    URGENT ERROR

My game world failed to process my cup game Monday night (World Championship 5741). On my schedule and my tactics screen it is still showing YESTERDAY'S date for my next match. Monday 7th, but today is Tuesday 8th. Will the cup game be played before my Wednesday league game?

I have to say, the new update has been an utter disaster from what I can see. No-one prefers the new layout, and there are now bugs appearing in both....... what was the benefit? It just seems overall a complete nightmare.

I know we were given a warning, but did we really need the shake up of player values and positions? It means every member has now got to re-evaluate their squads, and in most cases replace players that no longer fit in certain formations. For example, I now need SIX CENTRE BACKS if I want to play 3-5-2 formation two games in a row. I can no longer use full backs, ridiculous.

I must be missing something, because I am yet to find any redeeming features at all since the update.

Antonio Mourinho reacted to AVB in SM, a cheaters paradise?!
I'm playing SM for a couple of months, it has been a great experience, I love the game, found good and honest users, but... CHEATERS ARE ALL AROUND...
I started noticed many suspicious deals, new "users" selling its best players in pathetic deals, and when the dirty job is done, either resign or stay 30 days without login...
I'm sure you all know the MO
I reported all the blatant situations. SMFA only acted one time
    - a recently created account made pathetic and quick deals, clearly benefiting the main account. Both new and old accounts were playing at the exact same gws... SMFA removed the new manager, but... the INFRACTOR HAD NO PUNISHMENT... got Neymar for peanuts, is still managing and what's worrying is that he has a 260 reputation, which means that you can be a cheater for a long time...
this could be a joke, but I know a guy that has 2 main accounts, intitled "xxxxx" and "xxxxx2"... and was caught with more fake accounts...
at this exact moment there's a manager with 2 fake accounts, doing what you know... I reported to SMFA, but I already know that the answer will be an automated meaningless message...
    CHEATERS JUST DON'T GET PUNISHED...
    IS THIS ACCEPTABLE?
is SM worried about this huge problem called CHEATING?
Am I being stupid for playing by the rules, fairly, being polite, reporting cheaters?... should I become a moron and join the "dark side"?...
SM is wonderful game, and I hope that SM is worried with its reputation and game integrity, and starts taking serious actions against cheating, otherwise honest people like me are just being stupid for playing an inequitable game

    I agree completely.

On the club home page on the old UI it has the following:
League ID Calendar Club Messages (called Inbox on new UI) News Feed Club List (called Manager List on new UI) League Table for your Division Transfers On the club home page on the new UI it has the following:
League ID Mini Calendar News Feed Manager List I feel that the Club Messages and League Table can be brought into the club home page on the new UI with something like this (crudely done in photoshop):

League Table could have a dropdown like the Managers one, which'd give that page an extra feature that the old UI didn't as on the old UI homepage you had to click on the Division name and it took you to a separate page with all of the league tables on. Little changes like that might help some transition to the new UI easier as the UI elements will be in similar places whereas now the Club Messages and League Table are on a different page entirely.

I've just posted the following on our blog:

"Thank you for everyone who has taken the time to provide feedback. It is really appreciated and it's good to see that you are all as passionate about the game as we are.

It is your feedback that helps drive the game forward and what has made it into the game what it is today as many of your ideas and suggestions have been implemented over the years and will continue to be.

We've been passing on everyone's feedback whether that has been on the forum, social media, via in-game PM and email to the development team.

Due to this we've put the old interface that you all like so much back into the game and you can now move freely between the old and new ones.

This will remain in place until we have a new interface that the majority of you are happy with.

Whilst we make changes to the new user interface, please continue to provide constructive feedback on our forums because without this the game won't be able to develop."

I'm going to put that into a sticky thread for all to see and hopefully you'll continue to provide constructive feedback as we make changes to the new user interface.

I've also cleared up this thread (and will continue to keep it clean) so that anyone can easily see posts that are constructive and i'll apologise in advance if yours has been deleted (or may be deleted going forward).

This update may look nice aesthetically at first, but once you really dive in and try and play the game as you did last week, you'll find so many problems. I am honestly in disbelief that some things have been made so unnecessarily complicated. Why on earth would you remove stored tactics for example. I manage over 20 clubs and the reason I can is mainly down to that feature. Why on earth have players wages been doubled and values doubled, yet income and prize money remains the same? Why is the news feed and everything in general so large? No simple overview anymore. Gold championships, supposed to be the pinnacle of the game, are lucky to have 15 users now. I fear they will soon be extinct as people refuse to sink their own hard earned money into a game where those in charge don't seem to understand what the general user requires. Just look at the responses to this thread. If wager over 90% are negative. Failure to redeem such errors will be devastating.

Antonio Mourinho reacted to Hesse in Remove the option to say "I am insulted by this offer".
This can be seen as either a suggestion of a change in the game mechanics or as a plea to players to use this option a little more sparingly when rejecting transfer offers. The reason behind it? To improve harmony within the game, and to increase activity in the transfer market.
All too often I see managers click this option all too readily when a fair deal has been offered, or even when you counter with a reasonable offer after they have just offered a cash-only deal in a GC, which in itself could be viewed as insulting! I would even go so far as saying it is many managers stock response to virtually any deal offered. The problem is, is this option when selected, effectively on many occasions completely terminates any discussion on a deal between managers. In worst case scenarios I have heard of, and seen it actually cause arguments between managers.
Now I appreciate that there are times when a Manager will offer an absolutely ridiculous offer, which could be deemed as insulting; but would it not be better to try to open a discussion with that manager to explain why the deal is being rejected, at least then there may be a chance of getting a deal done that is mutually beneficial? Or then again, what is the "negotiate" button there for?
Maybe the answer is to have a "free text" option when rejecting deals, so that a tailored explanation can be given; but a good start would be to remove this option, which serves little purpose other than to antagonise.

Is it the right place to complain about the new layout?
Why dont you keep it simple?

the new interface is so bad. For example, a user has to do more keystrokes in order to choose an option. Which is not convenient and frustrating. Like before the league table was on the home page of the club which was simple and easy. Now i have no idea where it is, not even on the club section.
I have been playing soccer manager since 2009, and this new update is complicated, not user friendly and frustrating to use.

Can you just permanently have the option to switch between the old and the new interface???

That would suit all the users.

    Thanks.

    Hi guys
Please SM, give us the option to either use the new UI  or the old UI permanently. Many games provide this option to their players. Permanently giving us the option to choose between User Interface (UI) will allow a lot of old managers to stay as well as new players having the choice to choose their preferential interface to play with. This is a great game please make it better with a option to change between UI.
    Thanks
    Jason

    Afternoon Chaps,

Just to let you all know from WC 7th December we are going to offer our community the option of which interface that they use.

This means that whilst we continue to make improvements to the new interface, existing managers can revert to the old interface for a set period of time. If you do decide to revert to the old interface, you will still experience the other changes that have been made.

This will allow our existing community time to get used to the new interface before it is phased out permanently on the 11 January 2016.

Re: Run of unusual match results
I too have noticed "unusual" results, since around xmas time.
Not much we can do about it though.
It's a shame because up until that point, this game has been the best I have ever played. Now, in it's "new" state, it is on a par with other mediocre games I have experienced.
I joined SM around July 14 but haven't posted much because I don't usually have much to say. This, though, is significant I feel.
