  1. Re: English Premiership Rating Predictions 2012/13 If Liverpool continue to be a mid-table club it would make it difficult to get anything higher than 93.
  2. Re: Guess at next leagues to be reviewed, & discuss SM's review policy........ You are hereby charged with pointing out the lies we are been fed about "the community" voting on all changes. I've tried to play by SM's new rules and proposed lots of changes, all of which have been rejected. Are we told why they are rejected? Are we hell. Devs are a joke, load of power-triped clowns who've lost sight of what made this game enjoyable. Hows about instead of asking me if I'd like to translate the sight from Arabic, you listen to the hundreds of your paying customers and give us some answers?

  5. Re: Guess at next leagues to be reviewed, & discuss SM's review policy........ I don't have a problem with the SoccerWiki in principle - after all whenever the SM staff did their once-in-a-blue-moon scheduled changes there was always a plethora of people on here asking "why didn't this guy get this rise" etc. However, upon registering for SW I am finding it impossible to vote for anything other than player pictures or referee data. I assume SW only exists to facilitate SM, so while it's great that anyone at any time can propose a rating increase it's pointless if I can't vote on other changes people have proposed. There's also no clarity on how many votes a change needs to be accepted. I'm not having for one moment that SW hasn't had hundreds of people voting for rises on people like El Sharrawy, Sterling, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Falcao whose ratings a drastically below what they should be. Yet one guy votes for some random 42 year old from Gambia to get a plus 2 and it goes straight through. It's all over the place, there's not enough communication or consistency from the SM/SW staff. If I was a new user who'd heard about SM and was interested in playing, and then saw that Raheem Sterling is 11 ratings lower than Harry Kewell I'd call the game a joke, close the page and never return. So SM are treating current users like idiots by not providing the feedback and/or changes they demand, and they are putting new users off with drastically out of date ratings. I've probably not broken any new ground here and I doubt a dev will even look at this (though if I insulted one of them or swore they'd be straight on it!), but I think everyone with an opinion on this needs to have their voice heard to give SM an idea of how many users are unhappy.
  6. Re: Constant Blocking of transfers by SMFA ATMS is causing more harm than good, and despite countless complaints to SM they maintain an "ignorance is bliss" approach to the problems we have. Here's a suggestion SM. If you're getting numerous complaints about something, fix it. Don't just take away all methods of compalining. It's like you're sticking your fingers in your ears and singing "la la la" until the problem magically goes away. The levels of customer service by these people are beyond a joke and I for one will not be renewing my Gold Membership. "The world's best online football manager game" should allow people to make transfers without some poorly-programmed automated system blocking it without providing a reason. This site has gone downhill very fast over the last 6 months, but the staff are more bothered about lining their pockets with Gold Member money than actually making the game better. Disgraceful.
  7. Re: Respuesta: the next 90+ players that are 88 or less Depending on how Sunderland do up to next changes it'll be 87/88. Starting to get a bit of media attention now which always helps the SM rating!
  8. Re: kiessling or lavezi I'm on the other side of this scenario! I have a bid in for Lavezzi that would see me lose Kiessling, interested to see what people have to say about it?
  9. Re: Official Player-Position Correction Thread Bumpy
  10. Re: Official Player-Position Correction Thread I'd say Rooney's position is correct. He is predominately a striker who can also play a deeper role. He's not an attacking midfielder who can do a job up front.
  11. Hi guys; I think my least favourite thing about SoccerManager is how many player positions are inaccurate. Sending a ticket in does sometimes resolve the issue, but more often than not we find a player's position will not be reviewed until his relevant league's rating changes. The reason I start this thread is to see the general opinion on what managers feel a player's position should be. Rather than 10, 20, 30 etc people sending in a ticket to SM about the same player's position, I think it might be more time-effective for SM to review this thread every now and then to see what the members feel a players position should be. I'll get things going with a few players as example, I hope this thread becomes a useful tool to SM and I encourage other managers to provide examples of what they feel is an inaccurate position. Marouane Fellaini Current SM Position: CM/DM Correct Position: AM/CF Reasoning: Fellaini is certainly not a holding midfield player. More often than not Fellaini and Cahill spend time playing off the front man at Everton, or even playing up front together like they did against Manchester United this season. James Milner Current SM Position: CM/RM Correct Position: Mid Reasoning: Already this season Milner has played through the middle for Aston Villa, on the wing for Manchester City and both roles for his national side. Milner is widely regarded as one of the most versatile players in the EPL and I think his SM position should reflect that. Feel free to provide constructive feedback or suggestions.
  12. Re: 7 Subs? Silly question perhaps but how does one go about maybe getting into Westgate?
  13. Re: 7 Subs? So would I. A few people have been telling me the squad number thing "will happen shortly" but no one can tell me how they know this or where they have seen SM say when it will happen.
  14. Re: Customizable Kit Numbers Having a squad of over 100 players is unrealistic...
  15. Something I know has been mentioned before but yet still hasn't been addressed. The majority of major competitions now allow managers to name 7 substitutes rather than 5, so how come we haven't seen this happen in SM? I don't profess to be an expert but surely this wouldn't take SM too long to implement, but would please the majority of managers. Anyone know if SM plan to increase the number of subs?
  16. Re: Customizable Kit Numbers I support this idea very much. I have no sympathy for managers with over 100 players, just greedy and unrealistic. Would quite happily accept a cap of 99.
  17. Re: Big risers from the big leagues-SUMMARY Disgraceful.
  18. Re: Site Down? If they take a day of my Gold Membership off me on a day where it's been down for a "short time" for over 8 hours I'll go spare. Surely English ratings can't be finished yet? How has Chris Smalling stayed at 77 when Phil Jones hit 80?
  19. Re: Premiership Ratings By MaoaM No rises for Smalling or Van Aanholt?
