  1. Arsenalisbest, sorry for ending your winning streak and knocking you down to 2nd in the league.... Heh, but in all honesty, it was a brilliant game I guess and Im just trying to keep my aim of a top 3 finish alive for promotion this season. Heh
  2. On a 4 match winning streak at the moment. My realistic aim is to secure promotion with a top 3 finish. But hey, there's a chance I might still overtake Portsmouth for the top spot. Hahaha it is a long season. The ball is round, anything can happen. Heh
  3. Haha enjoy your trip Rahul! And I just got offered the job at Sunderland... Still contemplating if I should take it?.. The team has Harry Kane and Petr Cech... Tempting but I feel quite invested in Carlisle already... Heh
  4. Haha I would like to thank Oxford United for giving my dream a chance... Heh
  5. Looks like Portsmouth isn't the only Division 4 team that beat a Premier League side in the Cup. Carlisle United got through to the next round by defeating Sunderland 2-1. Heh, I guess my Carlisle team will continue our run and hopefully catch up to Portsmouth haha
  6. Re: English Championship 32078 Discussion Thread Is it me or is the GM for our Game World late in "playing" today's matches?
  7. Re: English Championship 32078 Discussion Thread I realised Adriano B left Exeter City about a week ago? Anyway, Carlisle United just won 7-1 against Newport County putting them on a 4-match unbeaten streak that push them straight to 3rd from the lower half 4 games ago. Hope this league will continue to be exciting.
  8. Re: English Championship 32078 Discussion Thread The Carlisle Daily Carlisle United fought hard but eventually lost to York City 3-2 in a thrilling encounter. It was a tight game from the start as York City broke the deadlock with a penalty in the first half. Newly appointed manager of Carlisle United, Dinie Sadio, rallied his team and made changes by putting in a pair of fresh Singaporean transfers, Hariss Harun and Safuwan Baharudin. The game went to life as Marvin Ducksh and Gary Dicker both equalised within 15 minutes of the substitutions. Unfortunately for Carlisle United, York City's loanee from AFC Bournemouth, Stephane Zubar, scored the winning goal in the dying minutes of the game. Despite losing his first league game in-charge, Dinie Sadio echoed his thoughts about the exciting game. "The lads gave it their all out there and we were unfortunate to have lost. It takes a lot of heart to come back twice in a game. I am proud of them." Since getting the hot seat, Dinie Sadio has made 8 purchases in the transfer season thus far and hopes he can gel his new group of players together in the coming games. "Regardless, I hope the fans understand my desire in bringing this club upwards. Hence I've made new changes in hope that we can progress as a club together." The team hopes to win their next game against Mansfield Town who recently lost to current Division 4 league leaders Exeter City 6-0. Hey guys, Im just trying something new by pretending to be a journalist. Haha
  9. Re: English Championship 32078 Discussion Thread Carlisle United managed to secure these talents: Jonathan Ramis (Pumas UNAM) Marvin Ducksch (Dortmund) Max Grun (Wolfsburg) Alfredo Ortuno (Granada CF) Michelangelo Albertazzi (AC Milan) Really delighted the deals have gone thru, except for Kevin Rimane (Congrats Oldham for getting his signature!).
