  1. Re: SM Chat, has it gone down in recent months ?

I think this thread is a waste of space. The mods are in the chat to do a job, and they do this job very well. If they werent there, we would have lots of spamming, swearing and god knows what. I for one am glad they are there, I think it could be made more fun, but thats to do with the people who in there, rather than the mods being too harsh or the concept.

    Super 7 Everton

    Everton 7-1 Birmingham City

After being relegated last year, Everton were looking to get off to the best start possible, as they try to get back into the premiership on the first time of asking. They certainly did this.

A hat-trick from transfer listed Andy Johnson, and two from Jolean Lescott, one apiece from new signing Landon Donovan and short Loan signing Affelay were enough to put an unmanaged Birmingham City side away, and send Everton rocketing to the top of Division 2.

    Ipswich hit 5

    Ipswich Town 5-2 Swansea City

After a dull 0-0 draw against Plymouth 3 days earlier, Ipswich hit back today to hit 5 past Swansea City, a win that sees them move up to 2nd in the league, 2points behind Bristol City. Franco di Santo was back to his best, winning MOTM once again, with his two goals. Goals from Ricardo Rocha (1), Jonathon Walters (4), and Scott Sinclair (46) were enough to see off a poor swansea side. Franco di Santo now tops the goalscoring charts in the whole of england, with 7 goals from his 4 games, he has 3assists to his name, as well as 4 Man of the match performances, in all four games of the season.

  13. Re: Gold Championship 30 Discussions

What this setup needs ' date=' to be the best GC yet, and I belive with a bit of luck yes this is possible.

We need a group of 3 or 4 maybe 5 or even 6 of us to join up and do regular match reports on match previews on the major talking points on the different countries, international matches write ups, European write ups (Champs Cup, and SMFA Shield).

This could be the one GC. Ok your going to get a lot of dodjey deals, your gonna get really poor managers etc. But at the end of the day, what counts is the entertainment of the game. All the dodjey dealings will contribute to making the setup better imo. It can only do that.

Anyway 6 or so regulars who have been here long enough, have the time, and the interest. What do you think?[/quote']

Yep count me in - Man City
