars in their side, but if any injuries occur, their side will be hammered. With only 12 first team players, their resources will be strethched to tle limit. Unless they bolster their squad. they may struggle. The best player in the planet mightnt be enough to see them falling out of the top 4
7: West Ham - The Hammers have made some major signings, and could be a force in this league. The squad they have is very experienced, but they can still perform. A high finish for them this season is expected
8: Aston Villa - They've made some really nice signings, and most should rise in the next rating changes. Not quite good enough to challenge the top yet, but will be in Europe next season
9: Newcastle United - They have completly changed their side, with Krul being the only man that was here before the change in management. A very young talented team, but lacking depth. A couple of injuries could hamper any chances of finishing high in the league
10: Everton - They havent made a lot of changes, but have bolstered their side. If they are able to perform, they are capable of finishing much higher than this. Now its just a question of will they play to their limits?
11: Sunderland - They have improved their side, and have made a big signing in Mascherano. They're good enough to stay in this divison, but will probably fall short of the top 10 places
12: Fulham - They've made some big signings, and have a lethal attack. Ronaldinho, Di Maria and Suarez could rip sides apart, but their midfield mightnt create too many chances. Should finish higher than this, but can they grinde out the results
13: Blackburn Rovers - 2 really top class forwards have came to Blackburn, with dangermen Villa and Milito coming in. Goals shouldnt be a problem, but will they have the players to replace them if they get injured. They should easily be good enough to stay in this league, but need to get more quality players in to beef up the squad
14: Birmingham - Birmingham are yet to make any signings, but they have a good side anyway. Zigic is a big target man, and Hleb could get the knock downs. A decent side, and should be good enough to stay up
15: Stoke - A good team, and should be a hard side to beat. A strong team, and should be good enough to stay up in the league. A couple of poor performances could really hamper this sides chances of staying up, but would need to bounce back from poor results
16: Wolves - They've made a couple of good sigings, but the rest of the players arent up to their chances. If they get their best players injured, they will really struggle. Might be good enough to stay up
17: Blackpool - They have really improved their squad and have a strong base, but they will struggle to stay up. They'll need to beat the sides at their same levels, otherwise they'll be in divison 2 next season
18: West Brom - They've got a solid defence, but will struglle to get goals. Unless they can get a clinical finish, they wont survive this season
19: Wigan - They've made one signing, which was bringing in Buffon. They now have a top class keeper, but the rest of the squad is average. DOnt think they've got what it takes to stay up
20: Bolton - They'll really struggle to stay up unless they make more signings. They've got a couple of good players. but will really struggle if they get any injuries. I think this side could be the 'whipping side' this season

Division 4 Playoff Preview & Prediction

So the play off finals are upon us. Three matches will be played at Wemberly at the same time. Dont know how it will happen, but it will get done. 90,000 capacity will inspire all teams togive thier all. Here will be the previews and predictions on tonights games:

Leyton Orient - Brighton & Hove Albion

Leyton finished 4th in the league and after beating Aldershot on penalties, will be heading to the match in high spirits. Brighton after sneaking into the playoffs, on goal difference, are the suprise pack. Brighton have the stronger side, but will start as underdogs. They too will be confident ahead of this tie, after a 1-0 win over 3rd placed Hartlepool.
Niether team has any injuries or suspension to worry about. Both teams plan to field a full strength squad, unless there is corruption or bribery involved of some sort.
Yussuf has been called in on loan for Leyton from Fulham. This gives Leyton more support in defences.

Could Ayila Yussuf be the X-Factor for Leyton?

Promotion will mean everything to the winning club and its fans. Leyton are
likely to stick with the 4-4-3 Wingers formation. It has brought them success before, as they will look to Thiago Rabiola to add to his tally of 13 goals and 6assists. He will be them main man, as leyton will also look to AM's Igalho & Lipiller to play through balls in. These AM's share 13 goals & 17 assists between them. Victor Sanches might also be required to play a huge part. his average rating of 7.21 prove his consistency as he will be expected to play his part in defence.

Rabiola has been working hard for this 1 moment. Can he produce?

Brighton are expected to stick with thier attcking 4-3-1-2 formation. It brought them a win against the strong Hartlepool, as they will look to carry on the success. Brighton will look to inform loaned in striker Franco Di Santo. The youngester has produced 7 goals and 5 assists this season. Brighton will also expect Captain & AM ,Lanzafame, to produce the goods once more. He has only played 14 games since his transfer from Juventus. In thos 14 games he has ammased a whopping 7 goals and 6 assist. Possibly the buy of the season.

Lanzafame will look to impress after his wonderful form.
    PREDICTION:

Epic Encounter. Two heavy weights class, to seek redemption. A packed stadium at wemberly wont make the situation any easier. Leyton, have time & time again produced the results, the question is can do they do it is the heat of the moment? Brighton are in form, and have a quality side. It is ahrd to scrap them from the match. the match will, for these reasons, end in a draw.
But expect Brighton to win out on penalties.

    Division 4 playoff semi-finals

It is that nerve biting, fist clenching, agonising time for four managers in division 4. The playoffs are here.
This season all the teams were over a clear 10 points from the automatic promotion places, maybe suggesting they are weaker than the others. The gap from 3rd to 6th was only a meagre 3 points, with two teams only missing out by goal difference so this should be very tight. These four clubs stumbling into the playoff were Leyton Orient, Aldershot, Hartlepool and Brighton.

Hartlepool vs Brighton and Hove Albion

Hartlepool do not go into this encounter run out favourites, Brighton were only 3 points away from them this season, so things seem very close. Hartlepool have a very good team, for this early on, with two 87's. Yet the team hasn't got a consistent performer or scorer and this has shown with them not winning in 6 games and losing their last 3 , maybe something to do with them adopting the 4-4-2 formation of late. But they do have home advantage.
Brighton on the otherhand have more higher rated players and these seem to be performing well, with Lanzafame netting every other game on average. Brighton fans will be glad to hear then that he did not score last game . Brighton prefer the 4-3-1-2 formation, but who knows if either team will keep the same formation for such a crucial game.
I feel that home advantage won't be enough and Brighton 4 wins in 6 will carry them through against a stuttering Hartlepool.

Hartlepool 0 - 2 Brighton and Hove Albion

    Leyton Orient vs Aldershot Town

Finishing 1 point above Aldershot, Orient have the home advantage. They will be looking to make it count with 5 of their last 6 games wins, only losing their last after putting out a reserve team. Their rating is not that great, with their highest forward being 80 rated Radiola. But he has performed admirably netting 13 times this season. They seems to favour a 4-3-3 wingers style, so we will see if this remains the same this game.
Aldershot are not on the best of runs, only picking up 7 points in the last 6 games, but they home their superior attack will be able to trouble Orient and their 84ish defence can thwart the weaker Orient attack.
Goals seem to be hard to come by for Aldershot of late and i think this will tell. Yet, this will be the closest of the two matches i feel.
    Leyton Orient 2-1 Aldershot town
